In today’s society, the harsh truth is that our modern culture, with its distorted and often unjust views on various levels, has caused countless individuals to hold onto a culture of resentment, hurt, and bitterness as a result of their past experiences of disappointment and letdown. However, in order to truly thrive and lead a successful life in the present moment, it is crucial to not only practice forgiveness for yourself but also extend it towards others who may have caused you pain.
There’s no advancement in life without dealing with the pains and hurts of the past. The act of forgiveness is not simply a shared mental ability, but rather a core spiritual law that transcends our human logic and understanding.
Until we open our hearts and minds to see and accept the concept of forgiveness through the lens of God’s perspective, we will continue to be confined by the limited and flawed human understanding that seeks only retribution, even in the mere thought or idea of it.
