HOW FIRM IS YOUR FAITH, AND HOW PREPARED ARE YOU TO DEFEND IT IN A SECULAR SOCEITY?

DEFEND-YOUR-FAITH

HOW FIRM IS YOUR FAITH, AND

HOW PREPARED ARE YOU TO DEFEND IT?

by Isaiah-Phillips Akintola

The father is allowing the New Age culture and philosophy of the days we live in to challenge and make demands on every aspect of what you claim to know or believe, to the level that you will almost begin to doubt even the very experience you once had with God in his presence or at the backside of the wilderness.

The society, many of us live, particularly here in Africa is still very much insulated from the brutal attacks and criticism confronting many of our Christian brethren in Europe, America, and a major part of the Arab world, and am afraid it’s only a matter of time before that flood of full-blown assault reaches our shoreline. My worry however is, how ready and prepared are we taking into the cognizance the weak, unbiblical promotion of what is termed Christianity today.

As long as what determines the major core of our Christianity still centers around personal economic breakthrough, am afraid, we cannot be fully prepared for this evil tide coming. As along as our ideology of Christian faith is still very much tide to our ancestral traditional beliefs and culture, we are not match for the flood of deception coming to sweep many away. For as along as our desire is to merely select what suit our narratives faith for our own self-center gain, we will certainly not be able to stand and challenge the issues of our day.

1 Peter 3:14-17
14 But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. “Do not fear their intimidation; do not be shaken. 15 But in your hearts sanctify Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to articulate a defense to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But respond with gentleness and respect, 16 keeping a clear conscience, so that those who slander you will be put to shame by your good behavior in Christ. 17 For it is better, if it is God’s will, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil.

What a template of truth that lays for us our marching order in engaging the 21st century, humanist, New Age society already knocking down many churches in the west. Unfortunately, I do not think many of our leaders sees the urgency of this eminent battle coming to our shoreline of the church in Africa. Since we live in a borderless cyber world, we need to get our priority straight if we must be prepared to face this assault of hell.

This scripture outline for us what we need to do in terms of positioning ourselves as we respond to the sons of darkness. We will have to go beyond the equation of bible passages to knowing and understanding how to break down the principles and values of truth in a manner that allows us to effectively and strategically answer the hard question of the Pilate, Pharaoh, and the queen of Sheba approaching our kingdom space.

The presumptive and assumptions of Christian theology, and of cause, the populace false sense of spirituality floating around many of our church communities in the last two decades or so, has cost the church dearly, particularly with the teens and young adult. The inability to define, and precisely articulate in clear terms what truth is, and how truth relates to their day today choices and productivity are a major problem I have noticed. When Pilate asked Jesus Christ, what is truth, he was actually echoing the general philosophical challenge the world of his day was faced with.

The lack of a logical sense and the spiritual base to correlate the entire Greek philosophy of spirituality in a powerful political and military dominance of the Roman empire was a major concern not just to Pilate, but to the greater philosophers and thinkers of the ancient world. This philosophical problem explained where the Greeks have so many gods that literally competes with human’s population just like the Hindu religion of India.

What further compounded this issue was the fact that some bunch of so-called illiterates who claimed to be the very custodian of the embodiment of the truth kept preaching and teaching everyone that Christ is the truth, and they were proving the facts of their message both in doctrine and through the power of signs and wonders. The early believers clearly understood the doctrine of the apostolic truth, and their lifestyle mirrored this truth for the rest of the world to see.

The unfortunate thing is, Pilate never waited for Jesus Christ reply of his question, I have no doubt that our Lord would have given him a full definition and explanation of who the truth is, and how he can connect to this truth as the only way, the only truth, and the only life to God the author of all things seen and unseen.

There’s no doubt society today, just as in the days of Pilate, are also in deep search for the answer of this great question, what is truth? The question of what is truth is both an ancient and contemporary question, but many Christian leaders do not really see the importance of the question as a powerful strategy to win the world back to Christ.

While we claim we know the answer to this great question, many however, have stopped searching the word like the Bereans Christian for the right principle of conveying the mystery of truth to a blind world in a manner that can restore their sight. today, Spiritism and false beliefs have replaced the quest for sound, biblical knowledge that can offer the answer to a world in need to God. there are just too many in the church who have become religious Pharisees, meaning, they are merely professing a faith their heart and thought no longer follow.

To seek to accept or declare biblical truth that your own life’s values and philosophy does not agree with in practice is the highest level of self-delusion if you ask me. What makes the truth true to you I not a matter of who preached, or taught it, it’s a matter of personal conviction.

Conviction is the footing of establishing truth within human conscience. When truth, or anything that sounds like the truth to you, finds its way into the human conscience it alters one’s perspective and belief. However, when biblical truth which is both written and revelatory by designed finds its root deep into the human heart, it redesigns conscience in a man to remove the fallen idea of how humans see right and wrong to how heaven defines truth.

We know that there are three compound words that holds Christianity together as a cord of sound spirituality; and their faith, hope, and love. Each of these words defines the basis of how we see and relate both to Christ, his Church, and the world in general. If any of these three are not properly understood, and corporately flowed in relating to life and the various challenges thrown to us, we will, at some point begin to doubt our foundation and trust in what we believe.

One of the three compound words is faith, and personally I think we still have a long way to go in truly understanding what faith actually mean from God’s viewpoint. However, Hebrews chapter 6 informs us that faith is not abstract but rather substantial. If this is true which I know it is, how do we substantiate this truth with biblical facts in a manner that our faith does not stand in the knowledge and wisdom of men?

Indeed, faith is the [element] substance of things we hope for… and the very evidence of things not seen, the big question then will be, what defines and constitute the substantial evidence of such faith? Too many Christians, as a religious practice now and confesses what the scripture says, but in actual fact, their belief is actually established on something else.

This something else is that which family, society, friendship, or past circumstance that falsely establish within the subconscious. When our Lord Jesus Christ made this profound statement, these people worship me with the mouth, but their heart is far from me, he was establishing the basis of duality within a man’s ideology that says you confess Christ with your mouth but can also place your allegiance or philosophy somewhere else.

The reality is, the Lord is not seeking for a ritual of worship from his followers. In actual fact, he was seeking a concept of lifestyle individuals called worshipers, whose philosophy and culture of existence is firmly established around the very character nature of his person. Christ by design, is the anointing, or the grace that enabled Jesus, the Son of man to function within the reality of what has been prophetically written about him.

The days we live demands we go beyond the veil of what we believe and confess, to the next realm of experiencing truth to the degree that the truth becomes the very philosophy and culture that drives the understanding of our interaction and engagement with every aspect of existence.

Don’t get me wrong, I am not suggesting that we will not be challenge; in fact, the very purpose of coming into this realm of truth is be able to stand firm in the days where you and I will be challenge like Joseph in Egypt, and Daniel in Babylon.

Only they who know their God will be able to stand and do exploit in this new day. Remember, the scripture says the devil also believes and tremble, but such believe did not cause him to change his mind. A believe that carries no power to change our stand and position is a weak believe!

There are simply too many ‘truth’ being postulated out there without a concrete, solid foundation laid within the hearts of the community of the body of Christ to hold firm these revelatory, apostolic truths. Many members of our churches are starting to give in under the weight of some so-called revelation they’ve been running with without precise, solid footing to hold the such ‘truth’. You cannot build nor establish truth beyond the quality, strength of your foundation.

Revelatory truth is likened to building a house. You need to first establish certain biblical principles and values standard to solidify the foundation of what you intend to build before the main structure begins. The church likes to quote the end-result of a truth in the bible without first understanding the process and mechanism that makes such truth becomes a reality.

There are two concepts of truth in the word of God. The first is defined as a progressive principle, in other words, it requires that you take an action based on faith and believe while the second concept deals directly with the result of the first; meaning, the final manifestation.

We must shift from merely declaring the manifestation of the end-result of truth, and start understanding how to align ourselves with the values and process of truth so we can arrive at the point of matured understanding of the intended will and objective of Christ for us. this indeed is knowing the truth that will eventually set us from the assault of darkness. i hope this piece of truth will assist us from becoming serious with our spiritual journey.

PROPHECY AND ITS FULFILLMENT

24855688497_7926e8cb48_k

BY ISAIAH-PHILLIPS AKINTOLA

When the season of a precise, prophetic word kicks into activation in time and space, the manifestation of such words does not necessary have to pan out towards a particular direction or expectation of our own person, or even that of a corporate group of people. How many times have we missed the precise speakings and fulfillment of God will through prophecy because we allow false, inaccurate spiritual frame of thinking to judge our hope and expectation.

The intention of the father in the fulfillment of what was declared must be in synch with clear biblical values, principles and standards that does not contradict the overall desired counsel of the father either for a community, or a nation. Prophecies, especially with regards to communities, cities, and nations are given on a seasonal, progressive base that requires awareness and maturity for accurate interpretation and clarification.

Just has we need to read the word of God in a pre-and post-content attitude before we can truly understand the mind of the father for the statement in use, so it is with prophecy. If we lack the context of a given prophetic word, we will certainly misjudge the direction, intention, and the divine expectation of the Spirit of thou says the Lord.

Prophecy aligns with certain eternal value standards, and revelatory framework that must be precisely clear to intercessors, watchmen, and gatekeepers. Prophecies do not work with our own preference or expectations of truth, justice, or even judgement.

Purity of heart and thought is needed in seeing and participating in God’s prophetic program. When we mix our unbridled feelings and emotion to the unfolding plans of the Lord because we base our eyes on how negative and terrible things seem on the outward, we will definitely step out of our position like Saul into a ministry position we are not assigned, and that eventually bring disqualification and judgement on us.

Understanding the overall kingdom agenda of God over your life, family, community, city and nation gives you the edge to follow the progressive, unveiling truth of God’s prophetic plans, and its fulfillment in time.

LIFE IS A JOURNEY TOWARD FREEDOM

LIFE IS A JOURNEY TOWARD FREEDOM
A LIFE TRANSFORMING ARTICLE.

By Isaiah-Phillips Akintola

If you are struggling to make sense why you seem stuck at a particular point of your life’s journey, and the inputs and efforts of your spirituality seem not to be yielding the expected, desired result, well don’t give up hope on yourself. I’ll recommend that you read this short article that should give you some clear perspective and motivation in moving forward towards your glorious destiny in Christ. This note is from my own personal life experience. I pray it minister life to you.

Introduction

Between past memory and a future hope, there’s a present reality of your life that is seemingly trapped in time; a time that is regulated by people and events you don’t have control over. The reality is, many of us were born into apparently negative environments, complex circumstances, and even families we never had the power of choice to choose, or influence their decisions and control over us, if we do, many of us will certainly have chosen an alternative route and environment of existence.

Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

This scripture in Jeremiah was made by the father himself towards his own children while they were still under the oppressive chain of their Babylonian captors. The condition or environment we find ourselves regardless of how we got there is in material in comparison to the eternal plan and purpose of the father for us. Human condition, irrespective of how terrible cannot stop nor alter the spoken, living promise of the father. however, our unbelieves and doubtful state of mind can stop and hinder us from entering the promised inheritance of the father for us.

This scripture according to Jeremiah 29:11 is a sure word that is eternally settled in bringing all who believe in Christ Jesus into their destined promised Land irrespective of their past or present condition. Yet, how we come into this reality of eternal truth is a complete different ball game because the dealings of the father for each of us are uniquely different from person to person and even region to region.

We may have a common faith and spiritual inheritance in Christ, however, the process of entering such inheritance differs in personal faith and spiritual experience, and that’s a very good thing to note. We have shared along this article before, but I sense many are still confused and in doubt about certain things with regards to their future destiny.

To understand our future is to have a keen prophetic insight and guiding wisdom into how our past has shaped our frame of thinking and perceptional insight. In other words, having keen knowledge of the reason why the father allowed certain circumstance to happen to us, or why certain unpleasant people were brought into our lives at certain seasons is a powerful spiritual position.

The ignorance of the sovereign nature of the father over his people is a major weapon in the hands of the enemy until this hour against the people of God. Satan has continued to capitalize on our blindness and lack of understanding towards the will of God by robbing us of entering the sphere of righteousness, peace, and joy in the kingdom.

Managing our past

Many of us like the children of Israel in some form of captivity would have doubted this promise according to Jeremiah 29:11. Why? We often allow the pain of our emotional state of mind to define and control our response not just to God but also to one another. Pain is a powerful tool we are yet to accurately understand and therefore, its negative influence has continued to work against our spiritual state of being.

To the level we understand our emotion is to the level we know ourselves, and to the degree we know ourselves is to the point we are able to submit to the desired, ordained process of the father for us in terms of embracing all the instruments and people placed across our path in helping to shape our destined purpose. Circumstance and people produce two things in every human, pain and joy. These two are powerful emotional instrument that can swing our lives in two different directions, it all depends on how we understand and effectively manage them accordingly.

If you study the characters of these two-emotional instrument you’ll realize that ‘pain’ usually reside within the thought realm of our past traumatic experience, while joy dwells in the anticipative realm of what is, or about to come.

One of the main reasons why we tend to fix our attention more on yesterday’s mistakes, pain, frustration, rejection, fear and doubt is because the negative emotions produced in our yesterday is usually more real and severe to the soul realm than to choose to invest our thought and emotion on a sense of joy that is yet unseen. One can argue that it takes more faith and courage to shift our frame of thinking from the usual position of playing the victim than to advance with a breakthrough attitude mentality.

This unfortunate character of submitting and accepting the victim narrative, negatively reinforces the desire to focus on the soul realm which is what the flesh and of course Satan desires of humans. This is a highly complex, lingering character that controls and manipulate the fallen Adamic nature of all humans.

The scripture said of Christ, because of the joy that was set before him, he endured the cross. Enduring the cross which is the total summary of our emotional pain, failures, persecutions, and disappointment becomes real when the emotion of joy overrides the reality of our past, and we can clearly see into the future outcome of what we are stepping into.

Embracing your future in freedom

The truth is none of us was designed to live in our past memory filled with disappointments and regrets, but in a now future, defined by vision, faith, hope, courage, and trust in Christ who knew you before events and circumstance ever happened to you. The fact is, those horrible circumstances of our past or even present condition are all designed for a reason that can only be comprehended when there’s a precise alignment of our insight and judgement to that of Christ eternal blueprint for our existence.

My own life experience

Comprehending life’s situation and people around us is a powerful spiritual position and strategy that greatly enhances our acceleration into the future. It’s amazing how we can grow up in certain frame of thinking that could either limit or enhance our motivation in becoming fulfilled in life.

There are so many things we actually thought we had full knowledge, insight and understanding into as Christians. But the fact is, our knowledge, which may be theoretical or even theologically have not been effectively synchronized with the eternal intention of the father in terms of his prophetic agenda for us. Knowledge is laudable, but the wisdom that releases applicable understanding should be more desirable in all things.

This is my own testimony like many; I experienced what it felt like to be dropped down with a broken limb like Mephibosheth the son of Jonathan. My life’s accident and cognition impediment affected my state of judgement to the degree that it altered my image and identity. Rather than being drowned deep into the love of the father ordained to save and protect me, I rather hated everything that love meant and represent to me because of those who misrepresent the love of God around me.

I chose rather to live in fear, insecurity, doubt, worry and unbelief. Hate and bitterness becloud my heart and identity instead of love, mercy and forgiveness. I allowed myself to be consumed by fear and the opinions of everyone to the degree that their views shaped and determined my actions and reactions even after I have given my heart to Christ.

Introduction to God’s love

You see, I really do not understand back then the true meaning of accepting Christ. I did what everyone else did in terms of their religious and church service obligations; no one told me that there’s another journey of salvation that is a continual, renewal and developmental experience within my soul faculties. I struggled with deep pain, frustration, and anger until I came to the end of myself. Coming to the end of yourself is a phrase we’ve adopted in kingdom community that means a person have tried and used everything that can be tried in terms of human resource, wisdom, and strength to resolve a problem yet without a lasting result.

I was then introduced to the love of God, which was more of an experience within my soul, I mean the faculty that defines my behavioral character and pattern of reasoning. Until this love of Christ began to reveal myself to me in the light of ascended biblical truth, I never realized how damaged and lost I was even in my proclamation to be a Christian.

I discovered that the love of God, at least in my own case, is an unfolding journey of revelation; a revelation that invites us to another various spheres of spiritual experience  trust, and confidence in the knowkedge of the fatherhood of God, which is one of the most difficult aspects in coming into the true meaning of kingdom centered love.

To know or accept the love of God is to first accept the fatherhood of God. Knowing God as Abba is one of the most difficult spiritual revelation because of the degree of the damaged, dysfunctional stronghold realities locked up within the human soul realm. When we pass the stage of knowing and accepting the fatherhood of God’s love, another portal is opened for another realm of spiritual experience that leads us further into the mystery of the eternal love of the father for us.

This acquired knowledge and understanding, then takes us further into another veil of divine invitation to share in the experiential life of the sovereign nature of the father over our lives and others regardless of the condition or circumstance around us. It is from this point that the scales begin to drop from our eyes to see ourselves and things the way they truly are. The false beliefs, rejections, fear, doubt, self-assertions, self-protection, self-promotion, and self-defense, we’ve built for many years begins to reveal themselves and begin to collapse before us.

This is the point where heaven begins to reintroduce you to yourself. For the very first time you begin to see the strongholds and walls you’ve indirectly or directly allowed others, or even yourself to build within and around you.

The experience that makes us effective

Friends, while it is necessary for us to know the love of God by what we have been told in the scripture, or what has been revealed to us by revelation. However, our measure of the reality of the father’s love in our lives can only be identified by how much of the soul life we have given up for the Spirit of God to gain ascendance over our entire existence.

We can have all the revelation and insight about the love of God in our developmental spiritual stages. We might be able to soundly and effectively write, preach, and teach about the mystery of God’s everlasting love. If, however, the strong romantic feelings about our negative past experiences, and the agonies of yesterday’s disappointment still remain and holds our psyche in captivity, am afraid, we cannot truly claim that we have freedom, or have sincerely entered into the experiential sphere of a lifestyle governed by the divine love of the father. Yes, we may abundantly be benefiting from the fruits of the father’s love, but we will lack the power to comprehend and effectively reciprocate such love to others even when we desire to do so.

What we consciously give up in the sacrifice of our feelings and the emotional psychology of pain that directly relates to the traumatic challenges, failures, and disappointments we experienced in the past is the due price required in advancing into that ascending, revelatory, experiential knowledge of the transforming love of the father in our lives.

Knowledge is always a tool that guides us into a realm of experience or the utilization of a required skill. The fact that we know, or have experienced certain things either good or bad does not mean that we have a keen knowledge of the meaning and purpose of such events or experience. The meaning of what we experience is only given when we have a deep, intimate, biblical ascended relationship with the Spirit of the Lord, who knew us and has planned all things to work together for his own good pleasure for lives.

A kingdom centered love is measured by what we are able to give up and continually release in our toxic emotional soul faculty than merely the knowledge we have of the father’s love. There’s just so much I know of the love of God that I have not received if you will, the capacity to engrain such truth into my daily walk, and that is because of the continual negativity one is faced with, especially amongst those who claim to love us.

The light of the father’s love can only shine perfectly where there’s the darkness of hate and unforgiveness. If we are unwilling to turn on the light of the father’s love in the midst of bondage, pain, and cruelty, how can we boast of knowing or having the love of God? Friends, there’s just so much we know in our spirit-man that cannot be applied to the dysfunctional soul state. We have to move beyond the position of acquired spiritual knowledge to the point where we can begin to effectively use such truth to pull down the negative, dysfunctional faculties of our soul in order for our spiritual walk to be perfected in Christ.

I had to start using each truth that came to me as a revelation to start tearing down all the false images and negative thoughts and imaginations I have allowed to build a wall within my mind. In my teenage life, I was told I will never amount to nothing, yet I knew I was somebody in search for an identity to become somebody. This is where my journey and passion for truth began. I discovered myself through the love I was shown in the fatherhood of God. Knowing that nothing can change how the father feels about me is liberating.

My greatest fear has now become my greatest weapon of creativity and advancing my kingdom assignment. Yes, there days I still feel like given up and running away, but the grace of the father is sufficient in reminding me of who I am in his eternal love, and this truth brings me freedom and allows me to press further into his ordained prophetic agenda for me. Spiritual freedom is an event, but the freedom of your entire life’s faculty is a daily experience that comes from you reminding yourself of who you are, and what the love of the father has achieved on your behalf.

As you get ready to close the year and step into 2018, you must remind yourself that you are a continual, working project in the hands of the Spirit of the Lord. Do not allow your present state of mind or feeling to hijack your ordained, prophetic destiny in Christ. See how far you’ve come with the Lord and where he is leading you. It’s time you also embrace the pure, undiluted love of God as you come to the end of yourself and the opinions of others about you.

HOW TO IDENTIFY A TRUE PROPHET

HOW TO IDENTIFY A TRUE PROPHET

By Isaiah-Phillips Akintola

Quite often today, we are becoming over burden by the lingering effect of the false ministries of the prophets all around, and so we tend to focus more on how to identify these false prophets, and I believe we still need to do more with regards to this unfortunate reality in the body of Christ.  However, we seem to be neglecting a critical aspect that can enhance and accelerate the issue of dealing with these false prophets which is a strong capability to effectively identify the true prophets when we meet them.

The ministry of false apostles and prophets are almost clouding our judgement to discerning and recognizing those the Lord has given to us due to their seemingly simplicity of lifestyle. This is a vital point that needs a sound ministry of a teaching priest to bring clarity and balance in our spiritual discernment.

Therefore, I will be sharing a few valuable points here to help us recognize a true prophet if we have the privilege of meeting one. We don’t want to be caught up in trying to identify the negative while we can no longer recognize the authentic. Do you know that almost 90% of the prophet’s ministry is an expression of a behavioral lifestyle, embodied within a value system that is synchronized with the value standard, passion, and principles of the Spirit of Christ?

Every aspect of a prophet’s existence and interaction either with the Body of Christ, the Church, those outside the church, and creation generally all carries a specific prophetic agenda that could either be defining the very approved order of the father, or be found aggressively challenging the compromising, corrupt lifestyle of what he sees on ground, especially within it’s immediate geographical matron.

The prophet, by default design, carries a strong governmental capacity to challenge and confront anything, or person, especially within the body of Christ found to be playing a double standard with the things of the Spirit. This we see in the life of Paul as he confronts the compromising character of apostle Peter according to Galatians chapter one.

The entire life history of a true prophet is more of the message than what you hear him articulate. Ninety percent of his message is not taught by words, they are rather caught by coming under his heavenly climatic atmosphere and environment. The imprint of his message is more of a regulation of a life, and the administration of his personality as he adheres to the Spirit of Christ as the bearer of the ultimate testimony of the Spirit of prophecy.

If you desire to know a true prophet, don’t just take his words on a face value, or his ability to perform miracles, signs and wonder as the approved hallmark of his calling, you must be willing to vigorously listen, study and discern the strong hand of the Lord upon his or her life from the beginning of his day on earth.

The constrains, restrains, and the strong [guidance] leading of the Spirit of the Lord in his movements of leadership influence are all parts of the defining factors of the very nature character and identity of the prophet’s life and assignment.

The authenticity of his calling and refining processes is usually defined by what is demanded and taking from him than what he receives, or giving to him, as the case is in our lower level of revelatory understanding of heaven’s provision. What he is not, defines more of what he is as an approved standing before the father, than what he is before the eyes of his fellow brethren and the rest of the world. He’s value and measure of approval is completely different from the general acceptable charismatic [gift] standard of ministry.

A life of a prophet, the heavenly man, is a riddle; a proverb, and a symbol of things that was, and is, and yet to come. His entire being embodies the living message he is sent to preach and represent to those he’s been sent to. However, only a hand full of saints, who through the fruit of humility and brokenness can effectively read the ways and ministry pathway of a sent prophet. When they say come, that’s when he says my time has not yet come, and when they say to him, let’s go, that when he tarries and remains; he is a constrained man.

He does not dance to the popular rhythm or sound of the day. He or she only responds to the melodious sound of heaven.  A prophet’s agony, burden, limitation, lack, wants, needs, increase, open doors or shut doors are all part of a grand designed purpose, ordained to bring the judgment of the Lord, or the eternal realities of his kingdom closer to rebellious communities and the earth in general. He’s inadequacies, creativities, influence, relationships, rejections or acceptance by others are all part of his life’s message and speakings of the kingdom life order to those around him.

His life is an atmosphere of creativity to some desiring life and productivity, while he may also be the very rod of the fathers to a wrong, corrupt, deceptive atmosphere or environment. He’s entrance, and departures are deep prophetic messages from the father that cannot be taken for granted within a church community or the larger society .

He does not seek the glory, fame, or favor of men. He has learned to wait on his father to send all his supplies without hoping in man’s provision. Yet, he is extremely cognizant that the father will often use the least people around or from afar to meet his needs, and when those needs are met, he does not continue to look up to the same people, means, or method the father used yesterday for his today’s provision. For a man can receive nothing except it is given from above. [John 3:27]

These are some ways and value standard of identifying a kingdom centered prophet.

INTRODUCTION

This message you’re about to read is a generational truth. Meaning, this is not a general conventional message you’ll hear on Sunday. Generational truth can be defined as a truth, message, or revelation that cuts across our various levels of our spiritual orientations, perspectives and understanding.

It seeks to bring insight and wisdom where there’s been confusion with regards to the dealings of the father within certain seasons or epoch. Generation truth cuts across the atmosphere that binds us to a certain frame of spiritual thought, voice, or even dealt with in a particular geographical region or community.

This truth is usually transcendent of our limited revelatory knowledge or even spiritual culture and expectations. Its ultimate purpose is to effectively close an epoch or generation as it ushers in the next phase of the speaking of the Father without leaving any loose ends behind. Generational truth brings clarity as it bridges the division and schism within the body, especially in the area where heaven has begun to announce a new day.

THE JUST SHALL LIVE BY FAITH, MATIN LUTHER’S KEY

I will start out this article from a backdrop of a similar sort of spiritual environment Martin Luther and the rest of the early church fathers found themselves in regard to the perversion of the word of God, and the entire spiritual culture of the church back in the early century.

By the time Martin Luther, who, himself, was formerly part of the religious, organized system of the Roman catholic church realized the sacrilege the catholic church had committed to the principles and value standard of God’s word and the body of Christ, he could no longer be satisfied, or silent with his religious monk practice, he knew he had to challenge the evil beast of Catholicism, defacing Christ, his kingdom, and the image of his church on earth.

When the Lord finally opened his eyes of spiritual understanding of the powerful principle of the just living by faith and not through what the Pop and the papacy’s tradition teachers, he was indeed ready to have a showdown with the entire Roman catholic church order.

The courage to speak and challenge the falsehood was summoned through what he had encountered through the written word of God. As we know back then, the Bible was only available to the Pop and very few elites amongst the religious order of the catholic church. Ignorance and spiritual blindness was perpetuated back then by keeping the written word of God away from the general public. All kinds of lies, deceit, falsehood, occultism, and satanic practices had been brought into the Christian faith. In fact, the church had become a den of thieves and armed robbers. The house of God had become a house of idolatry and witchcraft practice.

As Martin Luther was determined to find a way to break the spell cast upon the people of God and the nations through the cult of the papacy, we also in this sacred day of the Lord must be determined to break the religious, humanist  spell cast upon the present-day church.

There’s no doubt that the Lord Jesus Christ is now releasing the spirit of Cyrus across the globe with the mandate to restore his living temple across the nations, and this is being down through resources and technological capacity like the internet, social media and other strategic means required to fast the movement of the rebuilding of heaven’s initiatives.  This is the third day of the Lord; a day of the third reformation, and we are excited to be alive in this sacred season of the Spirit.

Those called, graced and processed for this present third day reformation must arise with faith, courage, wisdom, holy zeal challenge demonic powers, position to resist the advancement of the kingdom of God across the churches and cities.

AT IT WAS IN DAYS OF MARTIN LUTHER

Today, there are powerful, seductive humanist western [cultures] philosophies that has been methodically mixed with today’s Christianity, just has we have African animalist beliefs and traditions, imported and mixed with biblical, spiritual philosophy, such that most of the understanding and knowledge that drives what is today defined or celebrated as Christianity across our cities, are powerful demonic, foreign values, sourced from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, the spirit of the strange woman who has captured the souls of men; and of cause, the kings of the earth who have also decided to lay in bed with this woman.

These are the nature of the entities and personalities we have allowed to freely coexist with us in the guise of trying to fill the house of God with souls. Instead of the church capturing and influencing these nations with the eternal truth and culture of heaven, we’ve been rather capture and assimilated into their own Babylonian ways of thinking.

MY PROPHETIC BURDEN

Personally, one of my prophetic assignment as a gatekeeper, is not to merely guard the walls and gates of the ecclesia from the spirits of these foreign invaders, but to also make sure there’s preservation of the sacred order of our kingdom apostolic faith-life, and our citizenship identity as we continually engage with society in the advancement of our movement in the earth.

The idea of a sound, apostolic spiritual tradition has almost been eroded from today’s church. Apostolic faith tradition is that spiritual culture and identity the church of Christ was established on at its very inception, and yet, it is the list known and practiced in the body of Christ today. Without understanding the very culture and philosophy that drives the spirituality of the church, it becomes very easy to accept any form of spirituality as long as they sound good and feels good.

This explains why many church leaders today are subtly embracing the demonic New Age/ ancient Greek mythology philosophy.  The culture of the Christian faith is one of the most powerful virtues we have that clearly separates Christianity from other religions, especially the eastern religion that practice false piety, self-discovery, and a soulish philosophy of love.

NEW AGE AND THE SPIRIT OF SEDUCTION IN THE HOUSE OF GOD

As the church continues to get bombarded by a foreign, humanist concept of freedom, liberty, and love in the name of democracy and the New Age ideology, we need to recapture our biblical definition and values system of Christ centered love in the context of what redemptive freedom is, and means to the overall development of our apostolic faith.

As we are expected to grow in all things into the full status of Christ as his body in this season, so we have to guide our understanding of precise kingdom community life and its interaction, so we are not misled by a strong spirit of the anti-Christ and delusion in the name of exercising spiritual liberty and democratic right.

The deception and seduction of freedom and self-actualization philosophy are some of the most powerful weapons the enemy is using today to lure many away from the pathway of sound apostolic community and their heritage in Christ. A precise, biblical concept of spiritual freedom is constrained and guided under the strong, governmental leadership of the Holy Spirit and his vetted apostolic elders at the gates.

Our liberty cannot be known or expressed outside the values and laws of the Spirit which are manifested through the nature character of the fruit of the redeemed spirit.   As long as we cannot adequately define to our people what sound apostolic community is and mains before the father and our gathering, we will remain potentially deceived by the ministry of the angel of light who is Lucifer himself. For as long as we cannot differentiate the false light from the true light we cannot fully appreciate the glory of God even when we are attracted by the father’s presence.

The new age philosophy and interpretation of globalization is currently contending with the spiritual definition and meaning of a true, kingdom global order of Christianity. It’s important we separate these two in clear definition and values standard.

TWO GLOBALIZATION NARRATIVES

While we may both be expressing the same language of globalization, we, however don’t mean the same thing in values and objective, and I strongly believe we need to identify the difference. There’s no doubt about the current global church movement the Father is building today as we continue to witness the collapse of the prison walls religious bondage, manipulation, and authoritarianism in the church.

In the past ten years or so, we have seen what many leaders refers to as rebellion in the church in that many of their flocks now have access to express their own experience of faith and encounter with their heavenly father without necessarily standing behind a pulpit in their various church gatherings.

And the fact is, most of these folks might never have had the opportunity to be given the mic to share their experience and testimony of their spiritual dealings and walk with Christ because they are seen as unworthy enough to come share the front role stage of the church with some of the ‘most spiritual’, and highly influential rich folks.

The world of internet and social media like your WhatsApp, Facebook, and YouTube has not only given the opportunity for everyone to express themselves, and learn something new, but has also given everyone the platform to become a voice, and of cause, hear the voice of everyone, regardless of their spiritual background and orientation.

THE BOOK OF THE GENEALOGY OF JESUS CHRIST

A prophetic perspective into your spiritual heritage and bloodline

By Isaiah-Phillips Akintola

The book of the genealogy of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham. Mathew 1:1

As the father draws my attention to this fascinating scripture, I once again saw the importance of the body of Christ, not just to identify with our physical place of birth, regardless of how wonderful we might have cherished such upbringing, or how dreadful and traumatic the experience of such place still lingers within the walls of our imagination and memory.

The emphases I felt the father was drawing my attention to was to reexamine the meaning and role genealogy played in his progressive, redemptive, and restorative program of his Son. I realize that the body of Christ in this crucial epoch needs to rediscover and encourage itself to prophetically embrace its authentic, spiritual [identity] genealogy, which biblically is more important and relevant than any natural family lineage, regardless of how noble or royal such lineage might be according to John chapter 3.

Genealogy is a powerful mystery

Genealogy is a powerful mystery, embedded within the realities of human life and its highly complex, sociocultural definition and protocols. Our lineage is a picture and a story of our identity, both in the natural and spiritual form.  Our lineage speaks deeply into why we are who we are and the hope of what we directly or indirectly long to become.

The invisible code of our identity pushes us towards a certain direction and preference, we may not necessarily be aware of but are there to determine our next move. We cannot deny or wish away from our genealogy.  Genealogy is deeply rooted within the very life of God within the human spirit. All lineages are traced back to Elohim, the creator of the heavens and earth. The vastness of his glory is reflected in the vast array of billions of stars born every hour. The human spirit, which is a direct reflection of the father’s image and likeness of the father tells us about this mystery of genealogy, connected to our eternal purpose and destiny in Christ.

It’s significant that I quickly state that genealogy is way beyond some elemental reality that can be touched and possess. Yes, lands, wealth and other material things are transferred from generation to generation. But true genealogy is a spiritual identity that can only be transferred and imparted through the divine bloodline of those who have been apprehended and summoned to be the custodian of the prophetic agenda of the father on earth. There’s a company amongst the sons of men, whose lives is a prototype of the ladder Jacob encountered on his way to Harran with angels ascending and descending.  [Genesis 28:10]

The prophetic [messenger] angels type of representation are the portals of the seasons of heaven on earth. They carry and announces shift in seasons; they connect and relocate each of God’s people to their aligned destiny in time. They are representatives of the prophetic the glorious, heritage of the commonwealth of heaven on earth. Heaven uses their location, position and seed to birth and initiates the advance prophetic mandate in time.

Why Abraham and David?

This is one of the reasons why Abraham was chosen and called to be the starting point of a new generation of heaven’s redemptive program.  Abraham was a very wealthy man who chose to leave behind what defines his wealth, custom and identity to listen and follow this God who introduced himself to him as his great reward.  David on the other hand, was a teenager whose heart was deeply in love with the God of his ancestors. His heart was searching for something outside the earth. His desire could not be met by things within the reach of this planetary system; there seem to be found in David not just a heart after God, but a passion to reflect and represent all of God’s purpose on earth.

I strongly believe that these are some of the qualities found in these two icons that connect the spirit of the Christ assignment to them. They became the lineage that kick-starts the process of eternal redemption of God in the earth. The prophetic program of the Father is connected and activated on earth through the powerful process of genealogy. For Christ Messianic assignment to become an effective, redemptive reality, he needed not just a body to legitimatize his function, but also a divinely selected, and a well approved, and prepared bloodline to execute such a mandate.

As our natural birth connects us to a large family tree, so is our spiritual birth. We all have a spiritual genealogy that is eternally connected to our identity and character disposition. Our entire spiritual life is a formation of one seed that reflects two distinct characters, that of David and Abraham, as we’ve just noted.

There’s a uniqueness to your spiritual personality, calling and assignment that should not be mistaken or generalized by humanistic, or religious popular opinion. There’s a profound, prophetic utterance the father made after the fall of man in the garden that is still being fulfilled even to this season. This prophetic word, deals with the judgment of the serpent through the seed of the woman. Well, creation and the church are still tracking the ultimate manifestation of this judgement.

Today we know that the seed of the woman was Jesus Christ, who journeyed from genesis and through the lineage of Abraham and David until he finally bruised the head of the serpent on Calvary and his ascension back to his father.

I am very weary of the gospel that tries to clone everyone into one single identity, especially in the way we practice Christianity today. Your genealogy speaks deep into the core of your spiritual identity. It speaks into the formation of how you get to the place of concluding on certain knowledge and beliefs within the universe of Gods prophetic purpose which ultimately leads to how you respond to your spirituality and assignment.

Tracing your spiritual lineage

Who we are as believers and followers of our lord Jesus Christ carries very deep, rich, spiritual history that must not be taken lightly. Each of our spirits, and the proceeding formation of the fruit of spirituality carries a DNA code that can be traced to certain individuals within the world of our assignment. Every born again, spirit-filled believers are members of a divine clan, representing a vast, corporate, life within the bigger framework of the father’s eternal, prophetic counsel.

You may be part of a church organization, or may even be given a post of leadership, but that place or position may not truly resonate within the core identity of your spiritual genealogy, and therefore, you’re not able to perform and produce to the fullness of your assigned, spiritual capacity.

This is something I have personally witnessed, but highly challenging for many to accept, especially if you are a pastor who have labored and invested into people to be part of what you’re building. In my years of pastoring, I have had the painful experience of releasing some of our most gifted and resourceful members of others ministry. Initially, the experience did not sit well with my spirit until the father began to deal with my heart regarding the matter until I realized their leaving was not just for my good but for the general advancement and building up of the kingdom of God.

When we build to own and not to release, it will be highly difficult to positively respond to this kind of teaching. This is a day of the restoration of lost truth in order for the house of God to be perfectly constructed according to divine order. Our function in the kingdom is far bigger than the little empires we have built for ourselves in the name of ministry. The ministry is the Lord’s and not ours.

There’s a company of people you belong to the kingdom of Israel that enhances your grace function better in the eternal prophetic order of heaven. Please do understand that this does not mean that the house, or its leadership is doing something wrong; in fact, this experience has nothing to do with right or wrong. This is more about proper alignment that allows for effective functioning of our assigned destiny.

This is about where and who you’ve been divinely connected to with the prophetic plan of the father. The entire twelve tribes are the very identity and the summation of the nation of Israel, but each of the tribes carries its own unique image, purpose, and assignment that clearly distinguish them from the rest but also complement the rest.

I’ve seen so many today in the body, especially among some of us who claim to be part of the apostolic reformation community who either lack the divine knowledge and the operational principle of the genealogy order of operation. Yes, there’s been so much emphasis on fathering and the orphan spirit, yet, little have been discussed or even mentioned regarding the rich life, embedded with the mystery of spiritual genealogy.

I’ve discovered that the main motive for our one-sided teaching emphasis on fathering and sonship is mainly centered on the whole issue of gathering more people, influence and resource for our individual camps and networks, and not really about the core issue of spiritual alignment and advancement of the body of Christ to maturity.

The order of heaven is designed in such a way that every one of us is a reflection, or do I say, an extension of someone’s spiritual experience. For example, the person who led you to the Lord, and maybe discipled you has a part of his or her spiritual DNA impacted into the building blocks of your spiritual edifice.

Although in most cases, we hardly realize or recognize this fact, and when we do, we pretend as if it’s not a big deal. In my own case, I could still remember two important people who played a major role in my discipleship development. If not for these two individuals, am not sure if I’ll be where I am today regarding my spiritual journey.

Identifying your spiritual bloodline

Friends, it’s a fulfilling thing to be able to help members of the body of Christ in this season of great spiritual prostitution of truth and sacred things find their true identity and genealogy. The whole history of a person’s life and originality is encoded within his or her genotype. Your spiritual genotype carries the answer to your genealogy, including who are ordained to mature you into perfection in Christ.  The one who helped in developing your spiritual knowledge and awareness, to some degree, determines the quality nature of your spiritual orientation and identity.

Our spirit carries a journey of rich history; how you see and understand things either natural or spiritual is linked to various inputs and information data your spirit receives and process as true spiritual reality. The wholeness or fragmentation of your spiritual knowledge, to a large degree speaks into your understanding and process of your genealogy.

To realign yourself back to divine order and functionality, you must identify your biblical, spiritual bloodline, and am not talking about you tracing your root to some natural Jewish tribe in Israel like many are doing today in America or Africa.

This is a spiritual thing that the father that can only be done through the guidance and leading of the Holy Spirit.  If your heart is truly searching and you’re open to the word of God, the Father will connect you to your place and tribe, and there you will truly find rest for your soul. Your eternal, prophetic assignment on earth is what defines your genealogy and tribal, kingdom community.

THE PURPOSE OF TRIBULATION, AND THE STANDARDIZED KNOWLEDGE OF ACCESSING THE KINGDOM OF GOD. Part 5

THE PURPOSE OF TRIBULATION AND STANDARDIZED KNOWLEDGE OF ACCESSING THE KINGDOM OF GOD. PART 5

by Isaiah-Phillips Akintola

continuation…

Part 5

The foundation to all knowledge

We cannot venture into the knowledge of things, whether they be things in the heavens of heaven or things beneath the earth or within the innermost being of man without first having the knowledge of the Holy One. This basic point I am flagging are essentially crucial to the issues we are going to further consider, and I desire us to reexamine the foundation that ought to give us that proper orientation in both engaging and interpreting the mind of the Lord with regards to the knowledge and culture of his kingdom.

As a student of the scripture, I have discovered that even those who have been given to the body to teach and instruct us on basic principles, values and precepts of the word of God to some degree, share a bit of misconception, prejudices, and misrepresentation for various obvious reasons.

And therefore, I believe that reexamining the core footing that defines our theological prism of ideology in consistent to biblical truth is highly necessary in order to have a correct, solid, holistic, unbiased spiritual footing as we press into the reality of what constitute a precise, standardized knowledge of accessing the kingdom of God.

 The true purpose of salvation

Firstly, the very spiritual footing that both carry and form the shape of the foundation of what is intended to be built as a spiritual edifies plays one of the most important roles in the journey of life. The outpouring substance of what is intended to be shaped as a template of our inner, cast spiritual structure must first align with the revelatory design of the heavenly temple pattern.

However, this is a huge challenge since not everyone had the right spiritual discipleship program to access the knowledge of the Spirit through a precise, standardized, revelatory knowledge of Christ and the kingdom.  One may quickly argue that isn’t that one of the reasons why salvation, through being born again was given?

Yes, that is one of the reasons, but we can equally also agree that not everyone duly understand, or have come to agree that the core purpose of salvation is not just to make it to heaven but to mature us in all knowledge and dealings of life.

True, biblical, precise teaching on salvation ought to teach us how to bring heaven down into our present domain, in a manner that affords us the grace to reflect the glorious beauty and grace of the kingdom of God to creation and humanity through our reborn and regenerated spirit-man. Salvation and redemption were given to create an equalized position for all to perfectly access the doorway into the revelation of Christ and his kingdom for all.

Hence, redemption becomes our school master that prepares us for the position of the sonship nature of the second man, the last Adam, who has become the pattern and template of how we see, receive and function in the ministry we’ve all been assigned.  This further background knowledge gives us insight into what we are examining as we are being called to ascend to another reality in the climbing unto the mountain of the Lord.

Understanding the ministry of suffering

The further we move into the day of the lord, the more resolute and determine we must become in embracing the virtue of suffering and the challenges presented to us in the spirit of joy and the fruit of the spirit as a necessary divine requirement in the preparation to be better equipped for the service of the ministry of Christ and his kingdom.

2 Corinthians 4:17

16Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. 17For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. 18So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

The word suffering among most Christians today has been tagged with a negative unacceptable experience. Yet, when we consider scripture carefully we see how the lord use the ministry of suffering to refine and perfect his vessels of honor.

Suffering is not just about the lack of food, good clothing, money, nice house, the lack of education, job and so on. There’s a suffering the lord has ordained and called his own into in an order to get the best of himself out of them.

The fact that Christians across the globe live in different political and socioeconomic realities, and to a large degree, those realities affects and shape their spiritual orientation and outlook of their faith. In order words, what some many consider as the norm in their part of the world may turn out to be persecution in another region or context.

Environment and perspective

By default, the environment we grew up plays a huge role in the shaping and the construction and formation of our lives orientation and general outlook. Here’s a good example, a believer who grew within a war zone environment, and a Christian who developed within an environment of peace, financial security and wealth will certainly not have the same faith perspective, insight to correct life’s value, and the preferred, operational value template and the opportunity to annex resources for productivity.

While this may not be categorized as a general principle, the fact remains that the realities of these two groups are world apart, and that does impact on their life’s view and spiritual prism.

Another example I have personally noticed in the last 15 years or so of my stay in South Africa, having the opportunity to pioneer a fellowship, preach and teach in various churches within the provinces, I can confidently say that, I’ve noticed a significant difference in the response system of the people to the gospel message.

Furthermore, there’s a unique character attitude many Christians display as they interact, perceive and even react to both the message and the messenger of the gospel from place to place. This concept I am relating to carries both a positive and a negative viewpoint that may not necessarily be seen or noticed on a face value relationship except the Lord opens one’s eyes to see it.

When you gather ministers of the gospel together in one place, and give the task of preaching from the same text scripture, you are certainly going to get varieties of insight and interpretations, and that is true. However accurate is their revelation, you can be rest assured that forty percent of what they might have said or taught are shaped directly or indirectly from the environment that shaped their perspective and life orientation.

This is a fact that cannot be denied. We are all products of our environment, either good or bad, and that’s the reason the Lord uses what is called a standardized knowledge of the spiritual [principle] truth to refine, balance or equalize our spiritual orientation so we don’t only reflect the experience of the environment that has shaped us, but rather see life and its various complex dealing through the eyes of Gods eternal design for us.

This simple, but, profound truth helps us to precisely interpret the whole concept of our lives, either from a positive or negative experience through the prism of the kingdom of God. Regardless of where we came from and the color of our skin or gender, our spiritual lens view changes to the father’s eternal designed blueprint for. Whether we are born with a royal blood, or we are from an African linage of slave trade, it really does not matter again, as our stature and identity in the kingdom of God brings us all back to that point of our true original state in the father, the state of sonship.

Unfortunately, not many understand this concept of life within the Christian faith, and therefore, the lord often use certain parallel kingdom value principles like tribulation, or even temporal lack to awaken the spiritual faculty of his own chosen people, and to also to help them create that sense of spiritual understanding in measuring up to that spiritual standard in accessing the portal of humility and the rest of the fruit of the spirit that truly enriches their soul.

We are told that we can only enter the kingdom through much suffering. This suffering is the glorious pathway into the life and virtue of kingdom culture. Whatever way or condition we’ve been naturally born, or whatever place or location we maybe current located, if we’ve not been through the access point of suffering, the experience of our spiritual orientation will certainly not be completed or lopsided. Therefore, it will be highly challenging for you or me to relate and understand the key spiritual building components for the kingdom life and its representation.

There’s a single binding principle that allows every member of the church of Christ to see and interact with each other according to the stipulation of the ministry of the tree of life. Before we can truly and effectively access the glorious life of the kingdom, the valley conditions of our lives must be filled up, the mountains must be made plain and the on straight road must be straightened out. These are dimensions of ideological beliefs and standards we’ve inherited that must be given up to the new life and culture of the kingdom we are entering.

Everyone whose desire to ascend into the reality of true kingdom lifestyle must come through this doorway of tribulation. The wealthiest people within the body of Christ have their own seasons of suffering. My point is, this is not about the lack of money. Spiritual suffering is not poverty and poverty is not spiritual suffering.

A believer can amass all the wealth of this world but he or she is completely poor unto the true riches of the kingdom. There’s a poverty every believer must experience, regardless of how rich they maybe, they must constantly seek this dealing of the spirit from the father to keep and maintain the sense of spiritual wealth in their journey towards the tree of life.
