YOUR GIFT IS NOT ENOUGH FOR EFFECTIVE MINISTRY

 By Isaiah-Phillips Akintola

When a relationship that ought to effectively drive our corporate, assigned prophetic activity is merely built on the peripherals of some humanistic, civil, politically correct ideology, we can be rest assured that we are not ready to confluence as Christ regents in matters of kingdom civilization and engagement for the redemption of creation.

If Church leaders are afraid to speak truth to themselves, how can we corporately speak truth to the powers that be? While it is highly critical that we learn to be respectful and civil with each other, it is, however, more critical we learn of truth and to speak the truth openly and cautiously to each other so we can corporately grow in the unity of the faith according to sound, biblical injunction. The fear of being rejected for speaking truth to each other is a clear sign that our understanding of the input of the ministry of the Saints to each other is still very shallow and immature to say the least.

I am afraid to declare that such kind of relationship will never produce the in-depth, intended objective of the Spirit, regardless of how powerful we may individually move in our ministry gifts. Ministry gift is not what perfects the saints; it is of rather the experiential life and nature that shapes the wineskin that houses the gifts and their various functional capacities in the community. Gifts without the maturing of wineskin will do more damage to the construction and perfection of the ecclesia.

Jesus, at the age of 12 was already super gifted but had to submit to the life-process of maturing and perfecting the wineskin that will ultimately house and effectively express his gift. I have met many gifted folks who are yet to be matured in the quality of life that can carry and dispense what they’ve been gifted with.

To build a ministry or relationship from the standpoint of a powerful gift without the essential character quality lifestyle to regulate and dispense such a gift is a setup for the manifestation of the spirit of pride that will ultimately lead to destruction.

This is one of the reasons Paul warned Timothy not to commit spiritual things to [immature] novice. Being gifted without a refined character to carry and represent such gift is one of the most dangerous things than can happen to you as a Christian.

The need to go through seasons of spiritual development, coupled with real-life challenges is indeed helpful in shaping and imprinting the right character qualities needed in operating our gifts. I was a highly gifted person that was so obvious to many around me, but the Lord brought me to a place where he paralyzed that gift for a season because he needed to work on certain blind spots of my life that I could not see not accept even when I was shown by others.

A significant hindrance to our corporation as gifted leaders in the Body of Christ is center around pride and insecurity. When we are yet to learn, as ministers of the gospel the significance of the ministry of the Saints, we cannot effectively function in our individual ministries to the world and creation.

Our definition of ministry is entirely out of biblical order and priority. We judge and approve each other based on gifts, influence and material acquisition and not on the level of spiritual experience and maturity.

There are people I have met on my journey of spiritual apostolic transition, including young Millennials who are still in the thirty-fold reality of the understanding of spiritual things, who have tried to undermine my prophetic assignment because they cannot find around me those material things they’ve been asked to look for when a so-called ‘seasoned apostle or prophet’ stand to speak. In most cases when I feel like giving them a piece of my heart in rebuke, the Lord often correct me not to do so, because that would mean that I am subjecting myself to their ungodly, carnal opinion.

Our measuring standard and values of spiritual matters need to be drastically readjusted if we are ever going to enter the prophetic scope of divine engagement; the correction of sight must be a major priority for many of us particularly here in Africa. The condition of poverty propelled through the false gospel of mammon and materialism has almost destroyed the right footing and template of sound spiritual relationship and leadership in the Body of Christ.

There’s a company of individual’s heaven has prepared and sent that will help us embrace the process of the maturation of our gifts and wineskin, but we need humility and the spirit of mutual submission to awaken our hearts to see and embrace them. Regardless of how gifted you are in this season, you need to come to terms with the current emphasis of the Lord, which is, all gifts must be collapsed into the character lifestyle of the Spirit of Sonship.

This means that the Lord desires a corporate man in the earth that will function in the ascended power of the ascended Christ. Gifts were only given to the Body of Christ when Christ ascended on high.  Therefore, only those with the ascended character lifestyle of Christ can function in the full potential of their callings and gifts. The emphasis of the Lord for this hour is a lifestyle that is correctly configured to house not just our gifts but to understand the humanity of others even as we seek to connect with their spirituality for effective ministry.

This lesson will assist us to discern others, particularly leaders beyond just the operation of their gifts. The anointing is a seal of our calling and assignment, but to effectively function in the anointing, we also need to be developed in the Spirit of wisdom and understanding such that our insight and knowledge regarding other folks can tamper with matured ministry of mercy and grace. The ministry of mercy and grace are the trophies of our victory through the journey of accurate transition of our gift and callings. When we are able to finally see people the way the Lord sees them, then, we are able to relate and flow in the spirit of mercy and grace as we corporately share hearts and gifts together for the kingdom advancement.

To engage with a well matured, apostolic [value system] ministry on this third day, the church, especially, its leaders and the elders must learn the routine of handling necked truth with wisdom, mercy and grace without being ashamed of each other’s weakness of failure. One of the principal characters of truth is that it exposes the very core of our being, and when we are truly open to others and their gifts, we will not only see their ability, but we shall also see and share in their disabilities, and this is highly critical in the principle of relationship in administering our ascended ministry gifts.

If we are unable to effectively manage the weaknesses and exposures of each other’s blind spots and spiritual defects, we are merely playing church and peddling with things meant for mature elders, seers, prophets, and watchmen at the gate. It’s about time the church and its leadership leaves behind childish ways and thinking.

When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me. 12 For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known. 1 Corinthians 13: 11-12

THE POWER OF LEARNING BY ASKING THE RIGHT QUESTION

THE PROPHETIC MINISTRY.jpg

THE POWER OF LEARNING BY

 ASKING THE RIGHT QUESTION

The principle of undressing for redressing

BY ISAIAH-PHILLIPS AKINTOLA

Do you know that your destiny could be hanging on the kind of question you’ve been asking yourself for decades? You need to move from the ‘why to the what’ question if you desire to see a change in your life, career, and relationships

Many have failed in the past, including me to some degree, not because we are not born intelligent, but because we are deficient in asking and answering questions. Asking questions has their advantages and of cause their disadvantage if wisdom is not allowed to guide.  Questions can provoke as they can inspire. When a question is cynical, then you need the highest grade of wisdom and intelligence to effectively respond, so you’re not entrapped. Yet, there can be no development without asking questions, particularly the right ones. The technological advancements made today are a direct result of questions asked.

Questions can open a new frontier of knowledge, creativity, development, and productivity if we know how to ask the right questions. One of the primary ways God trains and develop his disciples, particularly, those who will be entering the prophetic arena, is through asking them a series of questions. The Bible is filled with chapters and verse where man is not the one asking questions, but God himself doing the asking.

The purpose of asking and answering questions is to test intelligence. The word of God is filled with questions and answers, and if we learn how to process, question either from a deep philosophical point or from an ascended spiritual point, we have the edge in dealing with the highly complex realities of life.  The technic, or should I say, the philosophy of asking and answering a question is one of the most important keys to success in any field of existence, yet, it is the list taught in schools, and regrettably, in most Church communities today.

The issue of the understanding question and knowing ‘the how’ to process them before answering is something I’ve discovered as one of the most important keys to human development and transformation yet; it is increasingly becoming less understood by many, particularly the 21st-century society.  Many of us have been asking the wrong questions all our lives and that’s the reason we still seem to be stocked in the same old spot of mentality.  An immature person does not know nor understands how to process life’s question, particularly, when they are spiritually based. I grew up asking questions but unfortunately, they were the wrong questions.

Many fallen humans began life on the wrong footing, but that does does not mean that the good plan and purpose of the Father for our lives has changed because we asked the wrong question. God’s plan for us are eternally set to bring us to the place of his ordained prophetic program but we need to know how the principle of life works in order to set in motion the right value system that aligns us to effective living.

You cannot start your life or the life of your children by asking the wrong questions as assume you will end up in the destined planned of the Father for your life.  When your life begins with wrong influence, environment, people, challenges, seemingly failure, there’s every tendency that you start processing those challenges with the wrong emotion which is usually done by asking the why question. The question of why did my Father leave my Mom?  Why did my uncle rape me and my sister, why can’t I be smart like that other girl in my class? Why am I an orphan?  why didn’t I get the Job? Why do I keep going back to the same sin?

Due to asking the question of why, many today are faced with the grim dilemma of disappointment, discouragement, and suicide because they seem to be asking the wrong question. The principle of motivating yourself is edged on the concept of asking the right question. You can also be demotivated by either not understanding what is taking place around or within you, or simply asking the wrong question and listening effectively for to the correct answer.

The wrong question will never lead to the right answer. I am sure you’ve heard of the statement, there’s nothing like asking the wrong question, that may be true to a certain level, but if you genuinely desire to fast-track your destiny, you need to learn the art of asking the right question. This challenge, as I have noticed it is not just a secular human issue, but more of a spiritual one if we critically examine it.

How many times you’ve tried reading the Bible or process what a passage is saying, but you seem to be clueless understanding what the scripture is communicating? How many times have you tried praying, but seem not to hear any response from God? The challenge is not just about what we are seeking in terms of prayer but the context of how we frame our request before the Father. It is often about not asking the right question when engaging with the things of the Spirit.

The matters of the Spirit just like in the natural are based on how we intelligently process questions or problems. If your concept of treating life challenges either in marriage, school, or workplace is based on why and not what, there’s every possibility that you will not arrive at the correct answer, and you know what that means, the problem continues unabated.

THE TWO MOST IMPORTANT QUESTION

There are two most important questions you will ever ask in your journey of life, and they are the question of why and what.  How you view these two questions speaks a lot about knowledge, wisdom, and perspective to life. If your view of life is fixative on why? You will not only be spiritual and emotionally drained and be limited in your options of answers, but might also be psychologically and emotionally crippled from reaching your life full potential.

The what question gives you the insight of opportunity to see your life and its complex challenges or even the trials playing out on a daily basis as a real opportunity to turn failures into triumph than being a victim. The why question makes us a victim rather than an indeed engineered system solution. How you approach the subject of ‘why and what’ is as critical as understanding the essence of your existence. If have highlighted this point as an important pointer to moving towards that position the Father will have you and me come into in this next phase of our advancement in spiritual realities.

Let’s stop living our lives on the why me question, and start moving towards asking the Lord, what are you doing so I may align myself to your will. aligning your will to the Father’s divine purpose begins with knowing the what question. When the what question becomes clear, then you are ready to face any challenge, trial or need because you have a perspective on the problem or battle at hand. Many have given up before the breakthrough arrived, many have opted for separation and divorce before the breakthrough comes because they were building their expectation on why instead

PROPHETS AS APOSTOLIC BUILDERS

PROPHETS AS APOSTOLIC BUILDERS.

By Isaiah-Phillips Akintola

…This is why Moses was warned when he was about to build the tabernacle: “See to it that you make everything according to the pattern shown you on the mountain.” Hebrews 8:5

The church in its inception

It took about 2oyear plus, after the establishment of the Jerusalem Church before the Antioch church step into the main stream of what the Church was ordained to look like in its function. For twenty years, the church birthed on the day of Pentecost, battled brethren, and colleagues who still insisted on maintaining the former, Jewish, ceremonial religious tradition as part of the New Testament community.

This engrained, religious insistence will often bring sharp argument and sometimes, quarrel and division within the leadership church community, until the Antioch model emerged, which was built on the development and maturity of certain ministry gifts like that of the prophet and teacher. Ministry gifts are divine tools and machineries for the construction of the house of God. Where there’s a lack of knowledge and ascended wisdom in the operative formation and construction of ministry gifts in the house, the Saints will not only remain immature in the ways of the Spirit, but will also lack the right inputs to grow into the full realization of their assigned purpose as ministers to their society and generation.

It is worthy of note that the terms Apostles was not mentioned in the introduction of the establishment of the Antioch Church not because there were no apostles in the formation of the church, or the ministry of the apostles had been relegated behind or rejected. No. it is because the church, by designed had already become apostolic in its constitution. It is important to note that in the formation of this Antioch community, we immediately see the introduction of the ministry of prophets and teachers, meaning they were more than one, as the apostolic arrowheads, shaping and aligning the spiritual outlook and direction of this Church that was about to go global in its outreach.

When you combine the ministry of prophets and teachers in the building up of an apostolic initiative, what you get according to Acts chapter 13 is the direct voice of the Spirit of the Lord, bringing insight, perspective, and clarity to the next marching order of the Father for his Church. The reason for highlighting these two gifts is for the single fact that their concept of reasoning and processing the things of the Spirt is by default different.

The prophet, in his delivery of eternal truth, is more poetic most times, abstract in his concept and idea of unveiling the mind of the Lord. This is well noted in the scriptures, when the Father speaks to the prophet, he will usually use symbols and similitudes, parables and proverbs, nature, and events that sometimes may even look irrelevant to establish a profound truth about the kingdom.

Half of the messages and teachings Our Lord Jesus Christ delivered were done prophetically, because they were designed to be kept for a particular season when the nobles and mature in heart can unlock them. For it is the glory of God to conceal a matter, but the glory of kings is to search out that which has been concealed.  The frontal lob of the prophet’s brain is highly developed in its sensory experience, and that immediately explained why prophets, or those with highly developed prophetic gifts are usually associated with in-depth knowledge, wisdom, sound judgement, creativity, and problem-resolving.

The teacher

The teacher on the other hand, is very concrete, detailed, and fixative on facts, figures and doctrinal establishment of truth. He has the grace not only to search and find out the very detailed intention of the Father, particularly, through the written word, but also to see that such findings are carried out to the detail and standard of the Spirit.

The teacher establishes the Saints on the inherent word of life; he builds based on precept upon precept line upon line, a little here, a little there, until there is a thorough establishment of heaven’s prophetic agenda. He is not in a hurry; he waits until truth is arrived in whatever area of obscurity receives the right illumination of truth. He complements and regulate the fivefold ascended grace and gift of the Church.  All of these ministry gifts, especially, that of the prophet and teacher are all part of the very life and nature of Christ.

God is a mathematician and much as he is a poet! When you combine these two powerful spiritual gifts in any aspect of divine initiative, you cannot but to arrive at the place of God’s divine light and intentions.  I have had the opportunity in few occasions to encourage my audience how the Lord used my struggle in Dyslexia to build and enhance my ministry. What was defined to be a cognitive limitation, turned out to be my greatest form of strength in executing what I have been ordained to do in life. The Father has not placed limitation on any called or assigned ministry gift, except the limit he placed there for his own purpose, and the truth is we all have certain realities of limitation that are designed to be complemented and perfected by others.

My point is, I was grace and favored enough not only to have teachers around me, who stirred and compliment my gifts, but also had the rare opportunity as a prophet to be endowed with a strong teaching grace and capability to express the undiluted word of God in a very systematic manner. I consider this special combination of gifts as a great favor and honor from the Lord for a specific purpose I believe is still unfolding.

The pattern of the Antioch Church is becoming more pronounced in this season of reconstructing the broken walls and burnt gates of the Church across nations. The Father is doing what he did during the emergence of the ministry of the prophets and teachers in the early church, and we need to key into the model of this divine reformation and restoration.  How today’s church needs to take a cue from this profound apostolic blueprint, established according to Acts chapter 13.

Prophetic governmental building

I have, therefore, in few lines try to amplify what the ministry of the prophet means and represent in terms of apostolic building. The prophetic ministry indeed, has been abused and misused today, to the degree that the very intention of its function in the Body of Christ is almost forgotten.

Now in the church at Antioch there were prophets and teachers: Barnabas, Simeon called Niger, Lucius of Cyrene, Manaen (who had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch) and Saul. Acts 13:1

A prophet, who is also known as a seer, is an embodiment of the Father’s desire, will, purpose, and intention for creation and the building up of the ecclesia. He or she is a sent one, commissioned and assigned to operate in what is known as a prophetic office. This office is his governmental grace and jurisdiction of functionality. His office is part of the membership of the fivefold, ascended ministry gifts, established to equip and build up the Body of Christ into maturity in Christ.

The prophet is the eye and ears of the Lord within the house he is sent, while submitting his prophetic gift in mutual trust, respect, and in accountability to the core eldership represented within the local church community, and the city he operates from. Though this is not usually the case, due to the wrong, dysfunctional, administrative structure of humanist, religious system operating within most church communities.

Very few church communities today, truly reflect what a New Testament apostolic order of the church community should define and represent. The Babylonian pyramid church leadership system has completely made it almost impossible for the ascended gifts to effectively function in their divine, apostolic governmental order and pattern.

The difference between pastoral and prophetic function

A pastor, in comparison, by default, is a resident overseer, assigned by the Father in the spirit of knowledge and wisdom to feed, nurture, protect, and equip members of the household of faith under his spiritual watch.

A prophet by default unveils the progressive, revelatory truth and life of Christ to the body, and regions, in a manner that injects new and updated spiritual emphasis and philosophy of the kingdom of God in a way that brings to bear the order and values of God’s divine intent to every aspect of human existence.

The concerns of a prophet are narrow down to the moral desire, feelings, and intentions of the Father, regarding any person, situation, or condition of the earth, particularly, within his church. He or she establishes the model value, standard, and principle of the kingdom of heaven either in the place of the personal and corporate building of the ecclesia.

The core function of the prophetic office

A prophet deals with shifting in seasons and the atmospheric order within cities and regions across the earth, and such kind of prophetic office may not dwell too long in a particular region, church, or city, depending on the timeline of the sent prophet’s mandate.

Some prophets are sent to churches to help the house for a period, primarily in the reshaping of the wineskin of such house in order to be prepared and ready to receive the new emphasis and outpouring mandate of the Father for the season. Others are sent to strengthen the hand of the Setman, mostly through mutual relationship and submission, until there’s a new season of refreshing and empowered, released of grace and wisdom upon such a Setman and the house, then he’s released to another house or region as he continues to function as a true witness of Jesus Christ among the Body of Christ.

A prophet is one sent with a clear mandate to declare a fresh word of the Lord with a strong governmental, apostolic edge and authority over an atmosphere. He or she is called to disciple nations as he works with the church communities that are willing to open to his unique ministry gift.

A true prophet is nomadic by default with the grace to construct and restore divine order, foundations and spiritual pillars for the establishment of the people of God in the earth. The office of a true, ascended prophet is borderless while he’s locally based.

HOW FIRM IS YOUR FAITH, AND HOW PREPARED ARE YOU TO DEFEND IT IN A SECULAR SOCEITY?

DEFEND-YOUR-FAITH

HOW FIRM IS YOUR FAITH, AND

HOW PREPARED ARE YOU TO DEFEND IT?

by Isaiah-Phillips Akintola

The father is allowing the New Age culture and philosophy of the days we live in to challenge and make demands on every aspect of what you claim to know or believe, to the level that you will almost begin to doubt even the very experience you once had with God in his presence or at the backside of the wilderness.

The society, many of us live, particularly here in Africa is still very much insulated from the brutal attacks and criticism confronting many of our Christian brethren in Europe, America, and a major part of the Arab world, and am afraid it’s only a matter of time before that flood of full-blown assault reaches our shoreline. My worry, however, is, how ready and prepared are we taking into the cognizance the weak, unbiblical promotion of what is termed Christianity today.

As long as what determines the major core of our Christianity still centers around personal economic breakthrough, am afraid, we cannot be fully prepared for this evil tide coming. As long as our ideology of Christian faith is still very much tide to our ancestral traditional beliefs and culture, we are no match for the flood of deception coming to sweep many away. For as long as our desire is to merely select what suit our narratives faith for our own self-center gain, we will certainly not be able to stand and challenge the issues of our day.

1 Peter 3:14-17
14 But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. “Do not fear their intimidation; do not be shaken. 15 But in your hearts sanctify Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to articulate a defense to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But respond with gentleness and respect, 16 keeping a clear conscience, so that those who slander you will be put to shame by your good behavior in Christ. 17 For it is better, if it is God’s will, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil.

What a template of truth that lays for us our marching order in engaging the 21st century, humanist, New Age society already knocking down many churches in the west. Unfortunately, I do not think many of our leaders see the urgency of this eminent battle coming to our shoreline of the church in Africa. Since we live in a borderless cyber world, we need to get our priority straight if we must be prepared to face this assault of hell.

This scripture outline for us what we need to do in terms of positioning ourselves as we respond to the sons of darkness. We will have to go beyond the equation of bible passages to knowing and understanding how to break down the principles and values of truth in a manner that allows us to effectively and strategically answer the hard question of the Pilate, Pharaoh, and the queen of Sheba approaching our kingdom space.

The presumptive and assumptions of Christian theology, and of course, the populace false sense of spirituality floating around many of our church communities in the last two decades or so, has cost the church dearly, particularly with the teens and young adult. The inability to define, and precisely articulate in clear terms what truth is, and how truth relates to their day to day choices and productivity are a major problem I have noticed. When Pilate asked Jesus Christ, what is the truth, he was actually echoing the general philosophical challenge the world of his day was faced with.

The lack of a logical sense and the spiritual base to correlate the entire Greek philosophy of spirituality in a powerful political and military dominance of the Roman empire was a major concern not just to Pilate, but to the greater philosophers and thinkers of the ancient world. This philosophical problem explained where the Greeks have so many gods that literally competes with human’s population just like the Hindu religion of India.

What further compounded this issue was the fact that some bunch of so-called illiterates who claimed to be the very custodian of the embodiment of the truth kept preaching and teaching everyone that Christ is the truth, and they were proving the facts of their message both in doctrine and through the power of signs and wonders. The early believers clearly understood the doctrine of the apostolic truth, and their lifestyle mirrored this truth for the rest of the world to see.

The unfortunate thing is, Pilate never waited for Jesus Christ reply to his question, I have no doubt that our Lord would have given him a full definition and explanation of who the truth is, and how he can connect to this truth as the only way, the only truth, and the only life to God the author of all things seen and unseen.

There’s no doubt society today, just as in the days of Pilate, are also in deep search for the answer to this great question, what is the truth? The question of what is the truth is both an ancient and contemporary question, but many Christian leaders do not really see the importance of the question as a powerful strategy to win the world back to Christ.

While we claim we know the answer to this great question, many, however, have stopped searching the word like the Bereans Christian for the right principle of conveying the mystery of truth to a blind world in a manner that can restore their sight. today, Spiritism and false beliefs have replaced the quest for sound, biblical knowledge that can offer the answer to a world in need to God. there are just too many in the church who have become religious Pharisees, meaning, they are merely professing a faith their heart and thought no longer follow.

To seek to accept or declare biblical truth that your own life’s values and philosophy does not agree with in practice is the highest level of self-delusion if you ask me. What makes the truth true to you I, not a matter of who preached, or taught it, it’s a matter of personal conviction.

Conviction is the footing of establishing truth within human conscience. When truth, or anything that sounds like the truth to you, finds its way into the human conscience it alters one’s perspective and belief. However, when biblical truth which is both written and revelatory by designed finds its root deep into the human heart, it redesigns conscience in a man to remove the fallen idea of how humans see right and wrong to how heaven defines truth.

We know that there are three compound words that hold Christianity together like a cord of sound spirituality; and they are faith, hope, and love. Each of these words defines the basis of how we see and relate both to Christ, his Church, and the world in general. If any of these three are not properly understood, and corporately flowed in relating to life and the various challenges thrown to us, we will, at some point begin to doubt our foundation and trust in what we believe.

One of the three compound words is faith, and personally, I think we still have a long way to go in truly understanding what faith actually means from God’s viewpoint. However, Hebrews chapter 6 informs us that faith is not abstract but rather substantial. If this is true which I know it is, how do we substantiate this truth with biblical facts in a manner that our faith does not stand in the knowledge and wisdom of men?

Indeed, faith is the [element] substance of things we hope for… and the very evidence of things not seen, the big question then will be, what defines and constitute the substantial evidence of such faith? Too many Christians, as a religious practice now and confesses what the scripture says, but in actual fact, their belief is actually established on something else.

This something else is that which family, society, friendship, or past circumstance that falsely establish within the subconscious. When our Lord Jesus Christ made this profound statement, these people worship me with the mouth, but their heart is far from me, he was establishing the basis of duality within a man’s ideology that says you confess Christ with your mouth but can also place your allegiance or philosophy somewhere else.

The reality is, the Lord is not seeking for a ritual of worship from his followers. In actual fact, he was seeking a concept of lifestyle individuals called worshipers, whose philosophy and culture of existence is firmly established around the very character nature of his person. Christ by design is the anointing, or the grace that enabled Jesus, the Son of man to function within the reality of what has been prophetically written about him.

The days we live demands we go beyond the veil of what we believe and confess, to the next realm of experiencing truth to the degree that the truth becomes the very philosophy and culture that drives the understanding of our interaction and engagement with every aspect of existence.

Don’t get me wrong, I am not suggesting that we will not be challenged; in fact, the very purpose of coming into this realm of truth is to be able to stand firm in the days where you and I will be challenged like Joseph in Egypt, and Daniel in Babylon.

Only they who know their God will be able to stand and do exploit in this new day. Remember, the scripture says the devil also believes and tremble, but such believe did not cause him to change his mind. A believe that carries no power to change our stand and position is a weak belief!

There are simply too many ‘truth’ being postulated out there without a concrete, solid foundation laid within the hearts of the community of the body of Christ to hold firm these revelatory, apostolic truths. Many members of our churches are starting to give in under the weight of some so-called revelation they’ve been running with without precise, solid footing to hold the such ‘truth’. You cannot build nor establish truth beyond the quality, strength of your foundation.

Revelatory truth is likened to building a house. You need to first establish certain biblical principles and values standard to solidify the foundation of what you intend to build before the main structure begins. The church likes to quote the end-result of a truth in the bible without first understanding the process and mechanism that makes such truth becomes a reality.

There are two concepts of truth in the word of God. The first is defined as a progressive principle, in other words, it requires that you take an action based on faith and believe while the second concept deals directly with the result of the first; meaning, the final manifestation.

We must shift from merely declaring the manifestation of the end-result of truth, and start understanding how to align ourselves with the values and process of truth so we can arrive at the point of matured understanding of the intended will and objective of Christ for us. this indeed is knowing the truth that will eventually set us from the assault of darkness. i hope this piece of truth will assist us from becoming serious with our spiritual journey.

PROPHECY AND ITS FULFILLMENT

BY ISAIAH-PHILLIPS AKINTOLA

When the season of a precise, prophetic word kicks into activation in time and space, the manifestation of such words does not necessary have to pan out towards a particular direction or expectation of our own person, or even that of a corporate group of people. How many times have we missed the precise speakings and fulfillment of God will through prophecy because we allow false, inaccurate spiritual frame of thinking to judge our hope and expectation.

The intention of the father in the fulfillment of what was declared must be in synch with clear biblical values, principles and standards that does not contradict the overall desired counsel of the father either for a community, or a nation. Prophecies, especially with regards to communities, cities, and nations are given on a seasonal, progressive base that requires awareness and maturity for accurate interpretation and clarification.

Just has we need to read the word of God in a pre-and post-content attitude before we can truly understand the mind of the father for the statement in use, so it is with prophecy. If we lack the context of a given prophetic word, we will certainly misjudge the direction, intention, and the divine expectation of the Spirit of thou says the Lord.

Prophecy aligns with certain eternal value standards, and revelatory framework that must be precisely clear to intercessors, watchmen, and gatekeepers. Prophecies do not work with our own preference or expectations of truth, justice, or even judgement.

Purity of heart and thought is needed in seeing and participating in God’s prophetic program. When we mix our unbridled feelings and emotion to the unfolding plans of the Lord because we base our eyes on how negative and terrible things seem on the outward, we will definitely step out of our position like Saul into a ministry position we are not assigned, and that eventually bring disqualification and judgement on us.

Understanding the overall kingdom agenda of God over your life, family, community, city and nation gives you the edge to follow the progressive, unveiling truth of God’s prophetic plans, and its fulfillment in time.

A LIFE TRANSFORMING ARTICLE.

If you are struggling to make sense why you seem stuck at a particular point of your life’s journey, and the inputs and efforts of your spirituality seem not to be yielding the expected, desired result, well don’t give up hope on yourself. I’ll recommend that you read this short article that should give you some clear perspective and motivation in moving forward towards your glorious destiny in Christ. This note is from my own personal life experience. I pray it minister life to you.

Introduction

Between past memory and a future hope, there’s a present reality of your life that is seemingly trapped in time; a time that is regulated by people and events you don’t have control over. The reality is, many of us were born into apparently negative environments, complex circumstances, and even families we never had the power of choice to choose, or influence their decisions and control over us, if we do, many of us will certainly have chosen an alternative route and environment of existence.

Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

This scripture in Jeremiah was made by the father himself towards his own children while they were still under the oppressive chain of their Babylonian captors. The condition or environment we find ourselves regardless of how we got there is in material in comparison to the eternal plan and purpose of the father for us. Human condition, irrespective of how terrible cannot stop nor alter the spoken, living promise of the father. however, our unbelieves and doubtful state of mind can stop and hinder us from entering the promised inheritance of the father for us.

This scripture according to Jeremiah 29:11 is a sure word that is eternally settled in bringing all who believe in Christ Jesus into their destined promised Land irrespective of their past or present condition. Yet, how we come into this reality of eternal truth is a complete different ball game because the dealings of the father for each of us are uniquely different from person to person and even region to region.

We may have a common faith and spiritual inheritance in Christ, however, the process of entering such inheritance differs in personal faith and spiritual experience, and that’s a very good thing to note. We have shared along this article before, but I sense many are still confused and in doubt about certain things with regards to their future destiny.

To understand our future is to have a keen prophetic insight and guiding wisdom into how our past has shaped our frame of thinking and perceptional insight. In other words, having keen knowledge of the reason why the father allowed certain circumstance to happen to us, or why certain unpleasant people were brought into our lives at certain seasons is a powerful spiritual position.

The ignorance of the sovereign nature of the father over his people is a major weapon in the hands of the enemy until this hour against the people of God. Satan has continued to capitalize on our blindness and lack of understanding towards the will of God by robbing us of entering the sphere of righteousness, peace, and joy in the kingdom.

Managing our past

Many of us like the children of Israel in some form of captivity would have doubted this promise according to Jeremiah 29:11. Why? We often allow the pain of our emotional state of mind to define and control our response not just to God but also to one another. Pain is a powerful tool we are yet to accurately understand and therefore, its negative influence has continued to work against our spiritual state of being.

To the level we understand our emotion is to the level we know ourselves, and to the degree we know ourselves is to the point we are able to submit to the desired, ordained process of the father for us in terms of embracing all the instruments and people placed across our path in helping to shape our destined purpose. Circumstance and people produce two things in every human, pain and joy. These two are powerful emotional instrument that can swing our lives in two different directions, it all depends on how we understand and effectively manage them accordingly.

If you study the characters of these two-emotional instrument you’ll realize that ‘pain’ usually reside within the thought realm of our past traumatic experience, while joy dwells in the anticipative realm of what is, or about to come.

One of the main reasons why we tend to fix our attention more on yesterday’s mistakes, pain, frustration, rejection, fear and doubt is because the negative emotions produced in our yesterday is usually more real and severe to the soul realm than to choose to invest our thought and emotion on a sense of joy that is yet unseen. One can argue that it takes more faith and courage to shift our frame of thinking from the usual position of playing the victim than to advance with a breakthrough attitude mentality.

This unfortunate character of submitting and accepting the victim narrative, negatively reinforces the desire to focus on the soul realm which is what the flesh and of course Satan desires of humans. This is a highly complex, lingering character that controls and manipulate the fallen Adamic nature of all humans.

The scripture said of Christ, because of the joy that was set before him, he endured the cross. Enduring the cross which is the total summary of our emotional pain, failures, persecutions, and disappointment becomes real when the emotion of joy overrides the reality of our past, and we can clearly see into the future outcome of what we are stepping into.

Embracing your future in freedom

The truth is none of us was designed to live in our past memory filled with disappointments and regrets, but in a now future, defined by vision, faith, hope, courage, and trust in Christ who knew you before events and circumstance ever happened to you. The fact is, those horrible circumstances of our past or even present condition are all designed for a reason that can only be comprehended when there’s a precise alignment of our insight and judgement to that of Christ eternal blueprint for our existence.

My own life experience

Comprehending life’s situation and people around us is a powerful spiritual position and strategy that greatly enhances our acceleration into the future. It’s amazing how we can grow up in certain frame of thinking that could either limit or enhance our motivation in becoming fulfilled in life.

There are so many things we actually thought we had full knowledge, insight and understanding into as Christians. But the fact is, our knowledge, which may be theoretical or even theologically have not been effectively synchronized with the eternal intention of the father in terms of his prophetic agenda for us. Knowledge is laudable, but the wisdom that releases applicable understanding should be more desirable in all things.

This is my own testimony like many; I experienced what it felt like to be dropped down with a broken limb like Mephibosheth the son of Jonathan. My life’s accident and cognition impediment affected my state of judgement to the degree that it altered my image and identity. Rather than being drowned deep into the love of the father ordained to save and protect me, I rather hated everything that love meant and represent to me because of those who misrepresent the love of God around me.

I chose rather to live in fear, insecurity, doubt, worry and unbelief. Hate and bitterness becloud my heart and identity instead of love, mercy and forgiveness. I allowed myself to be consumed by fear and the opinions of everyone to the degree that their views shaped and determined my actions and reactions even after I have given my heart to Christ.

Introduction to God’s love

You see, I really do not understand back then the true meaning of accepting Christ. I did what everyone else did in terms of their religious and church service obligations; no one told me that there’s another journey of salvation that is a continual, renewal and developmental experience within my soul faculties. I struggled with deep pain, frustration, and anger until I came to the end of myself. Coming to the end of yourself is a phrase we’ve adopted in kingdom community that means a person have tried and used everything that can be tried in terms of human resource, wisdom, and strength to resolve a problem yet without a lasting result.

I was then introduced to the love of God, which was more of an experience within my soul, I mean the faculty that defines my behavioral character and pattern of reasoning. Until this love of Christ began to reveal myself to me in the light of ascended biblical truth, I never realized how damaged and lost I was even in my proclamation to be a Christian.

I discovered that the love of God, at least in my own case, is an unfolding journey of revelation; a revelation that invites us to another various spheres of spiritual experience  trust, and confidence in the knowkedge of the fatherhood of God, which is one of the most difficult aspects in coming into the true meaning of kingdom centered love.

To know or accept the love of God is to first accept the fatherhood of God. Knowing God as Abba is one of the most difficult spiritual revelation because of the degree of the damaged, dysfunctional stronghold realities locked up within the human soul realm. When we pass the stage of knowing and accepting the fatherhood of God’s love, another portal is opened for another realm of spiritual experience that leads us further into the mystery of the eternal love of the father for us.

This acquired knowledge and understanding, then takes us further into another veil of divine invitation to share in the experiential life of the sovereign nature of the father over our lives and others regardless of the condition or circumstance around us. It is from this point that the scales begin to drop from our eyes to see ourselves and things the way they truly are. The false beliefs, rejections, fear, doubt, self-assertions, self-protection, self-promotion, and self-defense, we’ve built for many years begins to reveal themselves and begin to collapse before us.

This is the point where heaven begins to reintroduce you to yourself. For the very first time you begin to see the strongholds and walls you’ve indirectly or directly allowed others, or even yourself to build within and around you.

The experience that makes us effective

Friends, while it is necessary for us to know the love of God by what we have been told in the scripture, or what has been revealed to us by revelation. However, our measure of the reality of the father’s love in our lives can only be identified by how much of the soul life we have given up for the Spirit of God to gain ascendance over our entire existence.

We can have all the revelation and insight about the love of God in our developmental spiritual stages. We might be able to soundly and effectively write, preach, and teach about the mystery of God’s everlasting love. If, however, the strong romantic feelings about our negative past experiences, and the agonies of yesterday’s disappointment still remain and holds our psyche in captivity, am afraid, we cannot truly claim that we have freedom, or have sincerely entered into the experiential sphere of a lifestyle governed by the divine love of the father. Yes, we may abundantly be benefiting from the fruits of the father’s love, but we will lack the power to comprehend and effectively reciprocate such love to others even when we desire to do so.

What we consciously give up in the sacrifice of our feelings and the emotional psychology of pain that directly relates to the traumatic challenges, failures, and disappointments we experienced in the past is the due price required in advancing into that ascending, revelatory, experiential knowledge of the transforming love of the father in our lives.

Knowledge is always a tool that guides us into a realm of experience or the utilization of a required skill. The fact that we know, or have experienced certain things either good or bad does not mean that we have a keen knowledge of the meaning and purpose of such events or experience. The meaning of what we experience is only given when we have a deep, intimate, biblical ascended relationship with the Spirit of the Lord, who knew us and has planned all things to work together for his own good pleasure for lives.

A kingdom centered love is measured by what we are able to give up and continually release in our toxic emotional soul faculty than merely the knowledge we have of the father’s love. There’s just so much I know of the love of God that I have not received if you will, the capacity to engrain such truth into my daily walk, and that is because of the continual negativity one is faced with, especially amongst those who claim to love us.

The light of the father’s love can only shine perfectly where there’s the darkness of hate and unforgiveness. If we are unwilling to turn on the light of the father’s love in the midst of bondage, pain, and cruelty, how can we boast of knowing or having the love of God? Friends, there’s just so much we know in our spirit-man that cannot be applied to the dysfunctional soul state. We have to move beyond the position of acquired spiritual knowledge to the point where we can begin to effectively use such truth to pull down the negative, dysfunctional faculties of our soul in order for our spiritual walk to be perfected in Christ.

I had to start using each truth that came to me as a revelation to start tearing down all the false images and negative thoughts and imaginations I have allowed to build a wall within my mind. In my teenage life, I was told I will never amount to nothing, yet I knew I was somebody in search for an identity to become somebody. This is where my journey and passion for truth began. I discovered myself through the love I was shown in the fatherhood of God. Knowing that nothing can change how the father feels about me is liberating.

My greatest fear has now become my greatest weapon of creativity and advancing my kingdom assignment. Yes, there days I still feel like given up and running away, but the grace of the father is sufficient in reminding me of who I am in his eternal love, and this truth brings me freedom and allows me to press further into his ordained prophetic agenda for me. Spiritual freedom is an event, but the freedom of your entire life’s faculty is a daily experience that comes from you reminding yourself of who you are, and what the love of the father has achieved on your behalf.

As you get ready to close the year and step into 2018, you must remind yourself that you are a continual, working project in the hands of the Spirit of the Lord. Do not allow your present state of mind or feeling to hijack your ordained, prophetic destiny in Christ. See how far you’ve come with the Lord and where he is leading you. It’s time you also embrace the pure, undiluted love of God as you come to the end of yourself and the opinions of others about you.

HOW TO IDENTIFY A TRUE PROPHET

By Isaiah-Phillips Akintola

Quite often today, we are becoming over burden by the lingering effect of the false ministries of the prophets all around, and so we tend to focus more on how to identify these false prophets, and I believe we still need to do more with regards to this unfortunate reality in the body of Christ.  However, we seem to be neglecting a critical aspect that can enhance and accelerate the issue of dealing with these false prophets which is a strong capability to effectively identify the true prophets when we meet them.

The ministry of false apostles and prophets are almost clouding our judgement to discerning and recognizing those the Lord has given to us due to their seemingly simplicity of lifestyle. This is a vital point that needs a sound ministry of a teaching priest to bring clarity and balance in our spiritual discernment.

Therefore, I will be sharing a few valuable points here to help us recognize a true prophet if we have the privilege of meeting one. We don’t want to be caught up in trying to identify the negative while we can no longer recognize the authentic. Do you know that almost 90% of the prophet’s ministry is an expression of a behavioral lifestyle, embodied within a value system that is synchronized with the value standard, passion, and principles of the Spirit of Christ?

Every aspect of a prophet’s existence and interaction either with the Body of Christ, the Church, those outside the church, and creation generally all carries a specific prophetic agenda that could either be defining the very approved order of the father, or be found aggressively challenging the compromising, corrupt lifestyle of what he sees on ground, especially within it’s immediate geographical matron.

The prophet, by default design, carries a strong governmental capacity to challenge and confront anything, or person, especially within the body of Christ found to be playing a double standard with the things of the Spirit. This we see in the life of Paul as he confronts the compromising character of apostle Peter according to Galatians chapter one.

The entire life history of a true prophet is more of the message than what you hear him articulate. Ninety percent of his message is not taught by words, they are rather caught by coming under his heavenly climatic atmosphere and environment. The imprint of his message is more of a regulation of a life, and the administration of his personality as he adheres to the Spirit of Christ as the bearer of the ultimate testimony of the Spirit of prophecy.

If you desire to know a true prophet, don’t just take his words on a face value, or his ability to perform miracles, signs and wonder as the approved hallmark of his calling, you must be willing to vigorously listen, study and discern the strong hand of the Lord upon his or her life from the beginning of his day on earth.

The constrains, restrains, and the strong [guidance] leading of the Spirit of the Lord in his movements of leadership influence are all parts of the defining factors of the very nature character and identity of the prophet’s life and assignment.

The authenticity of his calling and refining processes is usually defined by what is demanded and taking from him than what he receives, or giving to him, as the case is in our lower level of revelatory understanding of heaven’s provision. What he is not, defines more of what he is as an approved standing before the father, than what he is before the eyes of his fellow brethren and the rest of the world. He’s value and measure of approval is completely different from the general acceptable charismatic [gift] standard of ministry.

A life of a prophet, the heavenly man, is a riddle; a proverb, and a symbol of things that was, and is, and yet to come. His entire being embodies the living message he is sent to preach and represent to those he’s been sent to. However, only a hand full of saints, who through the fruit of humility and brokenness can effectively read the ways and ministry pathway of a sent prophet. When they say come, that’s when he says my time has not yet come, and when they say to him, let’s go, that when he tarries and remains; he is a constrained man.

He does not dance to the popular rhythm or sound of the day. He or she only responds to the melodious sound of heaven.  A prophet’s agony, burden, limitation, lack, wants, needs, increase, open doors or shut doors are all part of a grand designed purpose, ordained to bring the judgment of the Lord, or the eternal realities of his kingdom closer to rebellious communities and the earth in general. He’s inadequacies, creativities, influence, relationships, rejections or acceptance by others are all part of his life’s message and speakings of the kingdom life order to those around him.

His life is an atmosphere of creativity to some desiring life and productivity, while he may also be the very rod of the fathers to a wrong, corrupt, deceptive atmosphere or environment. He’s entrance, and departures are deep prophetic messages from the father that cannot be taken for granted within a church community or the larger society .

He does not seek the glory, fame, or favor of men. He has learned to wait on his father to send all his supplies without hoping in man’s provision. Yet, he is extremely cognizant that the father will often use the least people around or from afar to meet his needs, and when those needs are met, he does not continue to look up to the same people, means, or method the father used yesterday for his today’s provision. For a man can receive nothing except it is given from above. [John 3:27]

These are some ways and value standard of identifying a kingdom centered prophet.
