When you combine the ministry of prophets and teachers in the building up of an apostolic initiative, what you get according to Acts chapter 13 is the direct voice of the Spirit of the Lord, bringing insight, perspective, and clarity to the next marching order of the Father for his Church. The reason for highlighting these two gifts is for the single fact that their concept of reasoning and processing the things of the Spirt is by default different. The prophet, in his delivery of eternal truth, is more poetic most times, abstract in his concept and idea of unveiling the mind of the Lord.
The presumptive and assumptions of Christian theology, and of cause, the populace false sense of spirituality floating around many of our church communities in the last two decades or so, has cost the church dearly, particularly with the teens and young adult.
