PROPHETIC VOICE AND WARNING TO THE CHURCH AND PROPHETS REGARDING CURRENT GLOBAL AFFAIRS, ESPECIALLY IN AMERICA. PART ONE.

By Isaiah-Phillips Akintola
PROPHETIC VOICE AND WARNING TO THE CHURCH AND PROPHETS REGARDING CURRENT GLOBAL AFFAIRS, ESPECIALLY IN AMERICA.
THIS IS A TIMELY PROPHETIC WORD FOR THOSE IN THE PROPHETIC MINISTRY OR OFFICE, AND FOR THE MATURED AT HEART IN THE BODY OF CHRIST SEEKING TO UNDERSTAND THE NATURE OF THIS EPOCH. THIS IS ONE OF THE MESSAGES HEAVEN IS RELEASING AFTER THE 21 DAYS FAST JUST CONCLUDED.
We are in the midst of one of the most intense decisive prophetic season and fulfilments in human history. The manifestation of this prophetic unfolding will differ from region to region and nation to nation. It all depends on the accelerated awareness of how each environment understands the intentions of God. But it also depends on how the prophetic expressions of God are perceived in the spirit and whether they are, first, aligned to God’s intention; second, engaged through powerful prophetic intercessory engagement; or third, met with total blindness and religious ignorance to what is happening.
Many will interpret what is happening based on the mindset, belief system, and ideologies that have shaped them. This is problematic. Those who have an understanding of the times and seasons, who have been tracking the comings of God, the intentions of God, and the speakings of God, will see this moment and adjust themselves accordingly. They are spiritually ready to develop the spiritual rigor, the capacity, the competence, and the ability to stand their ground in the spirit, resisting the impact of many prophetic activities that are shaping and changing the narrative of the Earth.
Whether we like it or not, what is going on across the world, particularly in America, will have a ripple impact and effect on the life of all nations. This is why the churches in different parts of the Earth must be able to develop the spiritual capacity and intercessory spirit not just to pray and pray effectively, but to intercede in accordance with God’s divine council. There must be a soft landing for some of this impact.
The Danger of Misinterpreting God’s Movements
What is going on across the Earth today, particularly as we see the acceleration of leadership manifesting natures and characters that are ungodly, requires spiritual discernment. Yet we are seeing certain people, even those who are called to be prophetic, misinterpreting what we are witnessing. They are calling ungodly expressions godly, claiming them as part of the prophetic expressions of God. They say God is using certain individuals to root out and to purge those who are on the left in the things of God. But there is no left, middle, or right in the things of God.
There is just one order: a life that reflects godliness and righteousness. Even when judgment is being dealt because of certain narratives that have been accepted and applied within a region for years and decades, there is a way that God judges. That judgment is not a general thing. It is not something where even the innocent suffer indiscriminately. The judgment of God is always evident in the way that God’s righteousness is carried out through the individuals exercising and exhibiting that judgment.
This is critical to understand: God does not use a wicked person to express godly judgment and then bless and see that wicked person and then interpret the activity of that wicked expression as righteousness. This is where sound biblical understanding comes into play in the way we see things, understand things, and interpret them. Yes, God will raise anybody and anyone to carry out His intention. But we have to know how to see what God is doing, even through the lives of the wicked and the unjust, and precisely give interpretation to what He is doing. We cannot confuse a person that may be used by God to carry out something with righteousness itself. We cannot misinterpret that person’s character or actions as a reflection of righteousness when they are not.
I believe that is what we are seeing today. There is a lot of misinterpretation, and this is going to the heart of the church. It has already hit the heart of the church. Therefore, there has to be an understanding of how to interpret the times and where to find ourselves positioned.
The Prophet Must Stand on the Lord’s Side Alone
We cannot claim to be God’s servant or God’s prophet when God starts to move if we have no precise understanding and sight to, first of all, interpret what God is doing and give clarity. Sometimes giving clarity to what God is doing may put us on the wrong side in the eyes of people. People may look at us and say we are no longer siding with them or we are no longer with a certain group. But we are not supposed to be aligned with certain groups above truth. When the Lord appeared in the day when Joshua was fighting, and the spirit of the Lord appeared, the Bible says Joshua asked, “Are you for us or against us?” The Lord said, “I am neither. I am on neither side.”
The way God expresses His voice, His intentions, and His counsel within the realm of human life, particularly in a time of war, must be understood and must be given credence through sound biblical scripture and well-balanced spiritual maturity and understanding. This is something I believe we have to understand, or else we are going to fall into the trap of joining some popular charismatic expression that does not have a sound, mature, biblical understanding of what God is doing in the name of the prophetic.
The prophetic is very complex, particularly when you look at what is going on. This is why we say that the prophetic must be built on a sound, mature, biblical value system. When our spirit is well built and well established on the revelation of Christ and the way Christ expressed Himself while He was on Earth, that gives us insight into how to speak, how to interpret, and how to relate to political, social, economic, and church realities.
Upgrading Our Prophetic Understanding for This Season
It is important that many whom God has called into the prophetic ministry understand what we are seeing unfolding in this crucial season. The way we understood the prophetic in the past three to four decades has to be upgraded to give a better and more mature understanding so we do not lose the church in the name of siding with a particular group because they seem to be favoring our expectations or our sense of understanding.
Understanding has to be engaged season by season so we do not acquit what God is judging and judge what God is acquitting. This is the wisdom that is needed. Wisdom is building a house in this season.
Like I said, we are in the midst of one of the most powerful prophetic seasons in human history. Because a nation like America has played a major role in times past in regard to God’s prophetic activity, we are seeing the increase of the spirit of prophetic activity rising in America. This, of course, manifests in both positive and negative ways.
While we may be seeing revival, awakening, and reformation on one side in America, we are also seeing judgment. We are also seeing cruelty. We are also seeing evil rise with similar fervor. America has basically now become an epicenter of true spiritual rising. One side is capturing the spirit of the Lord; the other is capturing the spirit of the antichrist. It is important that we have clarity on how to interpret these two risings. Of course, we know the house of God will surpass and will outlast the evil that is shaping the nation of America. Whatever is happening in America, as we can see, impacts the nations of the Earth. That is the leadership responsibility God gave America decades ago. We understand that the enemy also uses that level of influence to perpetuate his evil into the nations based on what God has done and said.
Where God Moves, the Enemy Also Pitches His Tent
Wherever we see God move powerfully and mightily, we also see the enemy raise up his own head within that environment to perpetuate his evil. When we see God moving in a particular place, it is important that we have mature people at the gate who can give us insight and understanding of what God is doing but also position themselves at the gate so we don’t have a false implication or a false manifestation confusing people.
That’s what the devil does. Wherever God moves, Satan also pitches his tent. When you look at Isaiah chapter 2, the Bible says in the last days, the mountain of the house of Jacob will be exalted and will rise above every other mountain. Now, the rising of the house of God is amidst the rising of every other mountain. That is a powerful principle that is unfolding before our very eyes, and we need to understand the difference between the mountain of God rising and other mountains that are also rising.
While we see righteousness and godliness being exalted, we are also seeing simultaneously Babylon raising its ugly head, raising its voice, and also challenging the intentions and the counsel of God. It is going to take mature men and women who can help us differentiate and identify the difference. Otherwise, people that God has called, that God has anointed, and that God has used in times past within certain prophetic environments may find themselves being led astray because of power and influence, money and position and platform.
They are being led by the enemy into a different camp that is not of God because they are no longer able to differentiate the mountain of God from the mountain of Babylon. Babylon is a reflection of the opposite of what God is doing. Whatever God is doing and is gaining ground and gaining increased precedence, always look out for something that reflects the opposite that is not of God. This is why the Bible says, “By their fruit we will know them.”
Discerning the Spirit Behind the Words
We can no longer identify a powerful prophetic voice just by someone saying the right thing. We have to be able to identify the spirit, the nature, and the character of what that person is saying. Does it align to the consistency of the Word of God in terms of sound doctrine? Does it reflect the values of Christ? Does it reflect the nature of Christ? Does it reflect the consistency of heaven’s divine intention?
Prophecy is one thing. The character and the nature of God carrying that prophecy is another thing. Today we have men who may say the right thing, but the spirit behind what they are saying is, in fact, dubious. It is a reflection of an agenda that is not in alignment with the will of God. They say what they say because that is the only way they can maintain the crowd and maintain their followers. They always say what people want to hear because they have built a large crowd around themselves. They built this crowd around themselves, so they don’t want to lose that crowd. They will always say things that seem to be accurate and seem to be right, but the heart is tilting toward a narrative that is not godly.
They are afraid to speak truth that will challenge people in power. They are afraid to speak things that will challenge even their own constituents. When you have a prophet who always speaks in a manner that people appreciate, that their constituents love, that the nation they are speaking on behalf of appreciates, and that political leaders love, you can be rest assured that such a prophet might have been compromised. It is easy to lose influence when power is no longer on your side. It is easy to lose crowd and to lose money when you are saying things that are not in alignment or in agreement with narratives that used to support you.
A Prophet Wields a Double-Edged Sword
A prophet is one who wields the sword of the Spirit, and that sword oftentimes will swing on both sides. That is what the Bible says: the Word of God is quick and powerful, sharper than any two-edged sword. A two-edged sword means it cuts you and it cuts the other person. It is something that flows on both ends.
A prophet should not have a favorite congregation, a favorite platform, or a favorite crowd. A prophet must always be on the Lord’s side, not on the side of a nation, some political leaders, some political group, or some denomination. A prophet must always be on the side of the Lord. This is why the Lord spoke on that great day when Joshua met Him: “I am on neither side.”
Are you on the Lord’s side, or are you on the side of a political or religious group? It is important to say that God is not a politician. God is not a Republican. Neither is He a Democrat. God may use people in politics to advance the purpose of His prophetic intention, which, of course, is always established on righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. When the time comes for God to judge that which is evil within a nation, even that judgment is a reflection of His righteousness.
Therefore, when a prophet stands to speak on behalf of God and gives direction toward what God is doing in a nation, that voice must reflect the consistency of the nature of God and the character of God. A prophet cannot speak in assumption or give a word of prophecy that is not in alignment with biblical nature and character.
The Testimony of Jesus Is the Spirit of Prophecy
I know this is a very complex arena, but the nature of Christ is what gives us the ability to understand the currency of a true prophetic voice. The Bible says that the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. This spirit reflects the way, the truth, and the life of Christ within that which is being said and that which is being revealed. Anyone who does not have clarity of the character and the nature of the speakings of God within a particular region will misinterpret the heart of God and, in fact, look at what God is doing and give it a different expression or narrative because that person is not spiritually mature.
Maturity is a must in the days we are living in. Understanding of the times and the seasons cannot be outside the context of the will of God moving in the eschatological reality of God’s intention over a city or a nation. This is something that must be looked into based on the overall prophetic counsel of God, which, of course, is revealed through the ministries of God from the Old Testament into the New Testament. This is why many in times past missed it when they saw certain expressions and manifestations. They called it what they thought it was, but alas, God was not there.
The Need for Seasoned Corporate Prophetic Judging
We have got to understand that in the days we are living, the way God speaks must be tracked from the way God is impressing His heart to His prophets. This is why the Bible says, “Let two or three prophets speak, and let the others judge.”
These are the days where we need corporate prophetic men and women who are sound in the knowledge of God’s Word, and their purpose and responsibility is to judge prophetic words. Of course, we know the word “judge” or “judgment” is not one of condemnation. It is one that speaks to accurate discernment, being able to define what is right from what is wrong. As the Bible says in the book of Hebrews chapter 5, those who by the use of the Word are able to identify what is right from what is wrong.
We need prophets whose spirits are mature in the nature of Christ, mature in the wisdom of Christ, mature in the counsel of God, so that when they speak and they are giving direction, people can trust what they are saying. Not based on just their word, but based on the consistency of what they said through the nature of God and the speaking of the Holy Spirit. We need spirits that are able to understand what is going on but also spirits that can give us clarity and intention based on the soundness of God’s Word. Not based on emotion. Not based on interest. Not based on favoritism. Not based on human ideology. These are the demands of God for our day.
What America Needs Today
We need some prophetic men and women who can rightly divide the Word of God and give direction in terms of what God is doing within the nation and within society. For example, what is going on in America today: America needs sound prophetic voices. Not echo chambers. Not favorite pastors and leaders who call themselves prophets. Not some individuals who, because they have got a certain crowd and name for themselves because they prophesied what the people like, or even because they gave prophetic words that have come to pass in the past, are now no longer tracking with God.
We have got to understand what America needs today are people who have mature spiritual understanding and who can call a spade a spade and not something else, regardless of who is going to feel bad or how they are going to lose their influence or money. A prophet must always speak the heart of God no matter the condition of the person in power or influence. A prophet must be able to give clear prophetic direction in a manner that will give people perspective and understanding of what is going on, not sounding like something that everybody wants to hear. A prophet must always bring the heart of God so that the intentions of God can become even clearer and plain to the people.
The Crisis of Prophetic Compromise in Our Generation
We are witnessing in this hour a dangerous trend among those who carry prophetic mantles. They have become more concerned with maintaining their platforms than maintaining their purity. They have become more interested in preserving their popularity than in preserving the integrity of the prophetic word. This is a grievous matter before the Lord.
The prophetic office was never designed to be a career path or a means of financial gain. It was never meant to be a tool for political influence or social advancement. The prophet stands between God and humanity, carrying the weighty responsibility of accurately representing the heart, mind, and intentions of the Almighty. This is not a light thing. This is not a game. This is not an opportunity for self-promotion.
When a prophet begins to measure their words by public opinion rather than by divine revelation, they have ceased to be a prophet. When they calculate what they will say based on who might be offended or what support they might lose, they have abandoned their calling. When they tailor their message to fit the narrative of a political party, a denomination, or a popular movement, they have sold their birthright for a bowl of porridge.
