At its core, intercession is an act of love; it’s an intentional, Spirit-led intervention on behalf of others. It’s the moment when a human heart aligns with God’s heart, pleading for His mercy, justice, and purposes to manifest in the earth. Whether it’s for a family member, a city, or an entire nation, intercession carries the weight of heaven’s redemptive plan. The Bible tells us that Moses’ hands grew weary, a natural reality in the challenges of life and ministry. At this critical moment, Aaron and Hur stepped in, upholding Moses’ hands to sustain his intercessory posture. Their support ensured that Joshua’s battle on the ground was victorious, directly tied to Moses’ position on the mountain.
