Countless many, as we can see in the word of God and in modern history were defeated by the enemy during their prime days of strength and glory. A very good example of this that of Rehoboam, Son of King Solomon. The scripture affirms that when Rehoboam’s position as the King of Israel was firmly established with all the fortified cities he had built and the great numbers of armies at his disposal, he and the rest of the people abandoned the laws and ways of God.
