GATEKEEPERS OVER UK, EUROPE, AND THE NATIONS. PART 2
Nations are shaped not only by seemingly effective political strategies, wealth, and innovation, but also by the presence of God who appoints and removes kings. This divine influence nurtures a spirit of genuine leadership marked by sobriety, wisdom, courage, and the sustainable peace and prosperity of its citizens.
Before delving into part two of this significant article, it’s essential to clarify the concept of the office of the prophet and the nature of the prophetic function: Defining the Role and Function of the Prophetic Ministry.
In this season of engagement, it is crucial to define what the Spirit and Office of the Prophet truly represents. There has been much confusion surrounding the Ministry of the Prophet—its purpose, function, and divine design. Without a clear understanding and the intentional release of mature prophetic voices (both men and women) in intercession and other ministry functions, a spiritual awakening in regions like the United Kingdom will remain hindered.
Scripture reveals that the prophetic is one of heaven’s key resources, empowering the saints to fulfill their God-given mandates—regardless of sector or sphere of influence. Therefore, we must have precise and concise revelation of what the prophetic truly is.
Throughout history, the enemy has sought to distort, frustrate, and compromise people’s understanding of prophetic ministry—muddying the definition of a true prophet and the function of prophetic grace. Yet, the prophetic is ultimately the expression of Christ’s heart, aligning His people with His purposes—both individually and corporately. When we gain true clarity on the prophetic, we will see a generation empowered by faith, anchored in grace, and bold enough to advance in spiritual warfare.
The prophetic has never been about:
• Personal interests
• Personal preferences
• Ego or self-promotion
• Material gain or numerical growth
Rather, it is God’s counsel, intention, and purpose flowing through purified vessels—those sanctified to accurately represent heaven’s agenda. If there was ever a time the United Kingdom needed mature prophetic ministry—both personally and corporately—it is now. The prophetic is not merely a gift but a dimension of spiritual maturity we grow into as we deepen our walk with Christ. A well-matured prophet functions as heaven’s reinforcement, equipping the saints to build God’s kingdom even in times of hostility.
Ezra 5:1-2 (NIV)
“Now Haggai the prophet and Zechariah the prophet, a descendant of Iddo, prophesied to the Jews in Judah and Jerusalem in the name of the God of Israel, who was over them. Then Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel and Joshua son of Jozadak set to work to rebuild the house of God in Jerusalem. And the prophets of God were with them, supporting them.”
In every age of spiritual decline, God has always reserved a remnant, a people who refuse to bow to the idols of their time. Today is no different. In the face of sweeping lawlessness, moral confusion, and institutional hostility toward the Christian faith, God is awakening a new breed of believers across the United Kingdom, Europe, and America to say the least. These are not conventional churchgoers.
They are not seeking comfort, applause, or cultural validation. They have been shaped in secret, refined through adversity, and marked by a fierce loyalty to Christ and His kingdom. Their passion is not self-expression; it is kingdom alignment. They don’t carry borrowed convictions they carry the weight of divine assignments.
This generation is different. They have prophetic clarity in a time of spiritual fog. They are not distracted by the noise of popular culture or silenced by political correctness. Instead, they are students of Scripture, discerning of the times, and sensitive to the movements of God’s Spirit. Many of them are young in age but ancient in understanding.
Their identity is not rooted in popularity, nationality, or denomination, it is anchored in sonship. They have been weaned from the need for platform and permission. What drives them is obedience to God and an unwavering resolve to see His kingdom come and His will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.
But make no mistake: this remnant is not merely reactive. They are not here just to defend what is left. They are architects of spiritual reformation, called to rebuild what has been torn down. Their assignment is both prophetic and apostolic, declaring truth while laying new foundations of God’s house and Intentions.
They confront compromise within the Church and expose deception in the culture.
They understand that revival without reformation is temporary. So they are pressing for deeper, systemic transformation, starting first with the heart of the Church. They are calling leaders back to holiness, churches back to the altar, and nations back to God.
These men and women are strategic. They understand that influence must be reclaimed in every sphere of government, media, education, family, arts, business, and the Church. They are stepping into these arenas not to assimilate, but to infiltrate with righteousness, justice, and truth. They are reformers, not entertainers. They are warriors, not celebrities. And they carry the burden of intercession, knowing that the battle is first spiritual before it is cultural.
The Church Must be Awakened: From Institutional Comfort to Apostolic Urgency
The rising remnant is not a replacement for the Church; it is a rebuke to its compromise and complacency. For too long, large sections of the Body of Christ have grown numb, choosing institutional comfort over spiritual confrontation. While the culture races toward darkness, many pulpits have gone silent. Conviction has been exchanged for popularity. Discipleship has been diluted into motivational speeches. And holiness, once the standard of God’s people, is now treated as optional, outdated, or even offensive.
But the presence of a remnant reveals that God has not abandoned His Church. He is, instead, calling it out of slumber. The hour is far too urgent for business as usual. The Church must rediscover its voice not a voice shaped by public opinion, but one anchored in heaven’s authority. If the Church does not return to the altar, to prayer, and to prophetic truth, it will forfeit its influence and become irrelevant in the unfolding battle for the soul of nations.
This moment demands a complete recalibration—a turning away from religious performances and toward apostolic alignment. Church leaders must be willing to confront the idols in their own midst: the idol of comfort, the idol of approval, the idol of numbers. We need shepherds who protect the sheep and prophets who speak truth, even when it costs them everything. It is time for leaders to stop entertaining the people and start equipping them for spiritual war.
The Church must begin to train believers to discern the times, to understand spiritual warfare, and to carry the burden of intercession. It must teach people how to stand in righteousness in a hostile culture how to raise families in truth, how to engage the public square without compromise, and how to live with boldness under the Lordship of Christ. Revival must no longer be treated as a conference theme; it must become the core mission of the Church.
This will require courage. Not the kind that seeks applause, but the kind that risks reputation. It will require a return to sound doctrine, a revival of fasting and prayer, and the restoration of honor for the Word of God. The Church must stop negotiating with darkness and start confronting it. The remnant cannot do this alone. The Church must rise with it, or it will be left behind by the move of God already underway.
