IDENTIFYING AND FUNCTIONING WITHIN THE CONTEXT OF YOUR TRIBE AS KINGDOM REGENT.

BY ISAIAH-PHILLIPS AKINTOLA

The confusion and complexity of the nature of the days that we live in demands that we begin to press toward identifying our tribe. What do I mean by this? I mean for us to be able to effectively carry out our prophetic mandates as Saints of the third day, we must enter into the scope wherein we can allocate and function within the broad reality of the tribe heaven has ordained for us.

No one is born in isolation; our spiritual birth is done within certain confines if you will limitations and grace; knowing this allows us to not only grow within the dimension of grace God has given to us but also allows us to a receiver of the resources that heaven has made available for us as Saints. The issue of identifying our tribe I believe is a major key to the advancement of the church the body of Christ in this end of days.

As part of the current prophetic emphasis of the Lord for His church, we are now being required as Saints to start streaming toward a higher perspective of spiritual knowledge and understanding that speaks directly to issues of identifying the various unique identities or gifts that make the broader ecclesia more effective and impactful within a society that is increasingly becoming more confused, scattered, and dysfunctional on the matters of its identity.

One of the ways that will allow us to carry out this mission of moving towards a new prophetic horizon is the identification of the tribe we belong. What do we mean by this? This means that. It will no longer be enough to function as members of the body of Christ. What is needed today is that we understand that we function within the unique spiritual tribe ordained for us.

The Lord’s vested interest in this period is around members of His Body who understand the urgency needed for each cutout stone to fit into their unique place and purpose as a kingdom nation.

One of the keyways in which our unique gifts and callings can more effectively benefit the entire ecosystem of the Body of Christ and the nations is by each individual finding their allocated voice and role as a spiritual entity, designed to operate within the broader context of the end-times ecclesia. Understanding our tribal identity as part of the corporate Body of Christ is crucial for the functioning and maturation of the Saints. What does this mean? To function correctly and effectively in this complex era, it is necessary that we recognize our spiritual tribe, rather than merely stating that we are members of the Body of Christ.

The ability and capacity to function in our assigned vision is synonymous to us locating and fitting into our unique place of assignment in the Body. The gifts, resources, grace heaven has made available will only function to the degree ware correctly joined to spirit and Body of the tribe we belong.

This then allow us to maximize the needed grace, relationships, and other resources available for our visionary advancement. You need to speak and function within the environment of your tribe. I know that this is something that many would assume, but it is a major spiritual game changer if we are going to really advance in the prophetic intentions of God in this end of days. It is clear that our assignments are often carried out within the context of, if you will, confines of our tribe.

A few days ago, as I was reflecting and meditating, I felt the Lord pose a question to me: “What tribe are you?” I pondered, “Indeed, what tribe am I?” Instantly, I understood the significance of what the Lord was highlighting—a spiritual principle that provided the answer to my query.

Your calling is not in isolation of your spiritual identity. In fact, it is a direct reflection of your tribal identity. Our identity is a broader scope of our prophetic spirit which defines the constraint and expression of our gifts. Ezekiel 47:13. We can see that the inheritance or gift of the tribe of Joseph was given based on the assignment heaven ordained for them. For those who are used to claiming double portion in the Body of Christ as a release of blessing, I think it’s important we read scripture within the context to which they are written for better clarification and application.

The nation of Israel comprises 12 tribes; each tribe reflects specific assigned purposes, lifestyles, and functionalities expected of them.

Each of the tribes represents something special that the Lord will have them carry out in the broader scope of the prophetic plan for the nation and the entire globe. Not understanding this, however, can limit and frustrate the operation of their gifts and calling. The nation of Israel is a typology of the broader church, and this Church is not just some religious denominational organization, but a spiritual entity made of twelve stones. Each stone reflects a tribal identity with a unique gift, grace, and competence that allows for the general functionality of the Body of Christ.

The prophetic season we have been ushered into is not just one that is defined or characterized by divine separation, but also one that is moving us towards the unique direction of the various ingathering of grace and provisions that heaven has ordained for us within the context of our given redemptive and restorative assignment.

Growing into the understanding of who we are as spiritual entity is a powerful Kingdom keys that will allow us to function effectively correctly and of course continually within the various noises of distractions that has befallen humanity and many parts of the body of Christ today.

God is a God of order, He is a God of management, and of course, he does not believe in the wastage of his assigned resources. Whatever heaven does are done within certain parameter of insights and prophetic understanding. Not understanding these protocols of the activities and the instructions of the Spirit can grossly limit our capacity and of course, hinder our competence from functioning in the full potential that Heaven has ordained it. Hence.

The understanding of our prophetic position as a tribe according to the pattern we see with the nation of Israel, who are reflected twelve tribes; each of this tribes are an expression of a divine purpose and an assignment for the larger Body. The building of the nation of Israel was done through the various architectural understanding of each tribe’s resources and ability as stated throughout the scripture. Not understanding the nature of our tribe’s mandates and grace is to be limited in functioning within the authority and grace that Heaven has made available for us.
