YOUR GIFT IS NOT ENOUGH FOR EFFECTIVE MINISTRY

 By Isaiah-Phillips Akintola

When a relationship that ought to effectively drive our corporate, assigned prophetic activity is merely built on the peripherals of some humanistic, civil, politically correct ideology, we can be rest assured that we are not ready to confluence as Christ regents in matters of kingdom civilization and engagement for the redemption of creation.

If Church leaders are afraid to speak truth to themselves, how can we corporately speak truth to the powers that be? While it is highly critical that we learn to be respectful and civil with each other, it is, however, more critical we learn of truth and to speak the truth openly and cautiously to each other so we can corporately grow in the unity of the faith according to sound, biblical injunction. The fear of being rejected for speaking truth to each other is a clear sign that our understanding of the input of the ministry of the Saints to each other is still very shallow and immature to say the least.

I am afraid to declare that such kind of relationship will never produce the in-depth, intended objective of the Spirit, regardless of how powerful we may individually move in our ministry gifts. Ministry gift is not what perfects the saints; it is of rather the experiential life and nature that shapes the wineskin that houses the gifts and their various functional capacities in the community. Gifts without the maturing of wineskin will do more damage to the construction and perfection of the ecclesia.

Jesus, at the age of 12 was already super gifted but had to submit to the life-process of maturing and perfecting the wineskin that will ultimately house and effectively express his gift. I have met many gifted folks who are yet to be matured in the quality of life that can carry and dispense what they’ve been gifted with.

To build a ministry or relationship from the standpoint of a powerful gift without the essential character quality lifestyle to regulate and dispense such a gift is a setup for the manifestation of the spirit of pride that will ultimately lead to destruction.

This is one of the reasons Paul warned Timothy not to commit spiritual things to [immature] novice. Being gifted without a refined character to carry and represent such gift is one of the most dangerous things than can happen to you as a Christian.

The need to go through seasons of spiritual development, coupled with real-life challenges is indeed helpful in shaping and imprinting the right character qualities needed in operating our gifts. I was a highly gifted person that was so obvious to many around me, but the Lord brought me to a place where he paralyzed that gift for a season because he needed to work on certain blind spots of my life that I could not see not accept even when I was shown by others.

A significant hindrance to our corporation as gifted leaders in the Body of Christ is center around pride and insecurity. When we are yet to learn, as ministers of the gospel the significance of the ministry of the Saints, we cannot effectively function in our individual ministries to the world and creation.

Our definition of ministry is entirely out of biblical order and priority. We judge and approve each other based on gifts, influence and material acquisition and not on the level of spiritual experience and maturity.

There are people I have met on my journey of spiritual apostolic transition, including young Millennials who are still in the thirty-fold reality of the understanding of spiritual things, who have tried to undermine my prophetic assignment because they cannot find around me those material things they’ve been asked to look for when a so-called ‘seasoned apostle or prophet’ stand to speak. In most cases when I feel like giving them a piece of my heart in rebuke, the Lord often correct me not to do so, because that would mean that I am subjecting myself to their ungodly, carnal opinion.

Our measuring standard and values of spiritual matters need to be drastically readjusted if we are ever going to enter the prophetic scope of divine engagement; the correction of sight must be a major priority for many of us particularly here in Africa. The condition of poverty propelled through the false gospel of mammon and materialism has almost destroyed the right footing and template of sound spiritual relationship and leadership in the Body of Christ.

There’s a company of individual’s heaven has prepared and sent that will help us embrace the process of the maturation of our gifts and wineskin, but we need humility and the spirit of mutual submission to awaken our hearts to see and embrace them. Regardless of how gifted you are in this season, you need to come to terms with the current emphasis of the Lord, which is, all gifts must be collapsed into the character lifestyle of the Spirit of Sonship.

This means that the Lord desires a corporate man in the earth that will function in the ascended power of the ascended Christ. Gifts were only given to the Body of Christ when Christ ascended on high.  Therefore, only those with the ascended character lifestyle of Christ can function in the full potential of their callings and gifts. The emphasis of the Lord for this hour is a lifestyle that is correctly configured to house not just our gifts but to understand the humanity of others even as we seek to connect with their spirituality for effective ministry.

This lesson will assist us to discern others, particularly leaders beyond just the operation of their gifts. The anointing is a seal of our calling and assignment, but to effectively function in the anointing, we also need to be developed in the Spirit of wisdom and understanding such that our insight and knowledge regarding other folks can tamper with matured ministry of mercy and grace. The ministry of mercy and grace are the trophies of our victory through the journey of accurate transition of our gift and callings. When we are able to finally see people the way the Lord sees them, then, we are able to relate and flow in the spirit of mercy and grace as we corporately share hearts and gifts together for the kingdom advancement.

To engage with a well matured, apostolic [value system] ministry on this third day, the church, especially, its leaders and the elders must learn the routine of handling necked truth with wisdom, mercy and grace without being ashamed of each other’s weakness of failure. One of the principal characters of truth is that it exposes the very core of our being, and when we are truly open to others and their gifts, we will not only see their ability, but we shall also see and share in their disabilities, and this is highly critical in the principle of relationship in administering our ascended ministry gifts.

If we are unable to effectively manage the weaknesses and exposures of each other’s blind spots and spiritual defects, we are merely playing church and peddling with things meant for mature elders, seers, prophets, and watchmen at the gate. It’s about time the church and its leadership leaves behind childish ways and thinking.

When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me. 12 For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known. 1 Corinthians 13: 11-12

FROM THE SHADOW TO LIGHT

THE WELL AND THE SAMARITAN CHURCH

By Isaiah-Phillips

Prophetic spectrum to current affairs

Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again… John 4:13

WHO WILL STAND AND SPEAK?

The church of the Lord globally is currently in the turning point of a new spiritual era that requires we confront things we’ve been avoiding and hiding within the deformed and veneered, commercial, religious system of our time. There’s an urgent need to precisely answer some of the most crucial questions, members of the Body of Christ and society are generally asking, particularly, regarding the overreached, abusive nature of what is accepted as spiritual representation.

In this article, I intent to draw your attention to an important scripture many are quite familiar but as the Spirit of truth impresses this scripture to my heart a few days back, I begin to witness a new divine emphasis and direction with regards to the demand of the Father for the deliverance of his Church from the hands of those the Bible calls peddlers of the word of God.

There’s nothing more dangerous than to be spiritually abused, and it becomes even more deadly when it is done with the bible and in the name of Jesus Christ. While many may continue to deny the reality of leadership deficit, deception, and spiritual abuse in the Body of Christ, yet, it is obvious that the Church of Christ globally is being drained and taken advantage of by those I call commercial gospel peddlers.

The story of the Samaritan woman at the well brings to light many things we should carefully examine and highlight as the Lord continues to speak in line with the present reformation and restoration of his Church. This subject is further amplified in the account of the gospel of John chapter 5 about the story of the temple pool at Bethseda. the Falsehood at the center of this great capitalist, commercial, motivated, church system is driven by the blind, crippled, and impoverish lives, despirate for some kind of a spiritual intervention.

John chapter 5:1-6

Sometime later, Jesus went up to Jerusalem for one of the Jewish festivals. Now there is in Jerusalem near the Sheep Gate a pool, which in Aramaic is called Bethesda and which is surrounded by five covered colonnades. Here a great number of disabled people used to lie—the blind, the lame, the paralyzed. One who was there had been an invalid for thirty-eight years. When Jesus saw him lying there and learned that he had been in this condition for a long time, he asked him, “Do you want to get well?”

THE WELL DUG BY MEN

When a well dug under the inspiration of God for a season, which has elapsed continue to be used as the current voice and direction of the Spirit, it becomes an idolatrous system. The scripture said regarding Moses the servant of the Lord that he kept the veil on his face while the glory that used to shine from his face had faded away. This false sense of attachment to what has become obsolete, redundant, and irrelevant in the prophetic calendar of the Spirit is a big issue that must be addressed if we must step into the new day of the Lord, and I’ll like to address this as the Lord will give me utterance in the light of his present truth.

This is the moment of confrontation and intervention that demands that we are exposed to a higher [intense] degree of Christ brilliance at a level that will reveal every form of shadow within and outside the parameters of our existence.

The standard is, we serve a God in whom there is no variableness nor the shadow of turning. In other words, the variations of the fallen, human ideologies, cultures, the system that sought to eclipse our minds from the original purpose and destiny of the Father for us is starting to fade away under the dawning of this increasing light of Christ shining from the surface of the stream of life we are invited to drink.

This is the dawning of the third day prophetic activity of the Spirit of the Lord; a day of the unprecedented revelation of God’s light and glory that will expose and blind every form of shadow in and around of the world. We’ve now been invited to a new sphere of the revelation in our journey towards maturity in Christ, who will be making his appearance within the religious system of what had kept us all bond or limited from entering the full reality of what we’ve been destined for before time began.

The more we see and honestly embrace the current illuminating light of heaven, the more the shapes and images of human shadows and influences in our thought pattern over the years, begins to shatter even as Christ becomes more magnified in us. In Christ, there is no influence of earthly, carnal reflections. Last year we spoke about the nearness of the kingdom and how we ought to prepare for this so, we don’t get cut up unprepared and unawares.

THE NEARNESS OF THE KINGDOM

The nearness of the kingdom of God is the nearness of the divine light of heaven, ordained to remove every form of false light that have shaded and shape our minds from stepping into kingdom lifestyle. The day of breaking away from the silhouetted nature of power, religious forms and shapes men have falsely embraced. The time has come for us to embrace the reality of truth which is often painful because we will need to be confronted by the blinding light of heaven. Every form of shadow within the spiritual structure of our existence must now give way to the glorious brightness of Christ light emerging from the dawn of this new kingdom Age.

The purity of hearing come through the level of light we expose our soul and spirit too. To the degree, we embrace this present light of the Christ is to the level we are going to see and walk in the glorious light of what we’ve been called to represent. Shadow is defined as a dark area or shape produced by a body of coming between rays of light and a surface. Rather than producing light we’ve been producing shadows due to the lingering [human system] darkness still present and alive within us.

The light of heaven only reflects what is in the human heart; when the heart is filled with falsehood and lies, you can be rest assured that whatever form of light found within such a space will not produce a fruit that comes from the very life of God. The light the soul produces is a light that is born out of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and it will never bring you into the realm of divine truth which brings deliverance and reform to the total man. When there’s a willingness to face the reality before us as the ministry of Christ light increases, what then happens is that this light goes way beyond the power of illumination into becoming transformative.

THE CHURCH AT THE WELL

As the Father brought my attention to the life of the Samaritan woman at the well, I began to gain fresh insight to a parallel truth that speaks directly to the condition of the present-day church as a company of people operating within the system of shadow. The present, active reality of shadow ministry is more dangerous than darkness itself, in the sense that a shadow gives is a false reflection. A shadow is a refraction of light upon a dark image or surface which is an operation of deception. Only the Father carries the technology to produce light out of darkness.

On the other hand, man can produce an image out of another shape through the operation of a shadow, and in fact, this is the current position in many churches today. Many have produced some forms of images that are given the power to ‘talk’ out of false light being offered to the people, and those lights have produced some form of temporary relief and therefore, millions have become addicted to this temporary light designed to ultimately destroy them.

While I am trying not to be too technical with the example, I cannot but stress this point of light, shadow, false wells dug by men for spiritual consumption. The parallel reality of what was witnessed at Jacob’s well between Christ Jesus and the Samaritan woman with the present state of today’s church is so profound that need critical scrutinization.

Water can reflect the precise image of the one who comes to the stream, but not everyone is truly prepared to wait for the calmness of the water to reveal an image. Most have come to the well because they are thirsty and desperate; they need a quick solution to get them out of their needs. Due to the mode of material and financial survival many lives in, they hardly can see what the Lord is trying to show them at the well.

Secondly, the life of the Samaritan woman at Jacob’s well, typifies many of us regarding how our mindsets have been negatively shaped and have been framed through the years of rigorous religious practice and life’s challenges — this woman who is a type of today’s church who has come to accept a particular way of lifestyle as her primary source life existence even though such a source does not really minister to the very inner realities of her needs and challenges.

Further still, the Samaritan woman, beyond the fact that she had a significant dosage of religion, mixed with a long time, abusive relationship, combined with her own traditional belief strongholds, yet had a flicker of inner [light] awareness of a need for some different type of ‘water’ that can wash her and quench her inner thirst.

AN OPEN CONVERSATION

She was willing to open herself to the truth when confronted with the inner reality of her true self which is very rare today. Many of us, including those who claim to be in the forefront of what the Spirit of the Lord is doing, is filled with deception, we can hardly stand being honest to ourselves and others.

The greatest lie is when we begin to lie to ourselves just because we don’t want others to see us as weak, poor, uneducated, uninformed, or even spiritually blind. Following humans and religious folks dread being observed to be wrong, regardless of the issue. They would instead continue to support what is false and abusive just because they don’t want others to them, but we told you that you’re wrong from the start.

The Samaritan woman at the well seems to have come to the end of herself for two main critical reasons, one, she was willing, to be open and honest with Christ. Secondly, she recognized that the well, she’s been coming to drink from do not satisfy her true, inner need as much as the good does provide specific temporal provisions.

This [Church] woman was willing to exchange her seemingly default dependence and sustenance which always demand her traveling daily to the well for this new concept of talking well standing before her. Many may not appreciate what this woman was confronted when someone suddenly stood before her and claimed he is the living water she needs.  Of course, you will expect her to fight, froze or flight, but she was willing to listen and be honest as she engages in this new season of her life.

Many of us have grown so accustomed to the daily journey of going down to Jacob’s well to fetch water that only gives us temporary pleasure or satisfaction. We have been wrongly wired to co-depend on some kinds of religious substance, people who claimed they represent God in our lives, religious rituals, our customs and tradition, our workplace, our children, our spouses. To some, is their friends, parents, what the media says about them, what the politicians promised them, and the list continues.

This is the reality of the religion called Christianity today, mostly in American and the African set-up by the church. There are all kinds of alternatives today that have replaced the correct position of Christ and his assignment in our lives, particularly, within the community of what we call church. There’s no doubt that the idea and the look of the type of church we are building today are not better than Jacob’s well this woman kept returning to, hoping to find lasting sustenance.

WHEN THE WELL NO LONGER MEET YOUR SATISFACTION

There’s no doubt that this well met some essential needs in her life and of course, that’s the reason she kept coming back, but this well dug by man cannot meet the very core need of her. Just as this woman connected Jacob’s well to important aspects of our custom and tradition, which is a big deal to her, many of us to have chosen to remain connected to certain places, people or circumstance both physically and mentally just for the fact that those people or places are directly or indirectly related to our tradition, nationality,  former way of life, even if those things or people are abusive, we remain there. These things or individuals have become our coping method and to some degree, our definition of spirituality, this is what I call the Samaritan church.

The Samaritan church is well dug by great icons; renowned men and powerful and highly skillful women, individuals who fought and defended specific cause for the advancement of society. Some of them were a significant voice in their time who did great things in the name of God, and we’ve built a towering image of memorials to remember, and this is good. However, these individuals are no longer alive in the new dynamics of your needs and challenges.

They might be able to inspire faith, courage, and determination in pressing towards your ordained destiny, and that’s all they can do with the lingering memory of their past achievement in you. You need to zero into the mind of the Lord for this moment of your life; you must seek what the Spirit of the Lord is saying regarding his prophetic strategy in dealing with the current situation.  Drinking from dead wells in the name of custom, tradition, and past experiences that have long become obsolete to the present demand of the Spirit is a soul-tie.

LEAVING THE OBSOLETE INSTRUCTION

There are many past experiences, individuals, and events that have become wells we keep returning to, hoping we will get the same feeling, experience, or even answer the people of the past received. Therefore, we become more fixative on the ministry of revival, instead of redemption and reformation. Our pursuit for revival is more about trying to experience what happened in the days of some great revivalist.  The fact that heaven gave the power to some individuals to dig wells for their time and generation does not mean such well will satisfy the complex needs of today.

Divine instruction is crucial to relevancy and advancement to the frontier of divine engagement.  How many lives, ministries and church are stuck today on the visionary word given to a vessel of God some hundred years ago? There are countless numbers of churches out there that have not revolved with the shift in prophetic seasons. Many of the denominations and traditional churches began with a leading, prophetic position of accuracy. Many of the founders and leaders of those churches had God for their times and season but has times and season changes, many refused to move on with the Father as he demands a change of their perceptions and wineskin for the next announced season.

The stocked to the first voice they had from the Lord. They are like Abraham, who had the initial voice of the Lord and was obedient to the voice but on like Abraham, when God spoke to him the second time regarding the same issue, he was able to hear and allow his zeal to commit murder. Many had the voice of the Lord the first time, but never kept their ears and eyes open to receive further instruction and directives from the Lord. Many did not wait to listen to the elapsing time of a prophetic word. Their ministry has killed more people in the name of zeal the redeem or restore.   The well they dug in the name of ‘a ministry’ is today a blockage for a new generation to see and experienced the living well standing before them.

The more people travel to these wells of Jacob, hoping to experience the same intervention of the past, the more people get weary, tired and dissatisfied even though they dare not show their weariness. They must continue to make the trip to Jacob’s well. The fact that God met us in space and point in the past does not make such a spot the permanent resident of God. The Father is nomadic; his plan and desire are to reveal himself where ever his people gather and find their voice.

In the scripture, their various types of wells and streams built at various times and seasons that speaks directly and specifically to the peculiar need of such a season. duplicating such instructive prophetic words will not only be a violation and abuse to divine instruction but a manifestation of idolatry.  If we don’t understand the context of the speakings and instruction of the Lord for a season, we will make the mistake of trying to repeat an experience that was designed for a season in time, and that will make us the enemy of God.

New spiritual emphasis demands that we shift and change our modus-operandi if we must remain highly relevant to the movement of the Spirit. While some will need to move from our former position of life due to the evil influence and resistance to change, others might not need to leave their community if the leaders are willing to change their garments and wineskin to the current demand of the Spirit.

THE POWER OF LEARNING BY ASKING THE RIGHT QUESTION

THE PROPHETIC MINISTRY.jpg

THE POWER OF LEARNING BY

 ASKING THE RIGHT QUESTION

The principle of undressing for redressing

BY ISAIAH-PHILLIPS AKINTOLA

Do you know that your destiny could be hanging on the kind of question you’ve been asking yourself for decades? You need to move from the ‘why to the what’ question if you desire to see a change in your life, career, and relationships

Many have failed in the past, including me to some degree, not because we are not born intelligent, but because we are deficient in asking and answering questions. Asking questions has their advantages and of cause their disadvantage if wisdom is not allowed to guide.  Questions can provoke as they can inspire. When a question is cynical, then you need the highest grade of wisdom and intelligence to effectively respond, so you’re not entrapped. Yet, there can be no development without asking questions, particularly the right ones. The technological advancements made today are a direct result of questions asked.

Questions can open a new frontier of knowledge, creativity, development, and productivity if we know how to ask the right questions. One of the primary ways God trains and develop his disciples, particularly, those who will be entering the prophetic arena, is through asking them a series of questions. The Bible is filled with chapters and verse where man is not the one asking questions, but God himself doing the asking.

The purpose of asking and answering questions is to test intelligence. The word of God is filled with questions and answers, and if we learn how to process, question either from a deep philosophical point or from an ascended spiritual point, we have the edge in dealing with the highly complex realities of life.  The technic, or should I say, the philosophy of asking and answering a question is one of the most important keys to success in any field of existence, yet, it is the list taught in schools, and regrettably, in most Church communities today.

The issue of the understanding question and knowing ‘the how’ to process them before answering is something I’ve discovered as one of the most important keys to human development and transformation yet; it is increasingly becoming less understood by many, particularly the 21st-century society.  Many of us have been asking the wrong questions all our lives and that’s the reason we still seem to be stocked in the same old spot of mentality.  An immature person does not know nor understands how to process life’s question, particularly, when they are spiritually based. I grew up asking questions but unfortunately, they were the wrong questions.

Many fallen humans began life on the wrong footing, but that does does not mean that the good plan and purpose of the Father for our lives has changed because we asked the wrong question. God’s plan for us are eternally set to bring us to the place of his ordained prophetic program but we need to know how the principle of life works in order to set in motion the right value system that aligns us to effective living.

You cannot start your life or the life of your children by asking the wrong questions as assume you will end up in the destined planned of the Father for your life.  When your life begins with wrong influence, environment, people, challenges, seemingly failure, there’s every tendency that you start processing those challenges with the wrong emotion which is usually done by asking the why question. The question of why did my Father leave my Mom?  Why did my uncle rape me and my sister, why can’t I be smart like that other girl in my class? Why am I an orphan?  why didn’t I get the Job? Why do I keep going back to the same sin?

Due to asking the question of why, many today are faced with the grim dilemma of disappointment, discouragement, and suicide because they seem to be asking the wrong question. The principle of motivating yourself is edged on the concept of asking the right question. You can also be demotivated by either not understanding what is taking place around or within you, or simply asking the wrong question and listening effectively for to the correct answer.

The wrong question will never lead to the right answer. I am sure you’ve heard of the statement, there’s nothing like asking the wrong question, that may be true to a certain level, but if you genuinely desire to fast-track your destiny, you need to learn the art of asking the right question. This challenge, as I have noticed it is not just a secular human issue, but more of a spiritual one if we critically examine it.

How many times you’ve tried reading the Bible or process what a passage is saying, but you seem to be clueless understanding what the scripture is communicating? How many times have you tried praying, but seem not to hear any response from God? The challenge is not just about what we are seeking in terms of prayer but the context of how we frame our request before the Father. It is often about not asking the right question when engaging with the things of the Spirit.

The matters of the Spirit just like in the natural are based on how we intelligently process questions or problems. If your concept of treating life challenges either in marriage, school, or workplace is based on why and not what, there’s every possibility that you will not arrive at the correct answer, and you know what that means, the problem continues unabated.

THE TWO MOST IMPORTANT QUESTION

There are two most important questions you will ever ask in your journey of life, and they are the question of why and what.  How you view these two questions speaks a lot about knowledge, wisdom, and perspective to life. If your view of life is fixative on why? You will not only be spiritual and emotionally drained and be limited in your options of answers, but might also be psychologically and emotionally crippled from reaching your life full potential.

The what question gives you the insight of opportunity to see your life and its complex challenges or even the trials playing out on a daily basis as a real opportunity to turn failures into triumph than being a victim. The why question makes us a victim rather than an indeed engineered system solution. How you approach the subject of ‘why and what’ is as critical as understanding the essence of your existence. If have highlighted this point as an important pointer to moving towards that position the Father will have you and me come into in this next phase of our advancement in spiritual realities.

Let’s stop living our lives on the why me question, and start moving towards asking the Lord, what are you doing so I may align myself to your will. aligning your will to the Father’s divine purpose begins with knowing the what question. When the what question becomes clear, then you are ready to face any challenge, trial or need because you have a perspective on the problem or battle at hand. Many have given up before the breakthrough arrived, many have opted for separation and divorce before the breakthrough comes because they were building their expectation on why instead

HOW FIRM IS YOUR FAITH, AND HOW PREPARED ARE YOU TO DEFEND IT IN A SECULAR SOCEITY?

DEFEND-YOUR-FAITH

HOW FIRM IS YOUR FAITH, AND

HOW PREPARED ARE YOU TO DEFEND IT?

by Isaiah-Phillips Akintola

The father is allowing the New Age culture and philosophy of the days we live in to challenge and make demands on every aspect of what you claim to know or believe, to the level that you will almost begin to doubt even the very experience you once had with God in his presence or at the backside of the wilderness.

The society, many of us live, particularly here in Africa is still very much insulated from the brutal attacks and criticism confronting many of our Christian brethren in Europe, America, and a major part of the Arab world, and am afraid it’s only a matter of time before that flood of full-blown assault reaches our shoreline. My worry, however, is, how ready and prepared are we taking into the cognizance the weak, unbiblical promotion of what is termed Christianity today.

As long as what determines the major core of our Christianity still centers around personal economic breakthrough, am afraid, we cannot be fully prepared for this evil tide coming. As long as our ideology of Christian faith is still very much tide to our ancestral traditional beliefs and culture, we are no match for the flood of deception coming to sweep many away. For as long as our desire is to merely select what suit our narratives faith for our own self-center gain, we will certainly not be able to stand and challenge the issues of our day.

1 Peter 3:14-17
14 But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. “Do not fear their intimidation; do not be shaken. 15 But in your hearts sanctify Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to articulate a defense to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But respond with gentleness and respect, 16 keeping a clear conscience, so that those who slander you will be put to shame by your good behavior in Christ. 17 For it is better, if it is God’s will, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil.

What a template of truth that lays for us our marching order in engaging the 21st century, humanist, New Age society already knocking down many churches in the west. Unfortunately, I do not think many of our leaders see the urgency of this eminent battle coming to our shoreline of the church in Africa. Since we live in a borderless cyber world, we need to get our priority straight if we must be prepared to face this assault of hell.

This scripture outline for us what we need to do in terms of positioning ourselves as we respond to the sons of darkness. We will have to go beyond the equation of bible passages to knowing and understanding how to break down the principles and values of truth in a manner that allows us to effectively and strategically answer the hard question of the Pilate, Pharaoh, and the queen of Sheba approaching our kingdom space.

The presumptive and assumptions of Christian theology, and of course, the populace false sense of spirituality floating around many of our church communities in the last two decades or so, has cost the church dearly, particularly with the teens and young adult. The inability to define, and precisely articulate in clear terms what truth is, and how truth relates to their day to day choices and productivity are a major problem I have noticed. When Pilate asked Jesus Christ, what is the truth, he was actually echoing the general philosophical challenge the world of his day was faced with.

The lack of a logical sense and the spiritual base to correlate the entire Greek philosophy of spirituality in a powerful political and military dominance of the Roman empire was a major concern not just to Pilate, but to the greater philosophers and thinkers of the ancient world. This philosophical problem explained where the Greeks have so many gods that literally competes with human’s population just like the Hindu religion of India.

What further compounded this issue was the fact that some bunch of so-called illiterates who claimed to be the very custodian of the embodiment of the truth kept preaching and teaching everyone that Christ is the truth, and they were proving the facts of their message both in doctrine and through the power of signs and wonders. The early believers clearly understood the doctrine of the apostolic truth, and their lifestyle mirrored this truth for the rest of the world to see.

The unfortunate thing is, Pilate never waited for Jesus Christ reply to his question, I have no doubt that our Lord would have given him a full definition and explanation of who the truth is, and how he can connect to this truth as the only way, the only truth, and the only life to God the author of all things seen and unseen.

There’s no doubt society today, just as in the days of Pilate, are also in deep search for the answer to this great question, what is the truth? The question of what is the truth is both an ancient and contemporary question, but many Christian leaders do not really see the importance of the question as a powerful strategy to win the world back to Christ.

While we claim we know the answer to this great question, many, however, have stopped searching the word like the Bereans Christian for the right principle of conveying the mystery of truth to a blind world in a manner that can restore their sight. today, Spiritism and false beliefs have replaced the quest for sound, biblical knowledge that can offer the answer to a world in need to God. there are just too many in the church who have become religious Pharisees, meaning, they are merely professing a faith their heart and thought no longer follow.

To seek to accept or declare biblical truth that your own life’s values and philosophy does not agree with in practice is the highest level of self-delusion if you ask me. What makes the truth true to you I, not a matter of who preached, or taught it, it’s a matter of personal conviction.

Conviction is the footing of establishing truth within human conscience. When truth, or anything that sounds like the truth to you, finds its way into the human conscience it alters one’s perspective and belief. However, when biblical truth which is both written and revelatory by designed finds its root deep into the human heart, it redesigns conscience in a man to remove the fallen idea of how humans see right and wrong to how heaven defines truth.

We know that there are three compound words that hold Christianity together like a cord of sound spirituality; and they are faith, hope, and love. Each of these words defines the basis of how we see and relate both to Christ, his Church, and the world in general. If any of these three are not properly understood, and corporately flowed in relating to life and the various challenges thrown to us, we will, at some point begin to doubt our foundation and trust in what we believe.

One of the three compound words is faith, and personally, I think we still have a long way to go in truly understanding what faith actually means from God’s viewpoint. However, Hebrews chapter 6 informs us that faith is not abstract but rather substantial. If this is true which I know it is, how do we substantiate this truth with biblical facts in a manner that our faith does not stand in the knowledge and wisdom of men?

Indeed, faith is the [element] substance of things we hope for… and the very evidence of things not seen, the big question then will be, what defines and constitute the substantial evidence of such faith? Too many Christians, as a religious practice now and confesses what the scripture says, but in actual fact, their belief is actually established on something else.

This something else is that which family, society, friendship, or past circumstance that falsely establish within the subconscious. When our Lord Jesus Christ made this profound statement, these people worship me with the mouth, but their heart is far from me, he was establishing the basis of duality within a man’s ideology that says you confess Christ with your mouth but can also place your allegiance or philosophy somewhere else.

The reality is, the Lord is not seeking for a ritual of worship from his followers. In actual fact, he was seeking a concept of lifestyle individuals called worshipers, whose philosophy and culture of existence is firmly established around the very character nature of his person. Christ by design is the anointing, or the grace that enabled Jesus, the Son of man to function within the reality of what has been prophetically written about him.

The days we live demands we go beyond the veil of what we believe and confess, to the next realm of experiencing truth to the degree that the truth becomes the very philosophy and culture that drives the understanding of our interaction and engagement with every aspect of existence.

Don’t get me wrong, I am not suggesting that we will not be challenged; in fact, the very purpose of coming into this realm of truth is to be able to stand firm in the days where you and I will be challenged like Joseph in Egypt, and Daniel in Babylon.

Only they who know their God will be able to stand and do exploit in this new day. Remember, the scripture says the devil also believes and tremble, but such believe did not cause him to change his mind. A believe that carries no power to change our stand and position is a weak belief!

There are simply too many ‘truth’ being postulated out there without a concrete, solid foundation laid within the hearts of the community of the body of Christ to hold firm these revelatory, apostolic truths. Many members of our churches are starting to give in under the weight of some so-called revelation they’ve been running with without precise, solid footing to hold the such ‘truth’. You cannot build nor establish truth beyond the quality, strength of your foundation.

Revelatory truth is likened to building a house. You need to first establish certain biblical principles and values standard to solidify the foundation of what you intend to build before the main structure begins. The church likes to quote the end-result of a truth in the bible without first understanding the process and mechanism that makes such truth becomes a reality.

There are two concepts of truth in the word of God. The first is defined as a progressive principle, in other words, it requires that you take an action based on faith and believe while the second concept deals directly with the result of the first; meaning, the final manifestation.

We must shift from merely declaring the manifestation of the end-result of truth, and start understanding how to align ourselves with the values and process of truth so we can arrive at the point of matured understanding of the intended will and objective of Christ for us. this indeed is knowing the truth that will eventually set us from the assault of darkness. i hope this piece of truth will assist us from becoming serious with our spiritual journey.

LIFE IS A JOURNEY TOWARD FREEDOM
A LIFE TRANSFORMING ARTICLE.

By Isaiah-Phillips Akintola

If you are struggling to make sense why you seem stuck at a particular point of your life’s journey, and the inputs and efforts of your spirituality seem not to be yielding the expected, desired result, well don’t give up hope on yourself. I’ll recommend that you read this short article that should give you some clear perspective and motivation in moving forward towards your glorious destiny in Christ. This note is from my own personal life experience. I pray it minister life to you.

Introduction

Between past memory and a future hope, there’s a present reality of your life that is seemingly trapped in time; a time that is regulated by people and events you don’t have control over. The reality is, many of us were born into apparently negative environments, complex circumstances, and even families we never had the power of choice to choose, or influence their decisions and control over us, if we do, many of us will certainly have chosen an alternative route and environment of existence.

Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

This scripture in Jeremiah was made by the father himself towards his own children while they were still under the oppressive chain of their Babylonian captors. The condition or environment we find ourselves regardless of how we got there is in material in comparison to the eternal plan and purpose of the father for us. Human condition, irrespective of how terrible cannot stop nor alter the spoken, living promise of the father. however, our unbelieves and doubtful state of mind can stop and hinder us from entering the promised inheritance of the father for us.

This scripture according to Jeremiah 29:11 is a sure word that is eternally settled in bringing all who believe in Christ Jesus into their destined promised Land irrespective of their past or present condition. Yet, how we come into this reality of eternal truth is a complete different ball game because the dealings of the father for each of us are uniquely different from person to person and even region to region.

We may have a common faith and spiritual inheritance in Christ, however, the process of entering such inheritance differs in personal faith and spiritual experience, and that’s a very good thing to note. We have shared along this article before, but I sense many are still confused and in doubt about certain things with regards to their future destiny.

To understand our future is to have a keen prophetic insight and guiding wisdom into how our past has shaped our frame of thinking and perceptional insight. In other words, having keen knowledge of the reason why the father allowed certain circumstance to happen to us, or why certain unpleasant people were brought into our lives at certain seasons is a powerful spiritual position.

The ignorance of the sovereign nature of the father over his people is a major weapon in the hands of the enemy until this hour against the people of God. Satan has continued to capitalize on our blindness and lack of understanding towards the will of God by robbing us of entering the sphere of righteousness, peace, and joy in the kingdom.

Managing our past

Many of us like the children of Israel in some form of captivity would have doubted this promise according to Jeremiah 29:11. Why? We often allow the pain of our emotional state of mind to define and control our response not just to God but also to one another. Pain is a powerful tool we are yet to accurately understand and therefore, its negative influence has continued to work against our spiritual state of being.

To the level we understand our emotion is to the level we know ourselves, and to the degree we know ourselves is to the point we are able to submit to the desired, ordained process of the father for us in terms of embracing all the instruments and people placed across our path in helping to shape our destined purpose. Circumstance and people produce two things in every human, pain and joy. These two are powerful emotional instrument that can swing our lives in two different directions, it all depends on how we understand and effectively manage them accordingly.

If you study the characters of these two-emotional instrument you’ll realize that ‘pain’ usually reside within the thought realm of our past traumatic experience, while joy dwells in the anticipative realm of what is, or about to come.

One of the main reasons why we tend to fix our attention more on yesterday’s mistakes, pain, frustration, rejection, fear and doubt is because the negative emotions produced in our yesterday is usually more real and severe to the soul realm than to choose to invest our thought and emotion on a sense of joy that is yet unseen. One can argue that it takes more faith and courage to shift our frame of thinking from the usual position of playing the victim than to advance with a breakthrough attitude mentality.

This unfortunate character of submitting and accepting the victim narrative, negatively reinforces the desire to focus on the soul realm which is what the flesh and of course Satan desires of humans. This is a highly complex, lingering character that controls and manipulate the fallen Adamic nature of all humans.

The scripture said of Christ, because of the joy that was set before him, he endured the cross. Enduring the cross which is the total summary of our emotional pain, failures, persecutions, and disappointment becomes real when the emotion of joy overrides the reality of our past, and we can clearly see into the future outcome of what we are stepping into.

Embracing your future in freedom

The truth is none of us was designed to live in our past memory filled with disappointments and regrets, but in a now future, defined by vision, faith, hope, courage, and trust in Christ who knew you before events and circumstance ever happened to you. The fact is, those horrible circumstances of our past or even present condition are all designed for a reason that can only be comprehended when there’s a precise alignment of our insight and judgement to that of Christ eternal blueprint for our existence.

My own life experience

Comprehending life’s situation and people around us is a powerful spiritual position and strategy that greatly enhances our acceleration into the future. It’s amazing how we can grow up in certain frame of thinking that could either limit or enhance our motivation in becoming fulfilled in life.

There are so many things we actually thought we had full knowledge, insight and understanding into as Christians. But the fact is, our knowledge, which may be theoretical or even theologically have not been effectively synchronized with the eternal intention of the father in terms of his prophetic agenda for us. Knowledge is laudable, but the wisdom that releases applicable understanding should be more desirable in all things.

This is my own testimony like many; I experienced what it felt like to be dropped down with a broken limb like Mephibosheth the son of Jonathan. My life’s accident and cognition impediment affected my state of judgement to the degree that it altered my image and identity. Rather than being drowned deep into the love of the father ordained to save and protect me, I rather hated everything that love meant and represent to me because of those who misrepresent the love of God around me.

I chose rather to live in fear, insecurity, doubt, worry and unbelief. Hate and bitterness becloud my heart and identity instead of love, mercy and forgiveness. I allowed myself to be consumed by fear and the opinions of everyone to the degree that their views shaped and determined my actions and reactions even after I have given my heart to Christ.

Introduction to God’s love

You see, I really do not understand back then the true meaning of accepting Christ. I did what everyone else did in terms of their religious and church service obligations; no one told me that there’s another journey of salvation that is a continual, renewal and developmental experience within my soul faculties. I struggled with deep pain, frustration, and anger until I came to the end of myself. Coming to the end of yourself is a phrase we’ve adopted in kingdom community that means a person have tried and used everything that can be tried in terms of human resource, wisdom, and strength to resolve a problem yet without a lasting result.

I was then introduced to the love of God, which was more of an experience within my soul, I mean the faculty that defines my behavioral character and pattern of reasoning. Until this love of Christ began to reveal myself to me in the light of ascended biblical truth, I never realized how damaged and lost I was even in my proclamation to be a Christian.

I discovered that the love of God, at least in my own case, is an unfolding journey of revelation; a revelation that invites us to another various spheres of spiritual experience  trust, and confidence in the knowkedge of the fatherhood of God, which is one of the most difficult aspects in coming into the true meaning of kingdom centered love.

To know or accept the love of God is to first accept the fatherhood of God. Knowing God as Abba is one of the most difficult spiritual revelation because of the degree of the damaged, dysfunctional stronghold realities locked up within the human soul realm. When we pass the stage of knowing and accepting the fatherhood of God’s love, another portal is opened for another realm of spiritual experience that leads us further into the mystery of the eternal love of the father for us.

This acquired knowledge and understanding, then takes us further into another veil of divine invitation to share in the experiential life of the sovereign nature of the father over our lives and others regardless of the condition or circumstance around us. It is from this point that the scales begin to drop from our eyes to see ourselves and things the way they truly are. The false beliefs, rejections, fear, doubt, self-assertions, self-protection, self-promotion, and self-defense, we’ve built for many years begins to reveal themselves and begin to collapse before us.

This is the point where heaven begins to reintroduce you to yourself. For the very first time you begin to see the strongholds and walls you’ve indirectly or directly allowed others, or even yourself to build within and around you.

The experience that makes us effective

Friends, while it is necessary for us to know the love of God by what we have been told in the scripture, or what has been revealed to us by revelation. However, our measure of the reality of the father’s love in our lives can only be identified by how much of the soul life we have given up for the Spirit of God to gain ascendance over our entire existence.

We can have all the revelation and insight about the love of God in our developmental spiritual stages. We might be able to soundly and effectively write, preach, and teach about the mystery of God’s everlasting love. If, however, the strong romantic feelings about our negative past experiences, and the agonies of yesterday’s disappointment still remain and holds our psyche in captivity, am afraid, we cannot truly claim that we have freedom, or have sincerely entered into the experiential sphere of a lifestyle governed by the divine love of the father. Yes, we may abundantly be benefiting from the fruits of the father’s love, but we will lack the power to comprehend and effectively reciprocate such love to others even when we desire to do so.

What we consciously give up in the sacrifice of our feelings and the emotional psychology of pain that directly relates to the traumatic challenges, failures, and disappointments we experienced in the past is the due price required in advancing into that ascending, revelatory, experiential knowledge of the transforming love of the father in our lives.

Knowledge is always a tool that guides us into a realm of experience or the utilization of a required skill. The fact that we know, or have experienced certain things either good or bad does not mean that we have a keen knowledge of the meaning and purpose of such events or experience. The meaning of what we experience is only given when we have a deep, intimate, biblical ascended relationship with the Spirit of the Lord, who knew us and has planned all things to work together for his own good pleasure for lives.

A kingdom centered love is measured by what we are able to give up and continually release in our toxic emotional soul faculty than merely the knowledge we have of the father’s love. There’s just so much I know of the love of God that I have not received if you will, the capacity to engrain such truth into my daily walk, and that is because of the continual negativity one is faced with, especially amongst those who claim to love us.

The light of the father’s love can only shine perfectly where there’s the darkness of hate and unforgiveness. If we are unwilling to turn on the light of the father’s love in the midst of bondage, pain, and cruelty, how can we boast of knowing or having the love of God? Friends, there’s just so much we know in our spirit-man that cannot be applied to the dysfunctional soul state. We have to move beyond the position of acquired spiritual knowledge to the point where we can begin to effectively use such truth to pull down the negative, dysfunctional faculties of our soul in order for our spiritual walk to be perfected in Christ.

I had to start using each truth that came to me as a revelation to start tearing down all the false images and negative thoughts and imaginations I have allowed to build a wall within my mind. In my teenage life, I was told I will never amount to nothing, yet I knew I was somebody in search for an identity to become somebody. This is where my journey and passion for truth began. I discovered myself through the love I was shown in the fatherhood of God. Knowing that nothing can change how the father feels about me is liberating.

My greatest fear has now become my greatest weapon of creativity and advancing my kingdom assignment. Yes, there days I still feel like given up and running away, but the grace of the father is sufficient in reminding me of who I am in his eternal love, and this truth brings me freedom and allows me to press further into his ordained prophetic agenda for me. Spiritual freedom is an event, but the freedom of your entire life’s faculty is a daily experience that comes from you reminding yourself of who you are, and what the love of the father has achieved on your behalf.

As you get ready to close the year and step into 2018, you must remind yourself that you are a continual, working project in the hands of the Spirit of the Lord. Do not allow your present state of mind or feeling to hijack your ordained, prophetic destiny in Christ. See how far you’ve come with the Lord and where he is leading you. It’s time you also embrace the pure, undiluted love of God as you come to the end of yourself and the opinions of others about you.

INSIGHT INTO THE PROPHETIC MINISTRY

My invitation, calling, and experience into the prophetic

ARTICLE 4

BY ISAIAH-PHILLIPS AKINTOLA

The various channels of Gods calling

The issue of how God speaks and how we are to listen and respond to him, I think is still a big issue the church corporately still need to devote quality time and space to rediscover. If I had someone around back then who could help in interpreting what I saw, I am very sure I could have gone far in the assignment of heaven for my life. The spiritual experience I had back then sent me on a journey of trying to discover what on earth I was assigned to do for the lord. I was very much aware that the hand of the Lord was upon me but I was clueless regarding the area He wanted me to function.

I finally decided to go study theology in a bible school amid my quest and hunger for God. I had thought going to a bible academy should help train and equipped anyone for ministry. Well, to some degree, I was wrong. However, that’s an issue for another occasion if the lord will permit us to share on that. Back to our teaching. I felt I should put this testimony down to help someone out there who may need this experience to kick start his or her own journey into the divine call of the Lord.

Fast forward to 2015, My personal migration and seasons of transition have introduced me to some dealings and development that has moved me away from certain engrained religious strongholds and church traditional beliefs I used to accommodate regarding the prophetic ministry to a more matured, broadened, effective and productive character nature in the act of understanding the core aspects of the workings of prophetic Spirit.

The prophetic in transition

The prophetic ministry is a continuous spiritual (transition) movement into the full life and stature of Christ image and likeness in precise lifestyle living and ministry representation. Each season of your spiritual transition and development introduces you to an entire new world of truth emphasis that demands death to the old, and a continuous readjustment to the new emphasis of the Spirit such that you are able to accurately and effectively engage the purposes of God and the act of kingdom representation in the Spirit of truth and purity.

The season of transition which is one of the most important and effective spiritual tools the lord applies in the transformational process of a Christian is usually used to reshape, adjust and empower the inner core character of a believer for effective engagement in the resolving of personal or corporate life’s complex challenges.

The more we are aware of the father’s mighty hand upon us and learn to respond to the frequent calling of the Holy Spirit in the act of preparing us for what we’ve been destined for, the easier it becomes to accept the process heaven has designed to introduce us to our prophetic image and likeness.

We must always remember that the prophetic is first a general character attitude of all believers in Christ before it grows and develop into a gift or office. Every believer in Christ should be adequately taught and disciple on how to effectively grow and develop the potential of their prophetic nature and identity received at the new birth of their spiritman.

The lord is the potter, shaping us into what he has divinely destined us to become before time began. There are conditions of needs, trials, persecutions, emotional situations, and physical circumstances and challenges way beyond our personal control or anyone’s ability for that matter that has been programed to develop and bring us to maturity.

The truth is, regardless of how spiritually skilled, knowledgeable or wise we may assume we are in trying to navigate these situations, they will fail because it is the lord himself using those instruments to both shape and introduce us for what he has destined for us as ministry.

Our religious knowledge of prayers, intercessions, studying of the word or even fasting cannot stop or hinder the process leading us to become Gods approved voice in the earth except we ourselves decides to put a stop to it. Some of the most horrible circumstances, trials and persecution I’ve been through in life were the finest instruments the lord used to shape and introduce me to a deeper and clearer insight of my ordained prophetic call.

The discovery of the ministry of redemption in the life of any believer, which in most cases are done through sound biblical discipleship training, and a real-life circumstance challenges are some of the best ways of introducing a person into whatever ministry he or she has been called to represent for Christ.

This process is revisited from time to time to best fashion us into that well informed and well-built spiritual instrument that can effectively shape, transform and reform the church and the larger society back to heavens desired blueprint.

The moment we are able to learn to identify and submit to the principle and value standard of the father’s dealings in our lives in achieving the best we’ve been destined for, the easier it becomes to surrender ourselves to the rigorous refining process, regardless of the immediate pain and discomfort we may have to endure. Submitting our unrefined soul to the divine process of pruning and cultivation in becoming a good ground to receive the incorruptible seed of Gods kingdom, the easier it becomes for the channel of our sight, hearing and heart conception in the ministry of delivering precise prophetic message.

The danger of presumption

How many times have we seen an image or heard a voice without precisely knowing or understanding what they mean. The knowledge of the things of the Spirit are secretly embedded in the revelational life of God’s word and only those who have been thoroughly schooled and equipped in the act of searching out truth and revelation of the Spirit of Christ are able to precisely find and identify the mind of the lord. This is the meaning of the parable of the hidden treasure of the kingdom of God.

However, the mere fact that we’ve been taught in some biblical principle does not automatically give us inroad into the knowledge of the things of the Spirit. The conduit of our spiritual expression must be kept clean for revelation to be precise and accurate.

Words, vision, images, colors, dreams, sounds, events, voices and incidents are some of the vehicles the lord employs to convey his intent but we must have PURITY OF HEART AND THOUGHT for us to understand what the lord is trying to convey to us or through us.

The scripture says only the pure in heart will see God. Seeing God means that we are able to properly identify his thought, passion, speaking’s, desire and will at every season of his call and demand for our lives. Yet, seeing God or understanding his way is not enough to be adequately prepare for the spiritual journey ahead of us. We must be able to combine what we see, hear and have conceived within our spirit to precise interpretation of heavens intention as we walk in obedience. This simply mean that our spiritual eyes, hear and heart must constantly be in sync to the requirement of heaven at any given injunction.

My point is, understanding the prophetic gift or office cannot be done in isolation of the overall biblical footing of the ministry of redemption and sanctification, and the necessary journeying into the revelational pillars of love, faith and hope. These are big issues regarding moving into the prophetic. The knowledge of a solid Christ-centered oriented salvation or let’s say redemption, which is a more comprehensive term for the salvation of the spirit, soul and body. Redemption goes beyond the initial stage of just confessing our sins and accepting Jesus Christ into our spirit.

We need to understand that confessing Christ is just the foundation of a whole process of actually building the house of our redemption. We are told to work out our salvation with fear and trembling. The working out of our salvation is the process of bringing the soul back to the regulative authority of Gods kingdom within our renewed spirit.

There is a whole lot more to that journey of redemption many unfortunately are yet to discover. Building the foundational knowledge of any spiritual experience, which includes that of intercession or the prophetic requires that we have a sound, solid and balanced spiritual insight and biblical ideological footing of the ministry of redemption. It remains the only doorway to accessing any divine knowledge, dealings or spiritual transaction.

I am emphasizing this point because 99% of the problem we are today facing regarding spiritual leadership and ministry gifts in the church is directly connected to the lack of a thorough biblical doctrinal spiritual footing.  However, for us to venture into describing the intended designed blueprint and function of a prophet and the prophetic gifts on a general term. I will strongly recommend that we first need to lay aside whatever notion one had acquired regarding the prophetic.

The lack of biblical foundation opens the door for false tradition

There are tons of images and ideas that has been wrongly painted within the minds of the saints regarding the prophetic which has unfortunately led many to have believed in a lie. While there are quite a few good resource materials on this subject out there, but I must add, they are pretty difficult to find in most of the so-called Christian book shops that are mostly filled with motivational peak performance materials. It is quite sad to see the level of deceit and misrepresentation with regards to the ministry of the prophet today within the body of Christ.

To have a sound biblical concept of who a prophet is, and the operation of an authentic prophetic gift, we certainly have to be ready to prayerfully search the word of the lord diligently.  Another thing I’ve also noticed is that only a handful of believers today truly know or understand the difference between the prophetic gift and the prophet’s office.  There is certainly a significant difference between this two which I will try to identify as we unpack the revelation within this message.

The almost nonexistent of what is known as an authentic teaching priest ministry in today’s church community as allowed many strange and highly dangerous extra biblical demonic doctrines to invade pulpits and the minds of God’s people, especially in the area of prophetic gift.  The importation of The New Age demonic doctrines, and the widespread Judaism beliefs into the New Testament Christian community has also made things even more difficult.

There has never been a time in history where the church is desperately in need of a true authentic kingdom centered ministry of the prophet. But you will also agree with me that there has never been a season in history where the body of Christ has been under a continuous assault of wrong doctrines and half-baked, spiritually blind leaders who have allowed false prophets and false teachers to invade the house of God.

Many of the foreign teachings that has found their way into most of our churches in the community and the inner cities today are due to the issue of having weak, soulish, imbalance, spiritually dull and blind leaders at the gates of church affairs.

The inability to accurately discern and rightly divide the word of truth has unduly opened the lives of many Christians to soulish intercessory prophetic practice and beliefs. Many today have been ignorantly dragged away by this false men and women who uses intimidating teaching technics, manipulative gimmicks and a high level of familiar (demonic) spirit to seduce and lure the hearts of the spiritually unskilled and unlearned from the ways of the ministry of truth.

Churches whose footing and foundation are not rooted in the character nature of the person of Christ, the sound doctrinal teachings of the apostle and the cultural principle of Gods kingdom taught by seasoned teachers according to the book of Act are giving in to the false idolatry teaching of the New Age doctrine, Judaism practice, and other forms of humanistic denominational traditions.

Before we proceed further about the prophetic, I believe the lord will have me quickly address some of this lingering but highly deadly issue many leaders seem to be afraid to talk about in our churches today.

How many leaders including those who are now claiming to be part of the apostolic reformation today are importing carved image of a so-called ark of the covenant into the churches as symbol of the presence of God; many have gone as far as Israel to buy Ram’s horn as a seal of their intercessory prophetic endorsement.

I don’t understand what a Rams horn have to do with a New Testament apostolic centered prophetic community. This is completely unbelievable. I am not sure if these brethren truly read their bible, and if they do, how do they see and interpret what they read. Many churches in America and Africa have rushed into this error, and their congregations are massively being seduced into this great deception which is now causing a huge problem for the larger body of Christ.

The blowing of a Ram’s horn or the physical presence of some form of a carved Ark does not make a difference in our fellowship gatherings if we are not abiding in the continual reality of the will of the father, which is the only approved instrument that commands the fathers blessing and presence in our midst. In fact, those practices today are the very symbol of idol worship.

The Rams horn can be a powerful instrument of worship, but to set it aside as a kind of New Testament symbol of the prophetic or intercessory ministry is completely heretic     and deceptive, especially to young converts who are not grounded in the principles of biblical doctrine. Let me make this clear.

The Old Testament scripture is undoubtedly hundred percent part of the New Testament, and their connection or use in the interpretation of the mind of the Lord in the New Testament can never be eradicated or misuse if we follow the guiding light of the Holy Spirit.

The new testament foundation

The fact is, the New Testament remained the only approved guiding light in interpreting what was (covered) veiled under the Old Testament. The Old Testament does not stand alone and cannot interpret itself in the light of the new covenant ministry; it is the new in Christ that interprets the old for the fact that the New Testament was introduced as the substance that brings to light and into fulfillment that which was vague under the shadow of the Old Testament.

The Old Testament was the school master, designed by the father himself to prepare and mature us for the reality of that which was to appear in the revealing of Jesus Christ who is the pattern of all human existence. The unveiling of Christ and his ministry when he came out of river Jordan with the proclamation of john testimony, behold the Lamb of God that takes away the sins of the entire world, brought to an end the entire Leviticus order and its system of practice.

At the moment of that declaration, everything Judaism and its entire Levitical religious system represent became obsolete in the eyes of the father even though they still carried on practicing it. To therefore now try to drop the standard of what Christ died to establish as his church, to the level of the practice of Judaism in the New Testament community, in my strong view is crucifying Christ the second time.

An apostolic kingdom centered Christianity does not have a place for the practice of Judaism. This is a false doctrine many in the body of Christ today are being seduced to accept in the name of unraveling deep mysteries lucked in the Old Testament. There can’t be a higher or deeper revelation than Christ been the alpha and omega of all spiritual mysteries locked in God. Christ is the complete revelation and reflection of what we are destined to attained and become either from an individual or a corporate church perspective.

To begin journeying way deep into the realm of Gods mind in unveiling what embodies both the life and temperaments of what I call the Father’s prophetic nature is to totally be ready for a lifetime adventure into a dimension religious spirit is not allowed.

Deep within the Spirit of the Father is something call the creative, redemptive and restorative character nature of the father. This character nature of the Father, houses what we can term to be prophetic which is just more than some gift. It is a resident life in the Spirit of God, and we do need to understand how this life-nature function through what is already available in the word, and what will be eventually shown to us by the operations of the ministry of revelation which confirms the pattern of what is already written in the scripture.

We don’t just want to settle for some performance act without precisely understanding the technical operation function of the Spirit. Sometimes, it may not be necessary to understand the details of how certain things operate, but in other cases, a little technical or administrative insight can be of a great advantage in helping us to see and better relate to things more effectively. We shall further look into this concept of the formation of the prophet’s Spirit.

Suffice to say, the further we press into searching and seeking to know through the ministry of the Spirit of truth and revelation, we shall be shown things that may seem dark to us in the mystery of the prophetic but as we further press into truth, they will become clearer.

Exploring the makeup structure of the prophet is one of the most spiritual adventure I have ever experienced. When all your desires and passion is driven into focusing on wanting to experience spiritual things to better please the father, you will be surely invited to have a glimpse, and if you are truly desperate and hungry enough for more, you will be led into a lifetime experience of encountering the presence and glory of the father revealed in the face of Christ.

Nothing of the Spirit is stumbled upon or received by chance; a price must be paid to know and discover divine things, especially when it’s connected to the office of the prophet.  It is the glory of God to conceal a thing but the glory of the sons of God is to search them out. The prophetic lives in the center core of the father’s heart. No one stumble on this realm. You have to completely yield all of your spirit, soul and body to the father to prove that you are truly committed to this adventure of the Spirit.

The journey of searching what heaven construct and formulate within the core behavioral template of a chosen vessel to be heavens custodian of truth is a decision each person called must be ready to make.  Every minute detail of the life of a chosen vessel into this office is thoroughly processed through rigorous training in the word of God and also through strange life challenging circumstances to see that the making of a prophet is perfected.

Please note, this is not just about the operation of a gift in man, but the call to be able to precisely divide and deliver the intent and voice of heaven to earth dwellers without corruption or distortion. Therefore, the need for purity, trust, holiness, obedience, courage, boldness, right value model, sacrifice and unwavering stand for justice and equity is a high-watermark in the call and the making of a prophet.

The foundation of all knowledge

We cannot venture into the knowledge of things, whether they be things in the heavens of heaven or things beneath the earth or within the innermost being of man without first having the knowledge of the Holy One. This basic point I am flagging is essentially crucial to the issues we are going to further consider, and I desire us to reexamine the foundation that ought to give us that proper orientation in both engaging and interpreting the mind of the Lord with regards to the knowledge and culture of his kingdom.

As a student of the scripture, I have discovered that even those who have been given to the body to teach and instruct us on basic principles, values and precepts of the word of God to some degree, share a bit of misconception, prejudices, and misrepresentation for various obvious reasons.

And therefore, I believe that reexamining the core footing that defines our theological prism of ideology inconsistent to biblical truth is highly necessary in order to have a correct, solid, holistic, unbiased spiritual footing as we press into the reality of what constitutes a precise, standardized knowledge of accessing the kingdom of God.

 The true purpose of salvation

Firstly, the very spiritual footing that both carries and form the shape of the foundation of what is intended to be built as a spiritual edifies plays one of the most important roles in the journey of life. The outpouring substance of what is intended to be shaped as a template of our inner, cast spiritual structure must first align with the revelatory design of the heavenly temple pattern.

However, this is a huge challenge since not everyone had the right spiritual discipleship program to access the knowledge of the Spirit through a precise, standardized, revelatory knowledge of Christ and the kingdom.  One may quickly argue that isn’t that one of the reasons why salvation, through being born again was given?

Yes, that is one of the reasons, but we can equally also agree that not everyone duly understands, or have come to agree that the core purpose of salvation is not just to make it to heaven but to mature us in all knowledge and dealings of life.

True, biblical, precise teaching on salvation ought to teach us how to bring heaven down into our present domain, in a manner that affords us the grace to reflect the glorious beauty and grace of the kingdom of God to creation and humanity through our reborn and regenerated spirit-man. Salvation and redemption were given to create an equalized position for everyone to perfectly access the doorway into the revelation of Christ and his kingdom for all.

Hence, redemption becomes the schoolmaster that prepares us for the position of the sonship nature of the second man, the last Adam, who has become the pattern and template of how we see, receive and function in the ministry we’ve all been assigned.  This further background knowledge gives us insight into what we are examining as we are being called to ascend to another reality in the climbing unto the mountain of the Lord.

Understanding the ministry of suffering

The further we move into the day of the lord, the more resolute and determine we must become in embracing the virtue of suffering and the challenges presented to us in the spirit of joy and the fruit of the spirit as a necessary divine requirement in the preparation to be better equipped for the service of the ministry of Christ and his kingdom.

2 Corinthians 4:17

16Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. 17For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. 18So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

The word suffering among most Christians today has been tagged with a negative unacceptable experience. Yet, when we consider scripture carefully we see how the lord use the ministry of suffering to refine and perfect his vessels of honor.

Suffering is not just about the lack of food, good clothing, money, nice house, the lack of education, job and so on. There’s [tribulation] suffering the lord has ordained and called his own into in an order to get the best of himself out of them.

The fact that Christians across the globe live in different political and socioeconomic realities, and to a large degree, those realities affect and shape their spiritual orientation and outlook of their faith. In order words, what some others consider as the norm in their part of the world may turn out to be persecution in another region or context.

Environment and perspective

By default, the environment we grew up plays a huge role in the shaping and the construction and formation of our lives orientation and general outlook. Here’s a good example, a believer who grew within a war zone environment, and a Christian who developed within an environment of peace, financial security and wealth will certainly not have the same faith perspective, insight to correct life’s value, and the preferred, operational value template and the opportunity to annex resources for productivity.

While this may not be categorized as a general principle, the fact remains that the realities of these two groups are a world apart, and that does impact on their life’s view and spiritual prism.

Another example I have personally noticed in the last 15 years or so of my stay in South Africa, having the opportunity to pioneer a fellowship, preach and teach in various churches within the provinces, I can confidently say that I’ve noticed a significant difference in the response system of the people to the gospel message.

Furthermore, there’s a unique character attitude many Christians display as they interact, perceive and even react to both the message and the messenger of the gospel from place to place. This concept I am relating to carries both a positive and a negative viewpoint that may not necessarily be seen or noticed on a face value relationship except the Lord opens one’s eyes to see it.

When you gather ministers of the gospel together in one place and give the task of preaching from the same text scripture, you are certainly going to get varieties of insight and interpretations, and that is true. However accurate is their revelation, you can rest assured that forty percent of what they might have said or taught are shaped directly or indirectly from the environment that shaped their perspective and life orientation.

This is a fact that cannot be denied. We are all products of our environment, either good or bad, and that’s the reason the Lord uses what is called a standardized knowledge of the spiritual [principle] truth to refine, balance or equalize our spiritual orientation so we don’t only reflect the experience of the environment that has shaped us, but rather see life and its various complex dealing through the eyes of Gods eternal design for us.

This simple, but, profound truth helps us to precisely interpret the whole concept of our lives, either from a positive or negative experience through the prism of the kingdom of God. Regardless of where we came from and the color of our skin or gender, our spiritual lens view changes to the father’s eternal designed blueprint for. Whether we are born with royal blood, or we are from an African linage of the slave trade, it really does not matter again, as our stature and identity in the kingdom of God bring us all back to that point of our true original state in the father, the state of sonship.

Unfortunately, not many understand this concept of life within the Christian faith, and therefore, the Lord often use certain parallel kingdom value principles like tribulation, or even temporal lack to awaken the spiritual faculty of his own chosen people, and to also to help them create that sense of spiritual understanding in measuring up to that spiritual standard in accessing the portal of humility and the rest of the fruit of the spirit that truly enriches their soul.

We are told that we can only enter the kingdom through much suffering. This suffering is the glorious pathway into the life and virtue of kingdom culture. Whatever way or condition we’ve been naturally born, or whatever place or location we maybe current located, if we’ve not been through the access point of suffering, the experience of our spiritual orientation will certainly not be completed or lopsided. Therefore, it will be highly challenging for you or me to relate and understand the key spiritual building components for the kingdom life and its representation.

There’s a single binding principle that allows every member of the church of Christ to see and interact with each other according to the stipulation of the ministry of the tree of life. Before we can truly and effectively access the glorious life of the kingdom, the valley conditions of our lives must be filled up, the mountains must be made plain, and the uneven roads must be straightened out. These are dimensions of ideological beliefs and standards we’ve inherited that must be given up to the new life and culture of the kingdom we are entering.

Everyone whose desire to ascend into the reality of true kingdom lifestyle must come through this doorway of tribulation. The wealthiest people within the body of Christ have their own seasons of suffering. My point is, this is not about the lack of money. Spiritual suffering is not poverty and poverty is not spiritual suffering.

A believer can amass all the wealth of this world but he or she is completely poor unto the true riches of the kingdom. There’s a poverty every believer must experience, regardless of how rich they may be, they must constantly seek this dealing of the spirit from the father to keep and maintain the sense of spiritual wealth in their journey towards the tree of life.
