There’s an emerging generation in this season who have been purified through the crucible of times and seasons, approved and sanctified by the fire of heaven just as gold is purified in the furnace; individuals, with the quality character found in a man like Nehemiah, burdened, and driven with the heavenly vision in intercession to rebuild, reform, transform, and ultimately restore that which has been broken down as the eternal image and identity of the people.
To fix, repair, and restore that which represents the position of identity and security of society, one needs a quality of leadership whose own identity and sense of security has been healed and restored to heaven’s ordained lifestyle. A leader whose burnt gate and broken walls have been repaired and restore to its place of honor and dignity. This is what we find in Nehemiah, whose name means Jehovah will comfort. To bring comfort to a people, we need to establish the sense of hope, courage, protection and defense from all eternal or external aggression.
The increase of deception and seduction to lure the nations and the Saints to follow the charming voice of the woman who sits upon many waters, according to the book of Revelation has become increasely visible in many homes, government institutions and Churches across the globe. The degree of compromise in today’s Church as seen in the society is a testimony to the failure of sound leadership.
