CHRIST, OUR NATURAL HABITAT

CHRIST, OUR NATURAL HABITAT

Allow me to bother you again with one of the life-messages of wisdom. Many Christians today have become so naturally accustomed to specific and essential, practices to the extent that we have almost forgotten the transforming-life lesson we should be learning from them.

Yesterday evening my wife brought these plants home, and she immediately got a cup with water inside and dropped the plants in it. I didn’t give much attention to it except for the fact that she said one of the plants is a pine tree.

This morning while I was making myself a cup of tea, the Holy Spirit drew my attention to the cup and asked me, what do you see? I immediately cut the reason for the question; if the plants are not secure in the appropriate environment, they will eventually die in the next few hours or days depending on their longevity.

The right habitat of the plants does not only secure their existence but also their potential in growing and fulfilling their ordained purpose for life.

What a profound truth that we daily take for granted. Living daily in the environment that sustains who we are made to be is an ever-fresh revelation we should always cherish if we must remain relevant in life.

We’ve been placed in an environment that sustains everything we are, and should represent as humans made in the likeness of God. A life lived in the consciousness of the abiding presence of God is one that receives provision for life and godliness according to brother Peter.

Let me remind us that we do not have any excuse whatsoever not to remain in our natural habitat as followers of Christ, and for those who are none-Christians, nature speaks to us of who we are, and how we ought to be sustained in life even without a preacher.

This is the reason the book of Romans declares that as humans, we have no excuse for not living our lives according to the ethics code of God.

Romans 1:20
For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.

Why is it easy to see the repercussion of not transplanting a plant in their right habitat of water supply, yet, it seems so difficult to accept our own inherent sustained environment within the stream of living water?

While these plants do not have the will of their own to jump out of the water, and if they can, they will eventually die. We, however, see the will of these plants bound to the eternal objective of what they’ve been ordained for in their service to the use of man and the rest of creation.

Man, as the most superior of all Gods creation has been given a will because the one who created him has a will. However, we have not truly fathomed, understand, nor appreciate why we’ve been given a will that should be continually surrendered to the one who gave it to us as part of our daily devotional service to him who created us for his own good pleasure.

We’ve assumed that because we have a sense of where we came from, at least as Christians, immediately translates to been secured within the environment of our sustainability which of course is a terrible lie.

Refusing to consciously yield ourselves in obedience to the will of God is like a fish out of the water, assuming it will survive. Friends, this is not just some natural law, but a spiritual one, that should be daily sustained and in practice if we desire peace and fulfillment.

If you ever assume that you can survive with your supposed advanced intelligence and secured financial muscle without you abiding continually in the presence of Christ who is the source of all things, is a lie and you will soon die if you don’t remain in your natural spiritual habitat in Christ.

I hope these few lines will stir and motivate your spirit mind to start abiding in Christ our eternal source.

THE PURPOSE OF TRIBULATION AND STANDARDIZED KNOWLEDGE OF ACCESSING THE KINGDOM OF GOD. PART 5

Part 5

The foundation of all knowledge

We cannot venture into the knowledge of things, whether they be things in the heavens of heaven or things beneath the earth or within the innermost being of man without first having the knowledge of the Holy One. This basic point I am flagging is essentially crucial to the issues we are going to further consider, and I desire us to reexamine the foundation that ought to give us that proper orientation in both engaging and interpreting the mind of the Lord with regards to the knowledge and culture of his kingdom.

As a student of the scripture, I have discovered that even those who have been given to the body to teach and instruct us on basic principles, values and precepts of the word of God to some degree, share a bit of misconception, prejudices, and misrepresentation for various obvious reasons.

And therefore, I believe that reexamining the core footing that defines our theological prism of ideology inconsistent to biblical truth is highly necessary in order to have a correct, solid, holistic, unbiased spiritual footing as we press into the reality of what constitutes a precise, standardized knowledge of accessing the kingdom of God.

 The true purpose of salvation

Firstly, the very spiritual footing that both carries and form the shape of the foundation of what is intended to be built as a spiritual edifies plays one of the most important roles in the journey of life. The outpouring substance of what is intended to be shaped as a template of our inner, cast spiritual structure must first align with the revelatory design of the heavenly temple pattern.

However, this is a huge challenge since not everyone had the right spiritual discipleship program to access the knowledge of the Spirit through a precise, standardized, revelatory knowledge of Christ and the kingdom.  One may quickly argue that isn’t that one of the reasons why salvation, through being born again was given?

Yes, that is one of the reasons, but we can equally also agree that not everyone duly understands, or have come to agree that the core purpose of salvation is not just to make it to heaven but to mature us in all knowledge and dealings of life.

True, biblical, precise teaching on salvation ought to teach us how to bring heaven down into our present domain, in a manner that affords us the grace to reflect the glorious beauty and grace of the kingdom of God to creation and humanity through our reborn and regenerated spirit-man. Salvation and redemption were given to create an equalized position for everyone to perfectly access the doorway into the revelation of Christ and his kingdom for all.

Hence, redemption becomes the schoolmaster that prepares us for the position of the sonship nature of the second man, the last Adam, who has become the pattern and template of how we see, receive and function in the ministry we’ve all been assigned.  This further background knowledge gives us insight into what we are examining as we are being called to ascend to another reality in the climbing unto the mountain of the Lord.

Understanding the ministry of suffering

The further we move into the day of the lord, the more resolute and determine we must become in embracing the virtue of suffering and the challenges presented to us in the spirit of joy and the fruit of the spirit as a necessary divine requirement in the preparation to be better equipped for the service of the ministry of Christ and his kingdom.

2 Corinthians 4:17

16Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. 17For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. 18So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

The word suffering among most Christians today has been tagged with a negative unacceptable experience. Yet, when we consider scripture carefully we see how the lord use the ministry of suffering to refine and perfect his vessels of honor.

Suffering is not just about the lack of food, good clothing, money, nice house, the lack of education, job and so on. There’s [tribulation] suffering the lord has ordained and called his own into in an order to get the best of himself out of them.

The fact that Christians across the globe live in different political and socioeconomic realities, and to a large degree, those realities affect and shape their spiritual orientation and outlook of their faith. In order words, what some others consider as the norm in their part of the world may turn out to be persecution in another region or context.

Environment and perspective

By default, the environment we grew up plays a huge role in the shaping and the construction and formation of our lives orientation and general outlook. Here’s a good example, a believer who grew within a war zone environment, and a Christian who developed within an environment of peace, financial security and wealth will certainly not have the same faith perspective, insight to correct life’s value, and the preferred, operational value template and the opportunity to annex resources for productivity.

While this may not be categorized as a general principle, the fact remains that the realities of these two groups are a world apart, and that does impact on their life’s view and spiritual prism.

Another example I have personally noticed in the last 15 years or so of my stay in South Africa, having the opportunity to pioneer a fellowship, preach and teach in various churches within the provinces, I can confidently say that I’ve noticed a significant difference in the response system of the people to the gospel message.

Furthermore, there’s a unique character attitude many Christians display as they interact, perceive and even react to both the message and the messenger of the gospel from place to place. This concept I am relating to carries both a positive and a negative viewpoint that may not necessarily be seen or noticed on a face value relationship except the Lord opens one’s eyes to see it.

When you gather ministers of the gospel together in one place and give the task of preaching from the same text scripture, you are certainly going to get varieties of insight and interpretations, and that is true. However accurate is their revelation, you can rest assured that forty percent of what they might have said or taught are shaped directly or indirectly from the environment that shaped their perspective and life orientation.

This is a fact that cannot be denied. We are all products of our environment, either good or bad, and that’s the reason the Lord uses what is called a standardized knowledge of the spiritual [principle] truth to refine, balance or equalize our spiritual orientation so we don’t only reflect the experience of the environment that has shaped us, but rather see life and its various complex dealing through the eyes of Gods eternal design for us.

This simple, but, profound truth helps us to precisely interpret the whole concept of our lives, either from a positive or negative experience through the prism of the kingdom of God. Regardless of where we came from and the color of our skin or gender, our spiritual lens view changes to the father’s eternal designed blueprint for. Whether we are born with royal blood, or we are from an African linage of the slave trade, it really does not matter again, as our stature and identity in the kingdom of God bring us all back to that point of our true original state in the father, the state of sonship.

Unfortunately, not many understand this concept of life within the Christian faith, and therefore, the Lord often use certain parallel kingdom value principles like tribulation, or even temporal lack to awaken the spiritual faculty of his own chosen people, and to also to help them create that sense of spiritual understanding in measuring up to that spiritual standard in accessing the portal of humility and the rest of the fruit of the spirit that truly enriches their soul.

We are told that we can only enter the kingdom through much suffering. This suffering is the glorious pathway into the life and virtue of kingdom culture. Whatever way or condition we’ve been naturally born, or whatever place or location we maybe current located, if we’ve not been through the access point of suffering, the experience of our spiritual orientation will certainly not be completed or lopsided. Therefore, it will be highly challenging for you or me to relate and understand the key spiritual building components for the kingdom life and its representation.

There’s a single binding principle that allows every member of the church of Christ to see and interact with each other according to the stipulation of the ministry of the tree of life. Before we can truly and effectively access the glorious life of the kingdom, the valley conditions of our lives must be filled up, the mountains must be made plain, and the uneven roads must be straightened out. These are dimensions of ideological beliefs and standards we’ve inherited that must be given up to the new life and culture of the kingdom we are entering.

Everyone whose desire to ascend into the reality of true kingdom lifestyle must come through this doorway of tribulation. The wealthiest people within the body of Christ have their own seasons of suffering. My point is, this is not about the lack of money. Spiritual suffering is not poverty and poverty is not spiritual suffering.

A believer can amass all the wealth of this world but he or she is completely poor unto the true riches of the kingdom. There’s a poverty every believer must experience, regardless of how rich they may be, they must constantly seek this dealing of the spirit from the father to keep and maintain the sense of spiritual wealth in their journey towards the tree of life.

THE PURPOSE OF TRIBULATION, AND THE STANDARDIZED KNOWLEDGE OF ACCESSING THE KINGDOM OF GOD. PART 2

The purpose of tribulation and the standardized knowledge of accessing the kingdom of God

A preparatory footing for the

manifestation of the third-day ecclesia.

PART TWO

The ministry of the third day

The ministry of the third day is the platform that introduces and ushers the body of Christ into the prophetic scope of both experiencing and manifesting the unfolding realities of the dawning of the kingdom age, which ultimately demands perfected lifestyle character and governmental capability from all of us. The current activity on earth today is being driven by powerful forces that have an in-depth understanding of both the protocol and governing system of the kingdom.

It is becoming clearer that there are only two main agendas defining the present activity of men across the globe even though we’ve always known this. Whatever secret idea or intention of men’s activity in the past maybe, it is now obviously clear that the present events of humans at all spheres are being streamlined to the battlefield of two kingdoms.

From global economic transactions to geopolitical negotiations, to the policies that define our children’s healthcare, education, marriages, and family values, are all now being redesigned and streamlined to serve either of these two agendas; that of the kingdom of darkness, or that of the kingdom of light. Kingdoms, either of darkness or light, operates through powerful principles, systems, values standard, and preferred model of lifestyle that seeks to advance their desired objectives.

The implication of this is, if the church does not swiftly shift from its current weak, operational base, and begin to fully function on a higher premise of God’s kingdom administrative culture, she will certainly remain irrelevant in the current apostolic emerging reality of the kingdom of God.

The wrong footing and emphasis built by church tradition and denominationalism for decades have made it extremely challenging for many to either comprehend the desired blueprint of what is known as the kingdom life or accept what it entails to process its experience it in its true essence.

Changing perspective to tribulation

It is my desire to, therefore, use the few outlined principles and model values shared in this resource material to further demonstrate how the lord, in most cases, uses various mains, but in particular, the ministry of tribulation or suffering to both define, refine, and leverage the understanding of the corporate church in bringing an in-depth prophetic perspective in showing us how we should view and experience tribulation, even as the cultural lifestyle of the kingdom is being formed within us.

I know that as you come across the term suffering, many are already quick to judge or dismiss the rest information yet to be read. I would, however, encourage you to please continue reading so you have a holistic paradigm of what the Spirit is communicating through this passage. There are realms of truth from the eternality of the Spirit that are currently open and restore to the Body of Christ in order to clearly make sense of the present demand of the Spirit, and deal with the growing, complex challenges of the present darkness.

Either we accept or reject the notion of suffering as a divine tool for perfection, it is a deep experiential reality, many of us can speak of extensively. Yet, our perspective of suffering like mine in the past, are usually not in coherence to sound biblical knowledge. Many see and react to their challenges from a defeated, victim mentality even as believers. Yet, we are already told in the word of God that tribulation will come for the word sake. This simply means that if you are a Christian, and you love the word and practice what it says, you will be persecuted. This is one truth many would have so wished is not in the word of God.

The word of God must be seen and understood through a correct, biblical perspective, regardless of how it sounds or seem to us. There are some who today believe that God is not that cruel to allow them to go through certain difficulty. The presumed knowledge or idea we brought into our salvation experience with due correction has done a lot of damage to developing the right spiritual template.

Eighty-five percent of the entire scripture speaks and deals with the issue of suffering or tribulation as it is called in some cases. Yet, ninety percent of today’s Christians don’t feel comfortable talking about the idea of suffering as a legitimate message of the new testament church.  It is highly critical we have a clear, well defined, balanced biblical perspective with regards to any issue or subject or else we will be making the mistake of presuming the mind of the Lord in terms of his desire and expectation for us.

We want to explore the word of God and the Spirit of truth in order to have a broad base revelatory insight of the demand of the Lord for us, even from the very footing of our first approach to salvation up until the present orientation we have with regards to approaching this next phase of kingdom demand and engagement.  We shall later consider what the Lord has in mind when he allows us to be purified through the furnace of life. For now, let’s deal with some powerful, basic spiritual footing that needs adjustment as we get ready to move on with the lord to the next frontier of the father’s objective.

Readjusting foundational philosophy

In whatever manner, we’ve come to know, accept, or even identify with what we generally term as salvation is not really the issue, but as we make our way into the core reality of what is known as the kingdom life, we are certainly demanded to have the same quality spiritual base, or experience in order to both access and precisely comprehend the nature and cultural life of the kingdom.

Being born of the water and of the spirit is both experiential and symbolic in the sense that they open the pathway which initiates us into a lifetime journey of interacting and understanding the things that emanate from heaven’s domain.

Not even our Lord will be allowed into his assigned earthly ministry without the experience of baptism. His Baptism in Jordan opens up heaven for a release of divine knowledge and approval into realms and dimension that grants and allows him to bring creation back into the culture of spiritual redemption.

Defining standardization

Dictionary definition of standardization defines it as the practice of the process of implementing and developing technical standards. Standardization can help to maximize compatibility, interoperability, safety, repeatability, or quality. It can also facilitate the commoditization of formerly custom processes.

While some of these words may sound technical to some of us, they, however, help us to have a clearer definition and insightful understanding of the concept of integrated kingdom economy. The power of the shared kingdom culture only kicks into effect when there are a clear knowledge and insight of the driving system of the common faith and value we have in Christ. Kingdom culture is the parallel structure of thinking and existence within the community of Saints. Any other thought pattern, regardless of how ancient or contemporary are subservient to the identity and nature of the new creation reality.

There’s only one doorway

Everyone entering the kingdom of God cannot enter through his or her own personal experience or standard without following the due process and value standard. There’s only one doorway into the glorious life of the kingdom, and as I have explained that access point is the revelation of Christ. The revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ, which is also known as the Ministry of sonship is the universal platform and language by entering and interacting with the reality and demands of the kingdom.

As we know, not everyone has experienced this sound biblical knowledge of Christ due to various reasons. Thus, the Lord uses certain challenges if you will bring his church to a standardized measure that allows everyone to pass through the same doorframe of understanding in experiencing and appreciating the cultural life of the kingdom of God.

We all are granted the same access to the things of the father. But not all of us share the same access point. Our access points are defined by the unique construct of our spiritual orientation and exposure. Why? Well, just as the way we are introduced to life generally differs, the same principle applies to the way and manner we are introduced to the life of God and the things of the spirit.

Therefore, the manner we’ve been programmed to see, relate and respond to life and its activity both from the natural or spiritual point certainly will differ from each other, and the reason for this can be immediately traced to the value structure of our spiritual foundation and its orientation.

The role of a spiritual environment

The environment of our spiritual development plays a key role in shaping our belief system, operational values, and life expectations. As a natural environment, can enhance or deter the success and productivity of life so is it with a spiritual environment. Who you are today has been greatly influenced by the climatic environment you were born into. As the natural environment continues to affect who we are, so does the spiritual environment.

As individuals, families, and communities can be hindered from accessing certain breakthrough spiritual realities, so equally can an entire city, region or nation can be blocked or blind from accessing the speakings and frequency of the father for a given season due to their spiritual ignorance or location in accessing the speaking of heaven.

Engaging with entities and forces that represent the inflow or outflow of spiritual activity within a city or region is one of the core mandates of a true prophet. The inflow of knowledge and wisdom as spiritual tools for the building of the intention of the father first requires men and women who are living upon the mountain of the lord over their regions of location.

In my study and observation, I discovered how our Lord engaged with people and entities as he approaches specific regions and locations. In most instances, what takes place within a sphere is not really the issue, but those seated at the gate of representation. This concept of engaging people’s spirit based on their territorial location is an arm of the governmental grace that we need to revisit if we are going to effectively shift regions into a new spiritual environment that will equally empower them to achieve what has been predestined for them.

As natural climate places a huge role in the kind of fruits, crops and vegetables planted and harvested in a geographical region, so it relates to the reality of the spiritual climate. As one moves from place to place, one began to realize how certain people are easily open to the things of the kingdom while on the other side of the divide is a completely different story of rejection and sometimes persecution of those bearing the message of the kingdom of God.

When the truth, we preach or teach is hugely influenced by the reality of our immediate environment, it hinders and limit us from developing a broader governmental prophetic perspective to embrace the greater theme of the message of the kingdom.

The message of the kingdom is the yardstick standard and melting point of all spiritual orientation and standard. In other words, if our concept of discipleship training is centered around what our Lord Jesus Christ calls the gospel of the kingdom or the everlasting gospel as proclaimed in the book of revelation, we will certainly be at the center core of spiritual truth and its present emphasis.

This is a huge subject that I will love to expand on as we step into the next phase of divine engagement. However, I want to zero on a different side that should give us a bit of opening into this message. One out of several things that differentiate a person’s spiritual experience from another is the weight of the cross they bear, and the scar of suffering acquired on their journey to the mountain of the lord.

Both the value standard and perspective of life within the culture of the kingdom is completely different to that of the one raised within a Christian circle taught only to see life from two prisms, the positive and the negative. The footing of our spiritual orientation is merely designed to cause us to react negatively to what may seem negative and of course, positive to what or a person who sounds positive around us. We may never learn to develop and embrace the right capacity the Lord has planned for our spiritual construction and value system. Seeing life through the eyes of the lord is not an easy thing to do, especially when our faith has been orientated to see and respond from a certain religious or limited perspective.
