PORTAL INTO THE NEW SEASON. IGNITING THE FIRE SPIRITUAL PURSUIT. PART 2.

IGNITING THE FIRE SPIRITUAL PURSUIT

Every spiritually successful journey has been born and maintained from the place of an unsatisfied hunger for the Spirit of the living God. How passionate are you about the glorious manifestation of Christ in your body? Until you can define this passion, I am afraid to announce that your journey has no clear objective that should fuel and sustain the expectation of the arrival of Christ in and through you into a world that desperately needs to see Him.

Whatever we have, whatever we have become and achieved without them becoming the next wood that ignites the fire to flame the passion and hunger of our journey towards the next point of fuelling, and the igniting desire of the Father will one day become our idol of worship.

Believe me, these achievements will become a place where we camp around and celebrate a pseudo-advancement of soul achievement without achieving the full pleasure of Christ, our ultimate pleasure and our inheritance.

The Lord is calling a people to a new place in Him, where all we see and desire is to become more like him in their assigned representation. In order to maintain and sustain a spiritual journey without distraction, one must define daily what sustains one’s goal.

You make it clear to yourself and other entities, persons or principalities that you are seeking spiritual power, the gifts, influences or miracles that you can receive from the Lord Jesus Christ; what you are seeking is to be reformed and transformed into his likeness. Your thirst and your quest are more than something you can display in his name.

You want to display him in his glorious presence. You want to live your life out of the overflow of his presence, which you have received in the place of devotion. We are not intended to live our lives outside his presence. Therefore, the more we understand how we are created, the more we submit to the process of returning to him to fill us with himself every day.

Until the cry is ignited with a passion for his desire in your life, you may not know the joy that brings fulfilment to your heart. You were not designed to be fulfilled by the earthly riches and possessions as wonderful and highly needed they are. Let this scripture minister to you as you meditate on it:

Psalm 63:1 O God, You are my God. Earnestly I seek You; My soul thirsts for You. My body yearns for you in a dry and weary land without water.
