Just as we have opportunities open to us in the natural realm, so we have opportunities open to us in matters of the Spirit. The difference, however, is that to see and make the best use of opportunity open in the Spirit, you must have a certain depth of hunger; a sense of quest and discernment, at least to pick what has been announced as open opportunity.
This season we have entered comes with certain levels of grace to enter or even do certain things that we will not naturally do without this season being opened to us. It is important to probe the Spirit as you open yourself to this now word, so you can make the best use of the moment. Indeed, this is a moment in the Spirit that doesn’t always come to us.
Grace is being released, but for what? You need to know why heaven is opening a window of opportunity for you and your assignment. The scripture is filled with various scenarios that show us that certain individuals or even communities were given the advantage of certain opportunities, which enhanced their position, condition, and circumstance in a great deal.
As a prophet, the moment the Lord mentioned windows of opportunity, I immediately began to stretch my antenna beyond the obvious that one would consider a window of opportunity. I want to see and truly understand what the Lord is saying, so I don’t misjudge or assume. It’s very easy for us to conclude certain things when we hear certain words or see certain images and objects.
2 KINGS 13 17“OPEN THE EAST WINDOW,” SAID ELISHA. SO HE OPENED IT AND ELISHA SAID, “SHOOT!” SO HE SHOT. AND ELISHA DECLARED: “THIS IS THE LORD’S ARROW OF VICTORY, THE ARROW OF VICTORY OVER ARAM, FOR YOU SHALL STRIKE THE ARAMEANS IN APHEK UNTIL YOU HAVE PUT AN END TO THEM.”
We must grow out of this wrong position of thinking as the day of the Lord draws closer on us. So, let us examine what the Spirit might be saying to us regarding the concept of windows of opportunity.
