ZACCHAEUS, A PEOPLE OF ASCENT. DOWNLOAD 10.

Beloved of the Lord, it is that time of the season where we are invited again to sow seeds that would define the future harvest of our children and posterity. 

How we see and keenly understand the nature of this new day would define and affect our response system in terms of the quality of heart we present to the Lord.

The ones that do understand the weightiness of what is required for this epoch will undoubtedly bring their best washed garments and wine skin. 

They will offer hearts that are truly circumcised and sanctified as vessel meet for the master’s use. They will not approach the day with a casual, levity of attitude, but will rather present all they have on the altar for the Father’s use.

Friends, there are a great density of clouds of witnesses waiting for us on the mountain as we respond to the summoning voice of the Spirit to ascend (mature) in this glorious season of a new prophetic sound, charting and engineering a new but still ancient path for this generation.

A deep, passionate hunger to know and please the ascended Christ and his kingdom can be arguably said to be the fan that flames into manifestation the ever-increasing, abiding presence and glory of the Father in the life of any individual.

A keen interest in knowing and serving the will of God always paves the way for the right opportunity to find him, even in a season that seems like the Lord has hidden his face.

We are confidently informed that if we seek the Lord diligently with all our hearts, we will find him. The question to then ask is, how far and how diligent are we ready to go in search to find and return the ancient pathway of God’s kingdom to the Body of Christ and this generation?

This material is about those willing to lay all they have on the altar as we see with Zacchaeus, ready to climb a tree to gain an advanced, prophetic sight to see and fulfill heaven’s divine intention for his generation.  

This book is not for our spiritual entertainment; it’s a sound of awakening that will challenge and stir your heart to respond on behalf of a generation desperately in need of God’s divine intervention before it’s too late.

If anyone assumes to find the Lord in many of what is religiously called Christianity today, I am sorry to disappoint you that you will not find him. This is the Day of the Lord; this is a day of his kingdom. The season of man’s ideas of church is past over!

Many things sounding or even looking like God’s approved pattern are the idols of men’s heart designed to charm the hearts of the uncircumcised away from the ancient pathway.

The Holy Spirit however, is now awakening the minds of his people to the realization to see and understand that the Lord is not in most of the things being presented in the name of the Lord, and it’s for this reason the glory and presence of the Father seem to be absent from what is being tagged Christianity today.

Brethren, it is no longer about the name men calls it but the approved presence of the Father in the activity. The Lord is exposing the religious deceptions and falsehoods being promoted in the name of Christ and his Church.

 Many of the things being paraded in the name of God are products of the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Heaven is calling us to move towards the fruit of the tree of life.

In my early stage of being called into ministry, I used to nurse the idea that the Lord favors certain individuals more than others in terms of how he releases his presence, power and authority into their lives. However, as I began to grow in the knowledge of truth and, of course, the encounter of scriptures that proves that God is not a respecter of man, my assumption and inaccurate understanding starts to give way. Acts 10:34-35

Indeed, God is not a respecter of any person. Whoever wishes to offer the Lord the quality of life he can use to manifest his presence and glory, he will use such an individual regardless of who they are, or where they come from. The price paid in gaining the riches of spiritual relationship produces the experience and life we share in the ministry committed to us.

Moses, arguably, can be said to be one of the most unusual prophetic personalities in the entire scripture due to the strange encounters he had with Elohim himself. He is one person the Lord boasted of speaking face to face, not in similitude. 

One can also say that Moses was the first approved human outside of Adam, invited to encounter the Father on a designated mountain to receive the constitution that will define the people of Israel as God’s own nation of priests.

This scripture below introduces us to this strange encounter of Moses on Mount Sinai. We are told that when Moses went up to the mountain, the clouds of God’s glory settled on the mountain for six days, and by the seventh day, Moses was called into the clouds to experience the glory of Elohim for forty days and forty nights.

This experience is not one to be taken lightly, but rather, a key pattern to divine interaction and a spiritual landmark that defines for us the order of our approach to sacredness. 

What I want us to look at, as we are also being called like Moses to ascend towards this new order of divine elevation, is how the ascent of Moses parallels the ascent of Zacchaeus, who has become our pattern in this 21^st century kingdom lifestyle.

One could argue that almost the same zeal and passion for Moses was found in Zacchaeus, because they both showed a deep longing and passion to see the glory of God at any cost.

It was Moses who said that if God’s presence does not go with them, they will not make a move. Zacchaeus, on the other hand, left the crowd’s, his fortune, and personality as a wealthy tax collector behind to run ahead, only to climb a tree so he could see Jesus Christ. These are two unassuming exemplary models that we need to carefully understudy if we want to bring the glory of God to bear in our time.

There’s a search and call for a company of Saints who can make their ascent towards the mountain of transfiguration, in bringing a fresh perspective of God’s glory and divine government down to a generation that has become nonchalant and lukewarm in their relationship with the Most High and their prophetic assignment.

BIBLICAL PATTERN TO THE MINISTRY OF FASTING

Just as we abstain from certain habits and diets in the natural so that we can achieve specific set purposes and goals, the same principle applies to the protocol of spiritual growth, awareness, and maturity. Training our spirit to discern life the way the Father ordained it is an excellent spiritual value that should be commended.

But here lies the battle; the enemy does not want any person to reach such a height of spiritual awareness. So, he puts all types of excuses on our way to blind our eyes from seeing the necessity and benefits to wait on the Lord in the place of fasting.

Secondly, he gives us a thousand reasons why we don’t have the time, space, and strength to wait upon the Lord. The flesh, as I have noted, is the veil that blocks and hinders [the spirit] us from seeing and accessing the ever-increasing glorious realms and realities of the kingdom of God, closer to us than the breath we breathe.

When we talk about fasting in accordance with the Lord’s way, we generally refer to the various means and methods available to shed off the sinful weight of the old man, hindering us from ascending towards that mountain of divine wisdom in our assigned representation ministry.

Bringing the old man to the place of the Cross and maintaining that crucified life is the primary purpose of biblical-focused fasting. Why? When we finally make our way towards that spiritual height in the Spirit, we suddenly realize that many of the things we pursue in prayer and fasting are not the main issue. The spiritual perspective we wear defines how we see things, people, and our personal needs. The higher we go in spiritual understanding, the more our needs and requests change.

Our spiritual height defines our needs, regardless of how things may look in terms of our material conditions.  The word of God says, a man’s life does not consist in the abundance of what he possesses. Many, however, measure their spirituality by what they possess. Of course, this is a false measuring yardstick of who we truly are and represent.

This material tracks the fundamental steps into the vast dimensions of this good news known as the Gospel of the kingdom of God. Of course, the first point is to discover that no one can eavesdrop or stumble on this eternal Gospel without first receiving the initiation or spiritual Baptism into Christ, who is the doorway into the realities of the kingdom of God.

We cannot experience what this kingdom of God is all about for as long as we remain blind and entrapped in the fallen Adamic nature and the alternative the enemy is offering society. The Gospel of the kingdom is an access doorway into the vast realm of an endless frontier of spiritual discovery in Christ. This book seeks to offer the key that opens the entrance to access both the knowledge and experience of what lies within the vast dimensional sphere of the kingdom of God.

As you study this material, you must keep in mind that I am not doing in-depth, expository teaching about the Kingdom of God, even though there are profound counsel, insights, and value standards regarding the ascended revelatory wisdom of the kingdom to discover in this book. I am, instead, laying the principle of the right approach in understanding the basic foundational values we must have in this journey of truth.

In the past two decades or more, we have written several materials and articles around the matters of the kingdom dynamics that are highly informative and transformative in bringing clarity and insight to biblical spirituality seekers.

This material, however, is the first of its kind that we sought to put together in laying the correct foundational frame of thinking and the proper apostolic blueprint of interaction, such that, when we engage with kingdom communities or materials, it enhances our comprehensive understanding in both relational and application of kingdom truth and its immense dynamism.

I have titled this resource dynamics of the Kingdom gospel due to the various facets, emphasis, and dimensions of the spiritual truth encapsulated within this Gospel. The term, Gospel of the kingdom, is a compound name that captures the eternal essence and the ever-unfolding realties of the mystery of the life and government of Christ over all dominion, power, and authority.

The Gospel of the kingdom is the convergence of the various facets of the impression and expression of the very life in Christ. This Gospel is still a mystery to even the best and the most spiritual entity. The journey of discovering this Gospel or good news begins with the foundation of spirit and soul redemption and then moves to a greater reality of the demonstration of the wisdom of the Gospel to powers, dominions, and principalities over realms and the nations.

6 Among the mature, however, we speak a message of wisdom—but not the wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing. 7 No, we speak of the mysterious and hidden wisdom of God, which He destined for our glory before time began. 8 None of the rulers of this age understood it. For if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.… 1 Corinthians 2:6-8

Before defining the Gospel of the kingdom of God

Before we easily define and limit the impression of the Gospel of the kingdom to heaven’s governing administrative leadership, we must first and foremost see this kingdom gospel as the very expression of a vast realm of life and pattern of value in Christ. The dominion of the kingdom of God over all things begins from an interior perspective of the ascended revelation of the origin and the supremacy of Christ over our humanity and spirituality.

To understand the kingdom of God is to first see and experience the kingdom as the domain of God’s life, which is Christ. To the degree, we understand the revelation of Christ as the King of kings and the Lord of lords, is to the level we will understand and appreciate the essence and vastness of the dominion of God’s kingdom over all human affairs. A student of the book of Daniel will immediately know what I am saying here.

One of the displayed glories of God’s wisdom in Babylon is the vastness and power of God’s dominion over the kingdoms of men. Daniel and his other Hebrew colleagues did not have to physically build anything or show their military strength in advanced warfare to bring Babylon and the king to its knees.

The reality of God’s abiding life within these three men showed Babylon that his glory is inconsequential to the vast reality of the authority of the kingdom of God that resides within them. We cannot appreciate nor function in the ascended wisdom and governmental legislation of the kingdom of God when we lack the highly required reality of the ascended revelatory life of Christ as being the King over all things.

Daniel 7
27 Then the sovereignty, dominion, and greatness of the kingdoms under all of heaven will be given to the people, the saints of the Most High. His kingdom will be an everlasting kingdom, and all rulers will serve and obey Him.’

The revelation of the kingdom starts from the inner dominion of Christ over our hearts and the rest faculties of life’s existence. Yes, the vast realm of the kingdom gospel begins with acknowledging the rulership of Christ reign over our interior lives. Thoughts, motives, agendas, and imaginations must come under the government of this Gospel. Whatever we seek to know or teach regarding the kingdom must be seen from the reality of the inward life we’ve subscribed to in Christ. Then, such life begins to influence our immediate world until the world around us feels and sees the impact of such a lifestyle.

THE NEHEMIAH’S REFORMATION

This is the day the Lord is restoring to us a company of Nehemiah’s within his Church and the nations; with a determined governmental authority to enforce change and reform, yet, with the humility and compassion to inspire, guide, lead, and direct even

There’s an emerging generation in this season who have been purified through the crucible of times and seasons, approved and sanctified by the fire of heaven just as gold is purified in the furnace; individuals, with the quality character found in a man like Nehemiah, burdened, and driven with the heavenly vision in intercession to rebuild, reform, transform, and ultimately restore that which has been broken down as the eternal image and identity of the people.

To fix, repair, and restore that which represents the position of identity and security of society, one needs a quality of leadership whose own identity and sense of security has been healed and restored to heaven’s ordained lifestyle.  A leader whose burnt gate and broken walls have been repaired and restore to its place of honor and dignity.  This is what we find in Nehemiah, whose name means Jehovah will comfort.  To bring comfort to a people, we need to establish the sense of hope, courage, protection and defense from all eternal or external aggression. 

 

The increase of deception and seduction to lure the nations and the Saints to follow the charming voice of the woman who sits upon many waters, according to the book of Revelation has become increasely visible in many homes, government institutions and Churches across the globe. The degree of compromise in today’s Church as seen in the society is a testimony to the failure of sound leadership.

The central focus of this teaching, we are about to examine is the concept of a failed leadership. Leadership is about being present and visible! Jezebel thrives where sound, biblical spiritual leadership has been compromised as we saw regarding King Ahab of Israel.

There is no stronger area of Christianity that so influences the outcome of faith, hope and love for the promises of God, than the concept of prayer. How we dialogue and transact spiritual business at any level is solidly informed by and built on the orientation or the foundation of our prayer culture. It is a known fact that most of what is generally accepted today as effective prayer is mostly influenced by our cultural background, denominational exposure, and of course, the unique socioeconomic and geopolitical challenges within our region of existence. 

 

This material will give new insight and help gain proper perspective to the required standard of effective praying in this season of transition.  It addresses the question of what makes prayer effectual within the context of what is known today as the gospel of the kingdom.  It is important to be reminded that it is within the context of this gospel of the kingdom that the Father has given full authority to finalize all his purposes for the earth and humanity.

When the church abdicates her influence and responsibility or decides to begin to live according to the value, standard of the Gentile world, that of course, means that we are beginning to drive the Father away from his temple which is our individual and corporate life as we read in the book of Ezekiel. Ezekiel was invited by the father to come see what the religious elders of Israel were doing behind the cotton in the house of God.

These elders have not only completely lost the honor and the fear of God but are emboldened to bring the image and practice of foreign gods into the house of God; the scripture calls it, the image of jealousy.

Of a truth, this is what we are witnessing today across the various churches today, we have not only lost our regards and awareness of the presence of God in our midst; we have also imported the image and practice of worshipping foreign gods. The god of Mammon, humanism, materialism, ancient Greeks and Babylonian gods are all being awakened today with a transformed look to capture the hearts of deceived members of the Body of Christ.
