A JOURNEY TOWARDS THE TREE OF LIFE

So, it is written: “The first man Adam became a living being” the last Adam, a life-giving spirit. 46 The spiritual did not come first, but the natural, and after that the spiritual. 47 The first man was of the dust of the earth; the second man is of heaven.

1 Corinthians 15:45-47

There’s no knowledge of Christ and the things of his kingdom outside a personal discovery of the reason first to pursue the Father in pure, devoted love as we step towards the very essence of our existence in this exciting but complex prophetic season across the earth.

Priority is the keyword that must guide and guard our hearts and steps not to fall back to the lower plain we were before.

As we continue to address the things the Holy Spirit is revealing to his Church, we must allow ourselves to rest in the rigorous adjustments and correction of how we’ve defined spirituality to how the Lord and patriarchs saw and used it to honor our heavenly Father.

They’ve been lots of assumed and presumed approach to what we call spirituality or even the matters of the kingdom of God unfortunately.

Our vague approach to the ways of God has cost us dearly, particularly when we honestly examine where we are coming from and how we finally arrived at the year 2019. We can say prophetically that we are two years into the new spiritual season we have been ushered in, and we need to carefully follow the steps and direction the Holy Spirit is is emphasizing as we proceed further unto the higher realm in Christ.

Heaven is speaking to us, and we must present our ears, eyes, and hearts to listen carefully so we don’t repeat the mistake of the former position of the Church.

IT ALL BEGINS WITH LOVE

All we can ever desire and hope for in life and eternity is anchored in the degree of love we have for Christ. Love so pure and honest is the doorway to all mysteries of LIFE and the KINGDOM of God.

As we been delivered from the false spiritual perspective and experience of feeding on the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, we find it a bit difficult to immediately adjust to the true ways of approaching the things of God and his kingdom.

Still, as we submit to the leading and instruction of the Spirit of truth within us, we will soon realize that change has begun to happen within our understanding.

This change, we are guided by the unconditional and insatiable love we are developing for Christ.

This love is not attached to any other reasons; it’s not connected to an agenda outside the fact that we desire to know Christ and the fellowship of his suffering.

It is the knowledge of seeking to know the Lord that drives us to pursue his love.

The love of God, though it is a revelation, only comes to those who are deeply in search of Christ, and not just the things of Christ. We must make this differentiation.

From the former life we’ve experienced, we seek the things of God and his kingdom out of duty; we immense our so-called spirituality in good works and other religious duty with the hope that the more we are committed to those activities, we will be greatly rewarded with a deeper revelation of God, or better, still, we will have an increase of truth, revelation, wisdom, or material blessings.

And in fact, we often do get those rewards, but they never truly satisfy the soul’s longing.

We have raised a generation of Christians; we seem to have answers for almost everything going on in and around them, but these answers are gleaned from what the intelligence of the soul’s faculty has been fed from eating from the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
