The passing away of God's prophetic vanguards in a generation means several things, including the closure of a prophetic season and the opening of another. The passing of the type of ministry leadership grace and voice should be highly noted. Elijah and Elisha are two different personalities with unique grace, but we see Elisha receiving a double portion of the anointing upon the life of Elisha. The anointing is God's prophetic voice that allows certain things to be done on behalf of the kingdom of God, especially in the objective of redemption. There are certain individuals the Lord had developed and matured in the spiritual ranking to the degree that they have been entrusted with a specific position of influence as Eldership and governmental authority at the gates of nations and continents.
Countless many, as we can see in the word of God and in modern history were defeated by the enemy during their prime days of strength and glory. A very good example of this that of Rehoboam, Son of King Solomon. The scripture affirms that when Rehoboam’s position as the King of Israel was firmly established with all the fortified cities he had built and the great numbers of armies at his disposal, he and the rest of the people abandoned the laws and ways of God.
The bottom line was 22 out of 33 thousand chosen warriors on the way to the battle were sent back home because something that ought to have been part of their default, the footing of readiness as the army of God was not there, hence, they were sent home. What could disqualify you and me in this season of preparedness and enrolment for the battle of the Lord?
Today, we ask for your forgiveness, and we confess every wrong action, decision, and connection we have that is contrary to your intention for us; we submit to your leadership and authority. We shut the doors we’ve ignorantly open for the wrong spirit to torment and hinder us from the life of liberty you’ve given to us. We bind our soul to the love of Christ; we yield our thoughts and imagination to the will of Christ.
Beauty lies within your spirit; beauty is an integral part of your spiritual makeup, and when you allow yourself to be known and truly reborn by your creator, not only will your true beauty be restored to you, but you’ll also see others in their true state of beauty.
Beauty is a mystery that can only be correctly defined and understood the way God sees his creation in the beginning...after he created man, and he said, it was very good. Goodness and beauty are synonymous to the awakening of light of God within a heart that is once darkened by corruption. Beauty is the act of perfection in creation; it is not the expression of adornment.
We've been placed in an environment that sustains everything we are, and should represent as humans made in the likeness of God. A life lived in the consciousness of the abiding presence of God is one that receives provision for life and godliness according to brother Peter.
