THE SCIENCE OF THE PROPHETIC MINISTRY. VOLUME ONE
Delves into the Life and nature of Prophetic Architecture
This is the first book of a two-volume work which exists to bring the believer into the inner reality and journey of what the prophetic actually is. The prophetic is one of the most powerful instruments God has given us, not only to know His life, His ways, His nature, and His activity, but to learn how to represent Him within human space. Anyone who wants to live a successful life must carry what Scripture calls a prophetic spirit, because the prophetic spirit is the very architecture of how God designed life to be lived. It is a life constructed within God Himself, a life of total yieldedness and obedience to His ways and His will, a life that allows His authority and government to be manifest through a person.
The prophetic goes far beyond foretelling and far beyond the idea of predicting what is coming. Understanding the future is already given to anyone whose life is united with Christ. Once the prophetic is understood as a life in Christ, and once a person functions from within that life, the past and the present become as accessible as the future, and that person becomes able to represent what is coming from above. At its center, the prophetic is about bringing the kingdom of God to bear on every dimension of human life, so that His redemptive intention becomes manifest in time.
As simply and as humbly as the prophetic must carry itself before God’s people, it remains a multidimensional, deeply resourceful order of the ascended life and ministry in Christ. It speaks into the dimensions of God’s eternal redemptive counsel, bringing to light His reformative and restorative intentions toward man, and toward the systems through which man is designed to live and function on earth. Because of that complexity, the prophetic must first be understood as a divine architecture of existence, and only then as a functional way of thinking and relating to the world.
This order matters. Collapse the prophetic into a single functional framework and it gets reduced to one character, one expression, almost always eschatological. Say the word prophetic and most minds go straight to end-time events: signs, warnings, global upheaval, the rapture, the beast system, the last days. The prophetic certainly includes these, but it is far larger than eschatology, and reducing it to that one dimension causes us to miss the primary reason it exists.
A more accurate framework holds four dimensions together: the revelation of God, the revelation of man, the revelation of the world, and the revelation of the future. Each builds on the one before it. No one can accurately discern the world’s systems without first knowing themselves, and no one can know themselves without first knowing the ascended Christ seated on the throne of their heart. No one can rightly understand the future without having worked through the first three. Most prophetic teaching starts at the fourth dimension and skips the foundation entirely, which is exactly why so much of what passes for prophetic ministry today remains immature and ungrounded.
Volume One, The Architecture of the Prophetic, lays that foundation. Volume Two, The Prophetic Training Companion, carries it into training, testing, and practice. Together, they are written to take the reader from understanding what the prophetic is to walking in it with clarity and authority.
