Life revolves around habits. A key element of biblical spirituality is discipline; learning to control our sinful human nature and habits so that we can follow the divine intention of the Lord.

You should never allow yourself to get into the habit of defeat. Keep your eyes straight forward to the eternal goal of heaven for you. Let’s submit our minds and their faculties to the discipline required, so that we may sing the songs of the victor.

Don’t let yourself become another number of the statistics of victimhood of self indulgence. You were not created nor designed to be defeated by impulses of your soul.

Come to the foot of the cross and accept the wisdom that says, “My son, do not reject the correction of your father.” Let your inner eyes start seeking the demand necessary to rise above your yesterday.

As you walk with the voice of wisdom and are dedicated to what is required, let your faith come to the place of renewed hope and trust in the promises of victory. Let this new day awaken you to the demand of your dedication to a lifestyle of courage, not defeat.

The Lord is summoning you to get to know him better, from a place of defined dedication to his will. Let your mind start to see your ultimate goal, which is to be devoted to the Father’s heart.

Don’t let the enemy of the flesh keep you dedicated to serving another master whose ultimate goal is to destroy you. Wake up, listen to the sound of God walking in your garden again!
