Re-examining the footing of our redemptive,

biblical status.

Many seemingly mighty and elegant edifice, erected within the minds and around many Christians to behold will be collapsing at this end of days, particularly, from amongst what is presumptively defined as kingdom communities due to their weak, imbalanced spiritual philosophy and understanding.

 

We shall continue to discover as the new dawn of the days of the Lord falls upon us that that size, weight, and height do not necessarily amount to vision, strength, longevity, capacity, and productivity. The root or foundation we build will ultimately determine how far we go, and how long we shall remain, and this truth has now become a critical focal point as the sound of this present, spiritual advancement begins to lead us to a new frontier.

 

During one of our recent morning beyond devotional series, I was interested in probing why 22 thousand soldiers, armed for battle were disqualified, having failed the test of their fears and their lack of courage.

I have often used this scripture in Judges 7: 2-3 to reinforce my strong points while I am extrapolating on the subject of kingdom apostolic values and its principles, but it never really dawned on me to view this scripture from a redemptive perspective which is highly critical on the matters of advancing our kingdom mandate in this season.

During this last Easter week celebration, I took the time to do a series of teachings to highlight the importance and meaning of our salvation in Christ, and it’s advisable that we should often revisit this foundational truth even as we go on with the Lord.

 

The reality is, we cannot exhaust the ascended, revelatory, knowledge infused within the ministry of redemption. If creation is waiting in anticipation for its redemption, the logical reality will be that it’s those who have thoroughly understood the process and working of the various aspects of regeneration within the complex soul-life will be able to effectively and successfully carry out such a complicated task.

 

The important lesson from these 22 thousand, sandaled soldiers is that It’s so easy to make a declaration that we are taking back the land from the forces of darkness who have invaded our cities and space, it’s a different ballgame to be equipped ready for the warfare of reclaiming our lands.

 

The bottom line was 22 out of 33 thousand chosen warriors on the way to the battle were sent back home because something that ought to have been part of their default, the footing of readiness as the army of God was not there, hence, they were sent home. What could disqualify you and me in this season of preparedness and enrolment for the battle of the Lord?

 

I am sure you’ll agree with me that they’ve been times when we’ve assumed a sense of preparedness and readiness for an assignment only for a superior eye to access and scrutinize us, only to fish out of fear, weakness, ignorance, and unpreparedness.

How many times have we been told we are prepared and ready, particularly, from those who we assumed should know better than us; how many times we’ve presumed readiness in terms of receiving the necessary intelligence, training and capacity to engage the complexity of life like  becoming a wife, or ready to be a husband and a father?

What about raising children, going into business, taking that position of leadership either in ministry or in some corporate, secular position, only to realize we’ve been disqualified because something regarding our foundational footing and philosophy is not in order?

Redemption does just deal with our initial position of salvation but also addresses the dysfunctional realities within the core structure of our humanity. The ability to identify and accept the various dysfunctional, well-seated, Adamic has fallen believes and characters that have become part of our default operational system of thinking and behaving is a milestone in the journey of redemption.

 

“The LORD said to Gideon, “You have too many men with you for me to hand Midian over to you. Israel might brag and say, ‘We saved ourselves.’ Announce to the troops, ‘Whoever is scared or frightened should leave Mount Gilead and go back home.’ “So 22,000 men went back home, and 10,000 were left”. One of the most unfortunate things we can accept as followers and members of the Christian faith is to allow the deception of the enemy to shut change, reduce, downplay, or even confuse the core meaning, purpose, and implications of our redemption. 90% of the challenges we are facing today are due to the lack of insightful knowledge of the implementation and impact of the ministry of redemption.

 

Moving from a presumptive notion to a more precise understanding will allow us to begin the adjustment process in our orientation to sound biblical concept of redemption. We cannot bring light to humanity if our spiritual ideology is out of synch due to a wrong and imbalance doctrinal knowledge.

 

The re-civilization of creation, according to the word of God, starts from the precise redemption of creation. Redemption [regeneration] is both the footing and the framework of the value worth of spiritual essence and maturity.

 

Once the foundation of what we define to be redemption is not in alignment with the divine architectural design principles of progressive spiritual development, whatever we seek to achieve or build, including our family values, or ministry objectives will never arrive at the divine intention of God.
