When you combine the ministry of prophets and teachers in the building up of an apostolic initiative, what you get according to Acts chapter 13 is the direct voice of the Spirit of the Lord, bringing insight, perspective, and clarity to the next marching order of the Father for his Church. The reason for highlighting these two gifts is for the single fact that their concept of reasoning and processing the things of the Spirt is by default different. The prophet, in his delivery of eternal truth, is more poetic most times, abstract in his concept and idea of unveiling the mind of the Lord.
The presumptive and assumptions of Christian theology, and of cause, the populace false sense of spirituality floating around many of our church communities in the last two decades or so, has cost the church dearly, particularly with the teens and young adult. Each season of your spiritual transition and development introduces you to an entire new world of truth emphasis that demands death to the old, and a continuous readjustment to the new emphasis of the Spirit such that you are able to accurately and effectively engage the purposes of God and the act of kingdom representation in the Spirit of truth and purity.
Suffering is not just about the lack of food, good clothing, money, nice house, the lack of education, job and so on. There's a suffering the lord has ordained and called his own into in an order to get the best of himself out of them. The fact that Christians across the globe live in different political and socioeconomic realities, and to a large degree, those realities affects and shape their spiritual orientation and outlook of their faith. In order words, what some many consider as the norm in their part of the world may turn out to be persecution in another region or context
There’s no mistake in the Lord, nor in his calling upon your life, or in your follower-ship of his divine purpose. We only find ourselves in a difficult position when we build our dream and expectation on a false sense of spiritual purpose that is not resonating, nor consistent with the fathers unfolding eternal, progressive objective for us. We don’t own ourselves nor out future. Hence, we cannot dictate, or sway the prophetic program and events designed to shape and determine the ultimate manifestation of the assignment of our representation. For in Christ we aught to live, move and have our entire being. This is the way of true spiritual knowledge and fulfillment.
