The human sensory system is not a mere chance of biological development. It was thoughtfully designed by God as an integral aspect of His divine intent for human existence. While it is commonly accepted that humans possess five primary senses, including sight, hearing, smell, taste, and touch, these senses actually serve as gateways to a deeper and more meaningful connection between our inner selves and the external world around us. These activities, though often seen as simply for survival or enjoyment, actually have a deeper purpose in grounding us in the presence of God, connecting us to His creation, and fostering meaningful relationships with others.
