RACISM IS STILL A PUSH BACK TO THE VISION OF THE NEW DAWN AND COMMUNITY REINTEGRATION IN SOUTH AFRICA

By Isaiah-Phillips Akintola

Allow me to take a few moments of your time to call your attention again, to this one single challenge that has continued to bedevil our reintegration and development as a community and the nation as a whole. I will quickly give you a background to this article, but I will love to broaden the perspective of this discussion so you can appreciate my concern regarding this subject.

A few days ago, the 24th of July to be precise, I was racially attacked and removed in the name of religion from What’s on Franschhoek group page on Facebook for giving words of hope and encouragement to the people. I took offence to the way I was collectively attacked, even though I am not offended as a Christian with the way I was treated, in fact, I had taken time to pray for my protagonist and the rest, but I felt it necessary to highlight this issue to the public and the members of the Body of Christ to know the nature of what we are dealing with especially here in the Western Cape of South Africa.

If anyone wants a copy of my transcript with these folks, I’ll be more than willing to share them with you.  While this debate went back and front, I thought I should copy my discussion because I might just be removed, and I was right. While some may argue that the group is not designed for my kind of post, well, they may be right, but there was nothing that suggests I was wrong. Secondly, it was not my first time of sharing words of faith and comfort, and I have also seen others share on their faith on the page.

Thirdly, I have never received any words of concern from the administrators regarding my post.  However, some felt objected to this Christian value, which a later realized is not just about the words I have shared but about the person who posted it.

Some of these white folks had a problem with my colour, and maybe my name, and of course; my intelligence from the way I communicate, and then decided to launch an attack against me. Someone said you must have an agenda on this group because you write intelligently. What a statement of prejudice coming out of the mouth of a person to another human you have no clue nor understanding of his identity or place in the community or the larger society.

The fact is, this kind of insinuation is not just a reflection of shared ignorance and presumptive attitude we’ve seen with many, but in my opinion, one of the highest forms of human prejudice, spiritual blindness, and insecure dysfunctionality I have ever seen, to say the least.

They then threatened to report me to the administrator of the group, which I was actually waiting for, but to my surprise, by the next day, I discovered that I had been removed from the page without any prior contact, or charges against me from the administrators of the page, if this is not racial prejudice, then I wonder what it is?

It amazes me that one could be removed from a page without committing any crime than the fact that I shared my faith in love with others. As I said, this is just a background of the expansion of this subject, and I will further speak about it at the cause of the article, and I will like you to be patient in reading my highlights because it may just be a part of the puzzle you need in securing the future of your children and family as they grow in this racially toxic environment. The reality is, if I was a white man, we will certainly not be having this discussion.

The battle against Racism goes beyond a talk shop

Fellow readers and fellow citizens, the mere acknowledgement of Racism, Xenophobia, religious bias, and other forms of racial prejudices in our community is not enough in its total eradication. The reality is, we must start from the point of the admission that we have not done enough as government, community leaders, social activist, Church bodies, and the general society in recognizing and conscientizing ourselves regarding this vivid evil that has continued to eat our society like cancer.  The removal of all forms of racial thought pattern and tendencies should be aggressively engaged from all positions in our community and the larger society.

Only the blind will not see the systematic expression and impression of Racism and Xenophobia in the community of Franschhoek under the pretext of safeguarding what they defined as their commercial tourist space. What they forget to realize is, Franschhoek is not just a tourist space, it’s also a community where people with great needs, challenges, and struggles resides, who are desperately seeking for hope and direction in life, and this cannot be factored out of the landscape and demography of Franschhoek as a space in South Africa.

For a couple of months now the community of Franschhoek has witnessed the loss of lives. The kinds of accidents and deaths, no one can explain has taken place, and unfortunately are still happening.  For anyone to charge against words of hope, faith, and encouragement in the name of posting on a wrong space in my opinion, is selfish and devilish.  When people no longer live within the reality of the common culture of the community, they assume the world revolves around their little world of perspective

The worrying thing for me about this ungodly spirit of Intolerance is the fact that it has almost been accepted as the norm, after all, many would argue, we’ve tried our best in fighting it, but there’s very little or nothing we can do if the government cannot do something about it.

This kind of excuses is so flimsy that it has continued to embolden certain sections within the community to continue to take advantage of this seemingly lack of enough will and resolve in addressing racist tendencies across the board. It’s just so worrisome how many people I know complain about racial prejudice, even within their business and workplace, but are speechless and powerless to do anything about it.

It’s time we teach and empower ordinary citizens on how to locate and address racial prejudice. We are a nation who love to talk about rights, and that is good, but the fact is, we often talk above the heads of those who are victims of racial abuse the most, unfortunately.

I am flagging this point again because I want every one of us to sincerely and carefully examine ourselves, perhaps, there’s an iota of this negative attitude living inside us, and to sincerely seek help in dealing with it because Racism is a disease of hate that seeks to dehumanize and destroy other’s value, identity, and dignity.

When you have children, as I do have two of my own who are growing in an environment highly intoxicated by this evil spirit of hate just because of their colour or race, it carries the potential to paralyze their identity, dreams, potentials, and creative skill in contributing to the development of the human race.

No one predesigned nor defined their colour of skin or nationality, providence did! If in the 21st century, some still define others through the veneer of their fear and insecurity, that tells me, we have a bigger problem in our hands that even the idea of a prosperous society cannot resolve.

How can a nation prosper when there’s a sharp division amongst its people and political parties? The spirit of divide and rule is still much alive within the culture of our so-called new South Africa, and it’s the number one reason for the ongoing collapse of the State economy.

Forgetting where we came from

One would assume that a society like South Africa shaped under the brutal regime of apartheid will commit themselves and resources to the eradication of any form or tendencies of racial inequality.

Unfortunately, this is yet to be manifested even though this project is enshrined within the architectural framework of our constitution.  We may have one of the best constitutions in the world, but we are certainly one of the worst, in upholding and practising the spirit of the constitution, particularly, when it deals with this issue of racism.

If I may draw your attention why a young, vibrant, but divisive party like the EFF is increasely gaining ground across South Africa, but also here in the Western Cape, is due to how the people feel on the matter of the economy but in particular, on issues around racial prejudice and inequality.

For as long as there’s any form of racial abuse and Xenophobic attacks, the EFF party will continue to grow because they have positioned themselves as a party that fights for the freedom of the voiceless and the equality of the people even though this may not be totally true in practice.   I am not a politician, but a servant of the Most High, and my duty is to speak out against inequality mindset, and prejudicial belief system that has continued to dominate how some of our white folks see others.

To effectively rebuild the ruins of the unfortunate legacy of apartheid here in South Africa, everyone should be willing to look at themselves in the mirror of truth and genuinely ask themselves this question, am I a racist in my perspective and values? Do I perpetuate racial tendency unknowingly because you can manifest a racist attitude in so many ways without even knowing it?

To say you’re not a racist, you’ll have to be extremely aware of what constitutes Racism, and for this to happen, you must be able to see people through the eyes of their maker. Only a person with a redeemed spirit of God can truly look at another person, particularly, if they are wearing a different colour of skin as see them for who they are and not from some socio-cultural believe or identity.

I am an optimist, and my position from a vantage view gives me hope of a prosperous, well-integrated society, where no one is judged or honour due to their colour, race, religion or sex. I am looking forward to that day not afar where all who lives in this nation are truly treated with dignity, respect, and not because they are white or any other colour but because they are South African, and if they are foreign migrants, we should accord them the respect and dignity we offer to guests who come to visit us.

Unfortunately, before we get to this point, we will have to confront all this demon of Racism or Xenophobia, which has eaten deep into our social culture. There are those who still choose to see and believe from their dysfunctional perspective of white supremacy in our society, but particularly, here in Franschhoek, and this calls for great concern if we must secure the future posterity.

Am not new to the battle of racism

I am not new to the issue of xenophobic attack; I am quite aware of the operation of this ungodly spirit of insecurity. I had to face the reality of how it feels to be challenged, suspected, accused, and lied upon by so-called pastors and Christians, due to the colour of my skin and the region I came from.

If I wasn’t keenly aware of my prophetic mission to the nation of South Africa, particularly, why I am currently based in the Western Cape, I would have been driven into the hole or some cave in hiding like many have been force to do by this demonic spirit. To a large degree, I believe that I cannot be a faithful prophetic intercessor without facing what many have suffered and are still facing as South Africans from the hands of those who think they hold the key to the economy of the nation.

I do not believe that it’s by accident or chance the Lord directed my steps to the community of Franschhoek here in the Western Cape.  I do think that my marrying a woman of colour is part of my prophetic assignment to see and feel the level of suffering and damage inflicted on this nation of people. For those who care to know, my marriage was not a marriage of convenience.  I did not marry to become a South African citizen; no. I became a citizen of South Africa by pure merit.

The wrong perception you grew in makes you devalue people or overvalue others who don’t deserve such level of honour. When a white beggar looks down at your gift because you’re a person of a different colour, such a beggar should not be helped until such perverted, dysfunctional mindset is corrected.

The reality is, everyone speaks and view life from a specific ideological frame of mind. I could speak from an intellectual point regarding this matter, or speak from a political perspective, and I could also choose or speak from an immigrant view, and I’ll still be correct.

However, I’ve chosen to speak from God’s view and value regarding this matter because that’s my primary value system and philosophy of existence so I could be justified by him. The point I’m trying to make through this write up is more than just an incident that happened to me, I am trying to draw your attention and that of South Africans, particularly, the spiritual and political leaders because they are responsible in shaping the destiny of the nation on the right path. They’re still the landmines of apartheid buried within the ground of our socio-cultural, economic engagement that will continue to lame many if we don’t strategically locate and defused them.

Racism is a landmine

Racism is a landmine of apartheid that is still very much alive within the hearts and the social fabric of our communities. Unfortunately, it seems we lack both the political and spiritual leadership will in dealing with it. I have gone way past the point of trying to prove a point to anyone regarding my believe and stand for truth and justice, not just in the community of Franschhoek but in the entire nation of South Africa.

The reality is, if some of the mortals choose not to see nor recognize this side of me, well, the heavens will continue to testify of my presence and footprint as one whose agenda is to bring healing, hope, and  restoration to many who cannot even identify themselves as part of this great nation because they’ve been racially abused and marginalized. The battle of Racism and Xenophobia is in the realms of human thought and mind process, and only those with a sound mental and spiritual capacity can effectively challenge this evil spirit.

Racism on social media

As I explained earlier, three days ago, I posted two images on a Facebook group called ‘What’s on Franschhoek’ that made some whites feel I do not have the right to publish those words on the group page. Now, I’ve been on this group for the past two or three years if I could remember, but I hardly post on the group.

Secondly, the few times I did post, I did not receive any word from the administrator to stop what I was posting, why? Because there was nothing hateful, or prejudicial about my posts. Like we all know, group posting is first approved before they allow others to see them. I am not sure why I did not receive a word from those administrating the group that what you are sharing is hate speech or something that is not relevant to the community. In fact, the few posts that I shared, we’re loved and appreciated by a few white folks even though I noticed some of my earlier post were mucked by two men.

Thirdly, as a person of principle who understood the idea of protocol regarding people’s space, I hardly impose myself on others, including on social media; I would never go out of my way to violate people’s space and right. I have seen one of two messages in this group that seeks to encourage people on the issues around the Christian faith. More so, there nothing on the group that says this group is strictly business while many, of course, on the group basically use it for their business advertisement.

Religion, Philosophy, and economy the heart of human search

From the cradle of time as we read about the great cities, empires and kingdoms, known for their merchant trade routes, philosophy, religion and the search for wisdom were known to be the center core of their trade, and this was highlighted by the great merchant, philosopher, and adventurer by the name Marco polo. The search for truth in philosophy while the merchant’s trade has always been the light that illuminates the hearts of the people with hope.

To remove what is termed religious in the name of preserving the culture of buying and selling in society is totally contrary to the heart of economic philosophy. Steve Job, the founder of Apple at a point of his struggle with the idea of his company, went to India to consult some of the top Hindu Guru for direction. The point I am making is, religion has always been part of the concept of conceptualization, creativity, skill upgrade, and socioeconomic advancement. A tourist who goes to Indonesia, Malaysia, India, know that they will interact with ideas, concepts, arts and music that captures the spirit and religion of such regions.

The same goes for those who travel to places like Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Dubai, and so on, knowing that they cannot avoid ideas and arts that impresses the religion of Islam. We may argue that South Africa is a secular state, and that’s true, but nothing in the constitution of South Africa prevents the expression of the Christian faith publicly.

Those who have no sense of eternal vision for the development of others and the community only focus on what fits into their narrative of self-definition. Life is a complex reality, captured in the very reason for its existence through the eyes and faith of others.

As wealthy as the nation of India in its economy and keeping in mind that India is a secular state, yet, its Hindu religion is seen and visible across the board even within the business space. Those who are trying to use the pretext of secularism to try to shut down the voice of truth and that of God’s kingdom should think again because it will not work.

Cities and communities regardless of rich or beautiful they are should never be reduced to a common commodity of trade. Every society, including this community, has a soul seeking for redemption even amongst the highly rich and influential.  About last month, I felt led to start posting one or two words of encouragement from the scriptures on the group, and this was not a daily routine, and by the way, I was very aware of the kind of audience I am trying to minister to one group knowing the kind of resistance I may face.

Talking about audience, I am quite aware of various spiritual levels of those following me online, and therefore, I try to give varieties to cater for everyone, including some who immature or are teenagers following me. I have allowed a day to pass by before speaking about this matter so that I don’t find myself speaking out of unprocessed thought or emotional bias myself.

I have carefully considered my position and the position of all those who attacked me for speaking words of truth and hoped to anyone who may need it. In all fairness, a few of the posts that I have shared were like, mostly by some of the white folks, because only a person that has a different agenda will see those words and will not appreciate it.

Why I was attack on the card of race

Friends, the issue of my attack was not for the fact that what I said was wrong or right; the reality was, my pigmentation does not fit into the narrative of the white population on the group. Secondly, I must have a hidden agenda since my writing sounds intelligent; now, this is a direct quote from one of my protagonists.

One of them, a white lady threatens me, if you don’t stop now, I’ll report you to the administrator. So, I replied her please do, so I could explain myself and position, of course, they carried out their threat without getting any notification from the admin calling or warning me not to write anything pertaining to Christ on the post.

I have been removed from the post, and I give thanks to God to have used me to highlight to the people that Racism is still very much alive in South Africa, particularly, here in the Western Cape and in Franschhoek. Please, do note that there are several reasons why I chose to highlight this matter, particularly, now that the issue of racial profiling and discrimination is rearing its ugly head again across the globe.

We should not be talking about tolerance when we all have equal rights of existence as humans. After apologizing that am sorry to the very first guy who took offense at my post for my sharing of the gospel truth, that apology was seen as a weakness from my side, and just after that, everyone jumped on in to ask me to leave the group. They saw my apology as a weakness to launch an attack on me, but they were indeed blind to know that my apology was my strength and position of courage to stand for my right, and what I have believed for the past thirty years of my calling into ministry as the servant of Jehovah.

I will never give in nor bow to racial discrimination regardless of where or from whom it’s coming from. Racism is an anti-Christ spirit, and behind this evil spirit, is a deep sense of insecurity, fear, lack of trust, and pride to say the least.   I’ve got friends that are whites; one of my best friends was white before he went to be with the Lord, and it took a while before we could finally agree on some very critical issue around race, politics, migration, and spirituality.

Sometimes, we had heated arguments to the point that he will leave my place a bit angry, but by the next day, the matters are resolved through the common ground of our faith in the Lord. The reality is, many whites, are still unwilling to recognize and accept the common ground that defines and bind us together as a nation. Many unfortunately, still believe they are in charge of the country due to their economic investment and this is a terrible mistake.

The very first white friend I had was in Nigeria; we met in a bus-taxi while I was preaching. We became the best of friends for many years until I lost contact with him. One of my family members, a big aunty, was married to a white Canadian for more than thirty years. I have always had white folks around me, and they all know where I stand on the ugly issue of prejudice and racial bias. On the flip side, I have confronted people of my colour and skin again on racial remarks or attitude against white folks.

Wherever I hear some generalizing the idea that all whites are racist, I fight against such ungodly statements or notion. I will never allow any person to treat a white person with contempt due to his or her colour of skin. I know that this is a serious issue because it deals with how the environment, we grew up shaped our thought pattern and perspective to life and others. We must take a deep, sincere self-examination if we are found wanting in this Satanic spirit that is today destroying our humanity.

I don’t want my children growing up at start feeling something is wrong with them because of their colour of skin or how they look. Neither do I want any white child growing up thinking he or she must behave in a particular manner to be accepted by the rest because of how he looks.

When the issue of Race and Religion shutdown your voice

The more we reject the value of God’s word and continue to accept the agenda of those who want to change the order of things that is so unnatural, the more we are going to have these issues, unfortunately. How do we build an integrated society when perception is still rigid; how can we develop a coherent, patriotic nation when some group still chooses to see from a supremacist, prideful, prejudice mindset?

Another point I’ll like to highlight is the fact that many of the people who know me on the group, and I think they should be about five or so, including my wife, could not jump into the conversation to my defense; if for nothing, say but we know this person you guys are challenging or attacking. But further still, if they cannot stand up for me, they should be able to stand up for the defense of the cross of Christ and their own faith.

Not one person came to my defense or that of the kingdom, and you know why they couldn’t do that? They’ve all been captured by the spirit of apartheid; fear, intimidation, and limitation have crippled them to the point that they have totally lost their voice to speak out for justice. I saw this as a great test, not the whites that I know said anything, not some of the colored or my African brother or sister will dare rise to my defense.

I felt glorious like Stephen, who stood before the Sanhedrin in the Bible, defending his stand for Christ and his kingdom.  If you cannot stand for truth and the messenger of prophetic truth, what then are you standing for?  What do you call the silence of this so-called Christians? Many of what we claim to be practicing today as Christians is an extension of the worship of Baal because we are afraid of Jezebel. They rather be quiet than incur the wrought of Jezebel

Friends, I’ve been doing a write up on the architect of Jezebel, and one thing you’ll see in the attack of Jezebel and other tactics of the enemy is to use the spirit of intimidation to cripple their opponents. Many, today, who attend some Christian gathering or community have no capacity to stand up against the spirit of intimidation and fear.

Many only make noise in the holes and caves they call churches. When spiritual leaders don’t seem to have the capacity to address these evil tendencies on the pulpits, what then are they preaching and teaching the people. Those who promoted the agenda and the development of apartheid used the spiritual leaders and the platforms of the Church, and this is still happening today.

Today, we are seeing certain white folks trying to pay penitence for the sins of their fathers by serving foods to the poor communities; many have used Mandela day to try to show they are helping in the poor while we know that the spirit of prejudice still lingers in the hearts of many. If you asked me, this is playing on the intelligence of the people. If the white South Africans truly want to change the way things are going, let’s all start by changing how we see our fellow blacks or coloured humans.

Perception must be where change begins from and not in the mere handing over of some food packs or clothes to our vulnerable black folks or colored children in need.

This is good, but not good enough if we desire to escalate the agenda of grassroots integration, transformation and transformation.

If I could be judged and looked down upon based on the colour of my skin and not on my character or intelligence, then, something is still fundamentally flawed with the architectural framework of how many in our society think and see themselves and others.

My call is for everyone to stand up against this evil that is threatening the future of the community of Franschhoek and our beloved nation.

The voice of the Church must be awakened in addressing this problem; political leaders should never allow anyone to use the card of raise to abuse or dominate others, especially on the grounds of religion.

Those in the fields of business should stop abusing and underpaying their workers because they see them as vulnerable. Respect for all humans is a right and a necessity because we all love to be respected.

I will continue to be indebted to those white folks in the community of Franschhoek, and in other places who are selflessly serving not because they feel guilty, or seek to pay some form of penitence for the sins of their ancestors but because they love humanity regardless of their colour, tongue or creed.

Let it be known today that any individual who think they have a dominant voice or hand over any space in this new South Africa should think again because they will be stopped no matter what.

It’s a new dawn for South Africa, and indeed, racism has, and all forms of racial prejudice has no place here.

THE NEUTRALITY OF GOD’S INTERVENTION

INTERPRETING WITH ADVANCED SIGHT REGARDING GOD’S INTERVENTION OVER THE PRESENT BATTLE OVER THE NATION OF AMERICA, SOUTH AFRICA, AND THE REST OF THE NATIONS.

Several parallels, or do I say paradox is taking place within the nations, particularly, in America, South Africa, Nigeria, as well as the UK but it will take a genuinely advanced, prophetic ( spirit) sight to bring clear prophetic, perspectives and interpretations to these things to the extent that we are not overrun by our views or well ingrained religious and nationalistic or globalist prejudice in our analysis.

13 Now when Joshua was near Jericho, he looked up and saw a man standing in front of him with a drawn sword in his hand. Joshua went up to him and asked, “Are you for us or for our enemies?”

14 “Neither,” he replied, “but as commander of the army of the Lord I have now come.” Then Joshua fell facedown to the ground in reverence, and asked him, “What message does my Lord e have for his servant?”

Joshua 5:13-14

Only those who have explicit, in-depth knowledge of biblical definition and spiritual perspective regarding  present, global crisis  are able to clearly see things, and correctly separate truth from their own human (views) interpretation and expectations.

When Joshua saw this man standing, he immediately placed a presumption perspective and expectation on the stranger without allowing the man with a draw sword to introduce himself, and this is the unfortunate stand or view many Christians have chosening in  approaching  the many complex issues of life. Sometimes, the place or point where we stand regarding the battle of life can preoccupy and overwhelm our thoughts to the degree that they negatively impact or blur our judgement.
While standing before a type of a Jericho’s resistance challenge, we should never allow our prophetic perspective of approach to be compromised. Keeping a perspective of balance of judgement in decision without being pushed into a comer of concluding on issues we are get to get divine judgement could cost us.

We must be cautious that we don’t continue to promote the narrative of God is for us, and he is against them. The perspective of Which side God is regarding certain issues must require well matured, biblical and spiritual insight. Our battle must always be on. The point of principle and value and never on the personality. The rules of engagement regarding the battles of life, especially in this season demands we excercise the finest of redemptive approach to any situation as kingdom regents.  Joshua was taught a good listen that Jehovah is not a politician; God is neither a Republican nor is he a Democrat.

The God of America, as he is likewise the God of the rest of the world is not on the side of our religious or political biases.

He maintains his position of neutrality in his redemption purpose of all human.

It is us that must align our belief, motive, and agendas to his define standard.

For us to precisely see and appreciate the deliverance methodology of the Father for our nation and generation, we have come to the place of circumcision.

The Lord of Host wants to remove the reproach of our nations, including that of the United States of America, but it will not be done on some charismatic, believe or manipulation of intervention.

Hearts must be brought to God in sincere repentance from our blind spots, religious prejudice, our ingrained superior complex attitudes.

Pride must come down, and humility must be exalted and allow to flow like a river starting from the heart of the head of state to the ordinary Jones on the street.

Everyone needs to be circumcised by heart as we approach the battle of Jericho.

This battle will only be won through the power of obedience and the presence of God.

The priest must now take their place as the undress themselves from the spirit of pride and arrogance that kept them blind. It’s time to be redressed to bear the government of the nation upon their shoulders again.

The governing authority that will bring healing to the nation of America, South Africa and the rest of the world will flow from shoulders that have perfected the sacred call of carrying the (ARK) Presence of God.

May the Lord continue to grant us his grace and wisdom to both see and share in his truth with the finest of redemptive spirit, and ascended revelation in this season.

Iron must continue to sharpen iron for us to develop and maintain clearer, biblical, prophetic insight and wisdom in our interpretation!

IN SEARCH FOR SOUL REDEMPTION. NOTE 3

IN SEARCH OF SOUL SALVATION NOTE 3

The principle of soul redemption.

BY ISAIAH-PHILLIPS AKINTOLA

2 Timothy 3:5

Having a form of godliness but denying its power.

Have nothing to do with such people.

FOR SOUL REDEMPTION. NOTE 3

PRESUMING SPIRITUAL MATURITY

Thanks for stopping by to read the concluding article on this subject, I hope it will help to realign your heart to the current emphasis of the Lord, or maybe, reaffirm the things you already know regarding this vital subject.

There are still lots of loose ends regarding our understanding of redemption we need to carefully address, especially in this period, heaven is inviting us to a more ascended, position of governmental authority and representation.

Countless many, as we can see in the word of God and in modern history were defeated by the enemy during their prime days of strength and glory. A very good example of this is that of Rehoboam, Son of King Solomon. The scripture affirms that when Rehoboam’s position as the King of Israel was firmly established with all the fortified cities he had built and the great numbers of armies at his disposal, he and the rest of the people abandoned the laws and ways of God.

It was clear that this king did not understand the principle of redemption, solidly built on an ongoing, developmental relationships. He thought he could use God to achieve something grand for himself and the nation with maintaining a heart of love and commitment to the ways of God.  This is the same value system many have applied towards their relationship and interaction with the things of the Spirit, and this is the reason why many are struggling to find joy, peace, and righteousness in their so-called Christian faith.

2 Chronicles 12:1-2

After Rehoboam’s position as king was established and he had become strong, he and all Israel a with him abandoned the law of the Lord. Because they had been unfaithful to the Lord, Shishak king of Egypt attacked Jerusalem in the fifth year of King Rehoboam.

For us to effectively present ourselves as accompany of them ready to represent the Father’s prophetic intention for this season, we must close the various gaps of truth, insight, Revelation, and wisdom within the basic philosophy of our spirituality.

Becoming an integrated, spiritual, kingdom entity is a must in our qualification of advancement to the next frontier, and I do believe this is one of the main reasons the Spirit of the Lord is calling our attention to this subject of the salvation of the Soul.

What differentiates David from Saul was where they stand regarding the work with God in leading the people, and how they responded to the voice of God when they were both found wanting. Perfection is never about a sinless life as critically important, we daily press towards a sacred life of consecration, but about how we honestly respond to our sinful acts.

King Saul responded with lies, deceit, and self-glory to the voice of God’s judgment while David responded in repentance, humility, and submission to the judgment of God. These two individuals highlight the configuration of the hearts of those called and anointed by God to carry out an assignment for him.  Pride and self-deception are one of the most powerful weapons the enemy has used right from the days of the fall of the first man and his wife in the garden.

To effectively deal with the dysfunctional character, nature within us, we must be honest, truthful and willing to allow God into every aspect of our lives. Those who hide behind the term, ‘am a Christian’ without adhering to the value standard of a Christ-like life are deceiving themselves, and the enemy loves such individuals.

Apostle Paul, in his letter to Timothy, who was the resident Elder of the Church of Ephesus, highlighted this critical point, which is still the main challenge of today’s Church, which is, the idea that we can replace authenticity with a form. A form is that which looks like, feels like, sound like, but in fact, it’s fake. This text speaks of having a form of godliness but denying its power is something that should seriously concern any true spiritual leader and any serious follower of Christ.

The form of godliness has almost replaced the authentic, particularly, amongst spiritual leadership, and this has unfortunately opened the many lives to the lies of the enemy, particularly in the arena of spirituality. Many of the messages, teachings, and so-called biblical initiatives we see being practiced today are nothing but products of forms of godliness while the power of the gospel of the kingdom is being denied.

This lie has eaten deep into how the majority see and relate to the salvation’s relationship. There’s a lot of activity to show some sense of commitment to the ways of God while deep beneath the hearts of this professed believers this a disconnection. The mismatch in the Church today is a serious issue of not understanding the nature or function of the operation of the Soul, which I believe needs to be urgently addressed before it’s too late.

THE COST OF PRESUMPTION

To presume, and generalize knowledge, and the progressive experience in spiritual subjects is to make one of the greatest errors in the art of spiritual journey. Spiritual things from biblical perspective are often not related to formulas. Secondly, when it comes to the issue of Spiritual maturity, you begin to talk about the reality of kingdom principle and Christ lifestyle which is alien to what many have come to believe and accept as Christianity today.

Most of the teachings and traditions being practiced in our Christian gathering and denominations are a clear extension of the refined Roman-catholic Spirit and Judaism, traditional practice. These two schools of thoughts are the most influential customs that influence what today known and called the Christian religion is, and of course, they are not consistent with what Christ established as his ecclesia.  You must have noticed that this two-main influence, with many others, carries a form of godliness, but denies the power of right biblical value relationship.

A FORMULA OF RELATIONSHIP, WHICH ONE SHALL IT BE?

A formula by design will always give a predicted result as long as your calculation is defined and precise in relating to your expected result. However, in spiritual dealings and realities, you can accurately get all the formulas right and still not arrive at your predictive, expected outcome. Why? The Father never intends to relate to his body of the earth from a mentality or perspective of some formulas or laws. Yes, in our early days of the salvation experience, we might assume that the Father can be related to from a position of specific formulas.

MY PERSONAL JOURNEY

Example, I could still remember when I was growing in the Lord, often times when I pray regarding certain issues of need, I will usually get my prayer answered almost exactly the way I have requested it. I had somewhat mastered the formula of my approach to God in terms of what I desire him to do in my life, and to some level, it seems the Father was playing along in relating to me in terms of this limited, somewhat religious mind frame I was using to approach him.

I was innocent, naïve, or even ignorant regarding the ways of the kingdom. Back then, I am not sure if I do understand what salvation truly means and how to experience the spiritual life within my new relationship with the Father.

All I did was an extension of what I see many do around. I didn’t understand that there’s anything like spiritual development or the right protocol value of approaching the things of the kingdom. All I understood was the language of the word of faith; confess it and claim it, and then, a lot of hype in my praise and prayers; and of course, a passionate sense of worship without necessarily understanding what I was doing as long as there’s the result. I was result oriented and not principle and value focus like many believers back then.

If I can pray the more and worship with more passion, God will answer my prayers. As you can see, my motive of doing those things was already predicated on what God can do for me, rather than, doing those things because I am a son, called and chosen to give glory to my Father who has already given all things to me.

RITUAL OR SPIRITUALITY?

The unfortunate thing however was, these powerful spiritual principles of approach back then were taught from a perspective of what I can gain or get in return for my benefit. Basically, this concept, or idea of spirituality, is a user-friendly philosophy of spirituality’. Everything is passionately pursuit if it is going to bring me a blessing, increase, promotion personally, and prosperity regardless of the alternative Father may have in store for me.

As you can see, the principles were right, but the motives were utterly wrong. Unfortunately, this is how many are still approaching the things of God, which is formula based. This is an approach of a slave, orphan spirit many are still expressing in their spiritual quest.  The Father does not desire to deal with any of his children from this fallen, humanist, religious value. Formula is a deep reflection of the ministry of the law still operating in our lives.

We are called to journey in the redeemed nature of our Spirit in a true relationship; a relationship that is born out of trust, faith, and complete obedience to the ways and life of the kingdom of God.

The term relationship is one of the most abused and misunderstood words today, both in the body of Christ and generally in society. And this is a deliberate, strategic plan from the kingdom of darkness to corrupt, dilute, and desensitize the power and value the word, like many others within the hearts of men.

WHEN SPIRITUALITY MEANS SOMETHING ELSE

There’s no strategy as powerful as reducing or nullifying the meaning of something in the public domain until such a thing means something else from its original meaning of intent. This is one subtle way the enemy has tried desensitizing our spiritual sight and values, especially in this contemporary Age. The battle to reduce the meaning of words and discredit the power of God’s values and philosophy has been ever-increasing warfare in our time.

We live in a day where truth today is viewed as relative. People now have the audacity to challenge the truth and value behind every word spoken by our Lord Jesus Christ.  Keeping the true meaning and intention of words in it’s original, intended, context has become critical to the objective in maintaining the very essence and value of kingdom truth.

The purpose and value of truth are reduced if the words used in conveying such truth is not clear or understood to be saying what it is intended for. Therefore, if I say I love you, and you don’t understand the original meaning and purpose of the word love, you will undoubtedly borrow the general meaning and value system society uses to measure the value of what I am saying to you. This is a grave matter that needs those in the apostolic ministry to clarify, at least this is one of the core objectives of those in the office of the authentic apostolic governmental ministry.  Words are no more words if they’ve lost their very essence, values, and core objectives.

RELATIONSHIP, A JOURNEY TO SPIRITUALITY

Therefore, to say that relationship is the very essence of our spiritual development is a serious statement when we capture the true essence of the word term relationship from divine meaning and perspective.  A relationship is the single thread that ties the mystery of the Godhead together in that order of perfect unity that makes them one in three. My point is, there’s more to understand in the very nature and life of God in relating to relationship than we can comprehend with our unregenerated frame of thought.

The idea of a religious formula, rituals, and the inscription of the laws is easily understood from the carnal, humanist frame of thinking, but God does not live in such a realm. Even when he gave us the law, a type of formula, was for the objective of schooling us to understand certain fundamental principles required to build the necessary character values have been in living in slavery, abusive lifestyle for a long season. It’s more challenging to manage freedom if one has been in bondage for as long as one can remember.

You need to set specific guidelines and rules in place to protect those coming into this freedom. Freedom can soon have turned to self-bondage when the right values and understanding of lifestyle has not been taught. This is what the Lord did when he gave the children of Israel the commandment of approaching him and relating to one another in the camp.

The moment we move into the art of living according to his eternal design, the good, elementary principle of formula and laws no longer suffices or applies to us because we’ve transited into the lifestyle of the covenant through the blood of Jesus Christ, for this is the heart of our calling in kingdom order of relationship.

UNDERSTANDING SPIRITUALITY

Back to the point, I was trying to make about the idea of maturity. I have highlighted all this explanation to make this critical point that I hope you’ll now be able to appreciate. You cannot presume or jump into conclusion when it comes to spiritual development and maturity. Therefore, to assume the fact that you stand shoulder to shoulder with your teacher at school, or boss at the workplace suddenly makes you equal with them.

Or better still, to assume the fact that you have the same matured body features and figures with your parents suddenly make you equally developed as your mother or Father is to express utter ignorance that can cost you dearly according to the word of God.

Maturity, in particular, spiritual maturity, is not merely defined by a person’s Age; if your definition of maturity or the respect of individuals is merely limited to their age gap or material acquisition and influence in society, then you’ve certainly proven that you lack the knowledge of basic life principles and the core values that drives human existence.

I see this sense of disrespect within the body of Christ in the name of spirituality, especially on social media. If you have ‘knowledge’, such knowledge, regardless of how potent must function within an atmosphere of humility, honour, wisdom and respect. If your quest for knowledge exhibit pride and arrogance, you have nullified the law that makes truth work within your life, and therefore, you will be rejected from accessing divine things.

The template that gives you the code to access spiritual Revelation is a template of humility to those who are given the mission of spiritual apostolic stewardship. Because many have not been taught that spiritual things operate through the ministry of what could be likened to the ministry of certain folks within kingdom called gatekeepers, they assume they can just walk into the presence of the Father to ask for anything in terms of spiritual Revelation.

THE PROTOCOL OF BIBLICAL SPIRITUALITY

Spiritual things work through divine protocol and these protocols work through specific underpinning value systems that interfaces between heaven and earth. If you lack the knowledge of the ways of the Spirit, you will be denied access to the ascended life of God, or the things of his kingdom, especially in a position or atmosphere where there’s a corporate gathering of the Saints.

There are people within the body of Christ who are designed over regions to be portals of revelatory access. These elders at spiritual gates of nations, cities and communities regulate and carefully administrate the apostolic construction, or prophetic engagements that generally flows into regions and atmospheres according to heaven’s divine season.

This is the idea behind the Church and the angle position within the seven nations in Asia minor according to the book of Revelation. Those churches are planted to regulate the spiritual, socioeconomic, and political destiny of their cities for Christ. They are the original governing leaders of their communities.

Re-examining the footing of our redemptive,

biblical status.

THE MEN OF EPHRAIM, WELL-EQUIPPED WITH BOWS

[AND ARROWS], TURNED [AND RAN] ON THE DAY OF BATTLE.

Psalm 78:9

by Isaiah-Phillips Akintola

Many seemingly mighty and elegant edifice, erected within the minds and around many Christians to behold will be collapsing at this end of days, particularly, from amongst what is presumptively defined as kingdom communities due to their weak, imbalanced spiritual philosophy and understanding.

We shall continue to discover as the new dawn of the days of the Lord falls upon us that that size, weight, and height do not necessarily amount to vision, strength, longevity, capacity, and productivity. The root or foundation we build will ultimately determine how far we go, and how long we shall remain, and this truth has now become a critical focal point as the sound of this present, spiritual advancement begins to lead us to a new frontier.

During one of our recent morning beyond devotional series, I was interested in probing why 22 thousand soldiers, armed for battle were disqualified, having failed the test of their fears and their lack of courage.

I have often used this scripture in Judges 7: 2-3 to reinforce my strong points while I am extrapolating on the subject of kingdom apostolic values and its principles, but it never really dawned on me to view this scripture from a redemptive perspective which is highly critical on the matters of advancing our kingdom mandate in this season.

During this last Easter week celebration, I took the time to do a series of teachings to highlight the importance and meaning of our salvation in Christ, and it’s advisable that we should often revisit this foundational truth even as we go on with the Lord.

The reality is, we cannot exhaust the ascended, revelatory, knowledge infused within the ministry of redemption. If creation is waiting in anticipation for its redemption, the logical reality will be that it’s those who have thoroughly understood the process and working of the various aspects of regeneration within the complex soul-life will be able to effectively and successfully carry out such a complicated task.

The important lesson from these 22 thousand, sandaled soldiers is that It’s so easy to make a declaration that we are taking back the land from the forces of darkness who have invaded our cities and space, it’s a different ballgame to be equipped ready for the warfare of reclaiming our lands.

The bottom line was 22 out of 33 thousand chosen warriors on the way to the battle were sent back home because something that ought to have been part of their default, the footing of readiness as the army of God was not there, hence, they were sent home. What could disqualify you and me in this season of preparedness and enrolment for the battle of the Lord?

I am sure you’ll agree with me that they’ve been times when we’ve assumed a sense of preparedness and readiness for an assignment only for a superior eye to access and scrutinize us, only to fish out of fear, weakness, ignorance, and unpreparedness.

How many times have we been told we are prepared and ready, particularly, from those who we assumed should know better than us; how many times we’ve presumed readiness in terms of receiving the necessary intelligence, training and capacity to engage the complexity of life like  becoming a wife, or ready to be a husband and a father?

What about raising children, going into business, taking that position of leadership either in ministry or in some corporate, secular position, only to realize we’ve been disqualified because something regarding our foundational footing and philosophy is not in order?

Redemption does just deal with our initial position of salvation but also addresses the dysfunctional realities within the core structure of our humanity. The ability to identify and accept the various dysfunctional, well-seated, Adamic has fallen believes and characters that have become part of our default operational system of thinking and behaving is a milestone in the journey of redemption.

“The LORD said to Gideon, “You have too many men with you for me to hand Midian over to you. Israel might brag and say, ‘We saved ourselves.’ Announce to the troops, ‘Whoever is scared or frightened should leave Mount Gilead and go back home.’ “So 22,000 men went back home, and 10,000 were left”. GOD’S WORD Translation. Judges 7: 2-3

One of the most unfortunate things we can accept as followers and members of the Christian faith is to allow the deception of the enemy to shut change, reduce, downplay, or even confuse the core meaning, purpose, and implications of our redemption. 90% of the challenges we are facing today are due to the lack of insightful knowledge of the implementation and impact of the ministry of redemption.

Moving from a presumptive notion to a more precise understanding will allow us to begin the adjustment process in our orientation to sound biblical concept of redemption. We cannot bring light to humanity if our spiritual ideology is out of synch due to a wrong and imbalance doctrinal knowledge.

The re-civilization of creation, according to the word of God, starts from the precise redemption of creation. Redemption [regeneration] is both the footing and the framework of the value worth of spiritual essence and maturity.

Once the foundation of what we define to be redemption is not in alignment with the divine architectural design principles of progressive spiritual development, whatever we seek to achieve or build, including our family values, or ministry objectives will never arrive at the divine intention of God.

THE ART OF BEAUTY IS A SPIRITUAL MINISTRY!

IN THE SPIRIT OF SPRING.

CONCLUSION

By Isaiah-Phillips Akintola

THE ART OF BEAUTY IS A SPIRITUAL MINISTRY!

Ecclesiastics 3:11

He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart…

The art of beauty is a multi-billion industry today, and this is good and recommended to assist those who need this industry the most. But the fact remains, many who have patronized this important, lucrative industry are realizing that they are still very much unsatisfied and unfulfilled, and this is not because the beauticians are failing in their art of practice.

On the contrary, the beauty industry has greatly improved in the last few decades with the help of new discoveries and advanced technology in the field. So, why are people still not getting satisfied with the way they look? Well, simply put, beauty is primarily about how one feels on the inside, and not really how you look as much as that also is important. One can look very lovely and attractive to others, and still feel very dirty, dysfunctional, and disconnected from the reality of life, and this is the case with many, unfortunately.

Secondly, these wealthy, high-class individuals are hoping that beauticians will help them carry out a surgical adjustment only God, the creator of all things visible and invisible can carry out without a single surgery on a human face or their body as the case may be. The fact is, there’s no beauty studio, well equipped enough to reconfigure [beautify your inner life] you in a manner that will give the kind of self-confidence in the quality of presentation that you’re searching.

The way you often are a clear reflection or indication of how you feel or think on the inside. One’s feeling or want or need speaks to us of how we see life and respond. Often, when our soul is crying out for something, we need to firstly probe the source of such a need before we jump into a goose chase. If we refuse to examine the cause of a need, we may end of only responding to something we thought we desperately need only to realize that it’s not what we need.

When we are not confident in who we are and allow that identity to mature in a manner that becomes our emblem of recognition, we can easily be charmed and seduced by what we see in others to the point of wanting to become like them. The search for something or people to add beauty [self-confidence or approval] into our lives is a taboo. We only get to see and honestly appreciate the beauty of others and things around us to the degree of our inner, spiritual awareness and reconfiguration.

A person that is yet to be spiritually awakened cannot see nor value his or her own beauty, nor will such a person be able to offer beauty to others. Beautify is of the Lord, and everything God does and represent to us is a deep reflection of his eternal nature which is glorious. The scripture above relates beauty to the state of one’s eternity.

Beauty lies within your spirit; beauty is an integral part of your spiritual makeup, and when you allow yourself to be known and truly reborn by your creator, not only will your true beauty be restored to you, but you’ll also see others in their true state of beauty.

The first thing that happens to man in the garden after the fall was the loss of the sense of beauty. Adam tried everything to cover his lack of sense of beauty and insecurity, but unfortunately, he will need to repeat the process again and again. Beauty is far beyond how we see ourselves and life; beauty is a manifest, presence of God that gives us confidence, courage, and standing to be what he wants us to be.

Every plant and flower stand in their own order of class and beauty without trying to be something else. When you look at the plants and flowers in the fields what do you see and how do you see yourself through the unspoken messages they declare?

Life is a mystery arranged in beauty, but you’ll have to look beyond face value to see the inner beauty of God in everything within and around you. I continually stand in amazement how God has hidden the most valuable treasure in common things to be picked and discarded like a flower.

The other day I was looking at the arrangements, structure, color, and character nature of each flower I’ve been able to snap in the picture. Could it be that we are today missing something critical message heaven is speaking to us in regard to our restoration just for the fact that they seem to be hidden in some so-called mundane places or things? There’s a fundamental question we need to ask ourselves in this season where presentation and look have almost shortchanged the essence of life and its values.

This is a day of beauty, but this beauty is not going to happen because of your facial look, or physical construct and expression; this beauty is going to be manifest through the inherent, character values of regeneration of our spiritual state before the Lord and creation.

IN THE SPIRIT OF SPRING

his presence -2.png

The mystery of beauty.
Spring is a reflection of the glorious beauty of Christ to creation.

God gave us beauty to express his glory and majesty.
One of the characters of God is beauty; beauty is a deep reflection of the Father’s creativity. Very few today appreciate nor understand the purpose of beauty, and due to this ignorance, the enemy has sought to pervert the beauty of God in and around us.

When we read and familiarize ourselves with the account of creation in Genesis, we begin to get the sense the Father’s eternal intention, which I believe is to express his glorious beauty, power, and majesty across the earth. The’s no way we can begin to talk about God without mentioning his beauty, majesty, and glory.

The beauty of God is still relevant teaching we should pay more close attention to even as we are invited to step into a new spiritual epoch. We can choose to shift our focus from the present darkness and begin to pay more close attention to the dawn of the new season, emerging out of the shadow of yesterday.

I believe that within the present challenges of darkness eclipsing the earth that there’s a dawning of a new day; a day where the light of God is becoming even brighter than when we first began.

The choice to choose to see beauty in ashes is a wonderful training we must endeavor to go through, so has to become a testimony of heaven’s brilliance in time where people find it difficult to see nor appreciate the investment of God’s treasure in earthen vessels.

I love to take pictures, and I’ve been able to use my camera to capture the most beautiful images out of the worst condition or situation around. Creating images out the chaotic, life, realities is something I cherish and love as a follower of Christ. it was not always like this. I have had my own share of seasons of pain, frustrations, disappointment, fear, discouragement and even the sense of giving up.

The Father was gracious to me to have given me another chance to see life through his eyes. Indeed, until we learn to see and understand ourselves and life itself through the eyes of the Father, we will never see anything beautiful about our lives.

It takes a person that has been invited to the hill of the Lord to see things and people from an elevated point. when the Lord brought me to have a glimmer of life from an ascended point, it changed my self-perception, and the way I generally see other and things.

Sprint is upon us again; what do you to see? Are you going to fix your eyes and attention on just the troubles, needs, pains, disappointments and failures around you? Or are you going left your eyes and behold the blooming of beautiful flowers springing up all around you?

Many of the flowers grow in the most disadvantaged and marginalized communities. The pain and challenges of our environment do not stop the flowers from blooming when their season arrives. this is a lesson we should learn as we see spring dawns upon us again.

Are you going to allow your fear and worry to rob of the beautiful things the Father desire to reveal to you in this season. There’s more to those beautiful butterflies and flowers blooming; there’s a spiritual message the Father is conveying to you, and you don’t want to miss his voice in this season of [spiritual] spring.

Within the chaotic challenges of life, beauty is all around us. The appreciation of beauty starts with the configuration of our self-perception. When we cannot recognize our own inner self-beauty, it will be hard press to value and appreciate the beauty of others or what is around us.

When the rainbow appears in the sky, it does not remove the reality of the needs, pains, and the complex challenges around us, but it sure does reminds us of the eternal, promised covenant of God to creation.

I live in an environment of two contrast, and I am sure that is this is the story of almost everyone living in one community or the other South Africa. You can be living in some worth define, expensive, beautiful estate when the bridge across your estate or complex is a total reflection a sharp contrast.

A contrast that highlight by the facts of marginalization, poverty, inequality, the lack of essential socioeconomic opportunities and so on. , To, therefore, define your status by where you live is some worth blind and inaccurate at least here in South Africa.

The legacy of Apartheid housing layout is still very much visible in the so-called post-Apartheid political state. I brought out this point to say that living in South Africa, particularly as believers, requires that we keenly understand the true definition of beauty and how to appreciate even in the midst of struggle. But to merely fix our eyes and attention on the darkness of our history is to rob ourselves in the ongoing transformation of a new nation emerging in beauty and glory.

Beauty is not measured nor determined by class, race, gender or wealth. The grace of Beauty is a character that is reflective in the value of self-awareness and self-worth, entrenched in the identity of every human, especially those who have discovered the unconditional, eternal love Christ for them.

It takes a person who appreciates the investment of God in his or her life to see the worth and value of God in others, and therefore, perceive their beauty and appreciates it as they grow and bloom for God and creation.

Beauty is an internal and eternal design of our unique identity and ability, or maybe, our disabilities as the case may be, this means that when we’re able to discern each other’s essence precisely, we can then begin to appreciate each one’s potential and contribution to life.

No one is an accident; we are all born and located where we are for a reason, that should positively impact and transform someone else life.

I try to see and appreciate beauty in everything around me. 90% of my picture are taking in places people will hardly ascribe as beautiful. I’ve been able to see grace, elegance, and beauty through the eyes of God because everything he created was designed excellent and beautiful.

The challenge many are faced with today, especially here in South Africa is that we’ve stopped seeing the inner beauty in ourselves and around us. We’ve become more fixative on others definition and description of beauty either through the social media or amongst other social groups and friends to the point of rejecting God’s eternal definition of who we are and what we represent on his behalf. We are a nation of beautiful people and landscapes, but we’ve allowed darkness to almost cover these beauty.

It’s like the more we absorb the identity others regarding who we are as a nation, the more we lose our moral values and identity.  The lack of seeing and appreciating our self-beauty has led us to become something terrible to each other to the point of manifesting the spirit of Cain-the spirit that kills his own brother.

When what is designed beautiful becomes altered by insecure dysfunctionality and corrupt Imagination, when have then directly, or indirectly turned the image of God into an idol of human craft that will eventually bring sorrow and pain to the heart. To design or craft an image that expresses the beautiful values of God for creation is to extend the glory of God within such fields of existence.

Beauty is a mystery that can only be correctly defined and understood the way God sees his creation in the beginning…after he created man, and he said, it was very good. Goodness and beauty are synonymous to the awakening of light of God within a heart that is once darkened by corruption. Beauty is the act of perfection in creation; it is not the expression of adornment.

Why do today’s Christians, mainly ladies use the term sexy to refer to a beautiful person or image? It’s important we note that sexy and beautiful are two different words that mean two completely different things. Please take note, when human minds and imagination begins to get transformed, they will start to enjoy the art of pure beauty.

Capturing the image of pure beauty through lens view of the transformed mind, passing through eye gate, expressed through the art of (sound) words, writings, or even paintings and photography is one of the glorious mysteries of the redeemed spirit that is called prophetic.

The prophetic is a reflection, and also an expression of the beautiful heart of the heart revealed through various arts and acts. Beauty is not just about what you see; it is about how you understand the value of what you see.

There’s beauty in sight
There’s beauty in sound
There’s beauty in words
There’s beauty in silence

Entering the art of appreciating beauty is first to learn to unlearn the perversion the soul has accumulated as the image beauty. Admiration is a beautiful thing when the soul is free of the wrong definition accumulated by false impression. Inspiration is wonderful when the mind has yielded to the creative life source of the Spirit. To think you can be inspired to create anything outside the life of God is to believe that a fish can survive living outside water.

Not acknowledging the giver of a thing doesn’t make the person less the giver of such a thing. Your acknowledgment of the presence of God in your life only creates more magnificent room for him to do much more you can ever imagine or think. Not recognizing and appreciating does not erode the fact that thing you have belongs to him. Beauty is of the Lord. All good and perfect gifts come from him.

I am an art student; this implies that every aspect of my life is by default drown to the creative life and nature of God…even science is an art of beauty in the sight of the creator. What he imagines, he creates, though we may not see it, the Lord is forever creating new things, yet, ancient in his eternity.

Do you know that the beauty of eternity is both past and future? There’s nothing new under the sun than to appreciate through the lens view of the Spirit what has been brought your path through providence.

enjoy the Sprint of your spiritual season…

CHRIST, OUR NATURAL HABITAT

Copy of THE PROPHETIC MINISTRY-21.png

CHRIST, OUR NATURAL HABITAT

Allow me to bother you again with one of the life-messages of wisdom. Many Christians today have become so naturally accustomed to specific and essential, practices to the extent that we have almost forgotten the transforming-life lesson we should be learning from them.

Yesterday evening my wife brought these plants home, and she immediately got a cup with water inside and dropped the plants in it. I didn’t give much attention to it except for the fact that she said one of the plants is a pine tree.

This morning while I was making myself a cup of tea, the Holy Spirit drew my attention to the cup and asked me, what do you see? I immediately cut the reason for the question; if the plants are not secure in the appropriate environment, they will eventually die in the next few hours or days depending on their longevity.

The right habitat of the plants does not only secure their existence but also their potential in growing and fulfilling their ordained purpose for life.

What a profound truth that we daily take for granted. Living daily in the environment that sustains who we are made to be is an ever-fresh revelation we should always cherish if we must remain relevant in life.

We’ve been placed in an environment that sustains everything we are, and should represent as humans made in the likeness of God. A life lived in the consciousness of the abiding presence of God is one that receives provision for life and godliness according to brother Peter.

Let me remind us that we do not have any excuse whatsoever not to remain in our natural habitat as followers of Christ, and for those who are none-Christians, nature speaks to us of who we are, and how we ought to be sustained in life even without a preacher.

This is the reason the book of Romans declares that as humans, we have no excuse for not living our lives according to the ethics code of God.

Romans 1:20
For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.

Why is it easy to see the repercussion of not transplanting a plant in their right habitat of water supply, yet, it seems so difficult to accept our own inherent sustained environment within the stream of living water?

While these plants do not have the will of their own to jump out of the water, and if they can, they will eventually die. We, however, see the will of these plants bound to the eternal objective of what they’ve been ordained for in their service to the use of man and the rest of creation.

Man, as the most superior of all Gods creation has been given a will because the one who created him has a will. However, we have not truly fathomed, understand, nor appreciate why we’ve been given a will that should be continually surrendered to the one who gave it to us as part of our daily devotional service to him who created us for his own good pleasure.

We’ve assumed that because we have a sense of where we came from, at least as Christians, immediately translates to been secured within the environment of our sustainability which of course is a terrible lie.

Refusing to consciously yield ourselves in obedience to the will of God is like a fish out of the water, assuming it will survive. Friends, this is not just some natural law, but a spiritual one, that should be daily sustained and in practice if we desire peace and fulfillment.

If you ever assume that you can survive with your supposed advanced intelligence and secured financial muscle without you abiding continually in the presence of Christ who is the source of all things, is a lie and you will soon die if you don’t remain in your natural spiritual habitat in Christ.

I hope these few lines will stir and motivate your spirit mind to start abiding in Christ our eternal source.
